If I could give it zero stars I would. After going 1 hour to this salon, the nails are horrible and the service sucks. The bathroom is gross. I can tell the employees are talking about me in Vietnamese. read more

It should be 0 stars It's been two weeks since I went last. It has been the WORST JOB EVER. Nail fell off several nails had color peel off. And it it actually happened last week when I had only had them for 5.5 days and slowly got worse. Let's back up a bit... So Halloween a friend and I went for full sets. I was started first and ended last. They didn't push back cuticles, or trim natural nails down. Then it was $5 for a specific shape and it was never like that before. My tech couldn't even do the shape of almond. And then I had a lot of left over build up underneath my nails. They said that happens and could not remove it because it had harden. Not happy. My friend's nails were down out ok.. Now two weeks later, I'm missing a nail, had several peel off from color, cuticles are gross because again they never addressed them. Still have the build up they never fixed. I even said something and they didn't address it. It used to be hit or miss and mostly good, now the last two times have been crappy for $50 nail fills. I will not recommend them to anyone, nor will I go back. Dwight has a new place that one time fixed another crappy nail job from here. Guess I didn't learn my lesson until now. read more

I moved to the area a year and a half ago and tried this salon shortly after moving in. I wasn't entirely pleased but it wasn't the worst experience I've had. I couldn't make it back to my normal place today and wanted to get my nails done, so I tried it again. Bad idea!!! I got a no chip manicure and pedicure. My toenails were not cleaned underneath them as I had done some gardening earlier this week. I cleaned them the best I could, but usually they get the rest when I get a pedicure. He did not. I did it myself before he applied the polish. (I had no chip polish on before and didn't want to ruin it by digging in the crease between mail and skin). Other than that, it was a decent pedicure. Time came for my nails and that's where it went to crap! I chose an OPI color for both hands and toes. I did that on purpose because it seems to last longer than some of the other brands out there. They did not use OPI product. The man put two coats of polish on my hands and it looked watered down. I asked why it didn't match the color on my toes and he said, it does. I showed him and said, no it doesn't! I can see right through my polish. A lady came over and they spoke another language to each other and then he applied two more coats, over the top coat. I can still see right through the tips of my nails! Another guy came by and said, sorry this is a new brand and it's no good. He says, I'm going to throw it away after you. What??!! It's garbage but I have to pay $106 for a job with crap polish!! Very unhappy! He should have asked if I wanted to pick another color or continued to add coats until it was the correct color and not translucent! Won't be going back. read more

Zero stars actually! My 15 y/o daughter wanted the top picture. She received the bottom. Can you believe this work was done by the owner??? Customer Service even worse after I went in to complain and hopefully get resolution on fixing this disastrous nail job. After 5-10 min of my complaining that my daughter was embarrassed & upset I was told repeatedly that they would not make this right (refund, redo, GC) they FINALLY caved and gave me a full refund and told me & my daughter to never return. Good riddens as this nail job looked like a 6 year old had done it blindfolded. My daughter posted this on her social media page and she got nothing but bad reviews from people on their personal experiences at DNA Nails. We will from now on see Tony at LA Nails in Pontiac or head to Bloomington. read more

I have gone here several times. Owners are always nice and offer free small bottle of water if you like. Have recently gotten a few new staff to help fill appts faster which is nice. I've never had an issue with service. My only issue is my friend and I often go in together for a girls day and though we always get the same thing, we are always split up her on one side of the room and me on the other, makes visiting hard other then talking across the room over people. read more

This couple took over the salon since October 2017 and everything changes so much better!!!!! They know how to take care of customers and make sure we are happy clams when we walk out. I went there couple times during holiday visits and every time was such a joy to have wonderful mani, pedi. People are very sincere and genuine and hard working. If you would like a 10-15 minute pedicure this is the place to go. These people only have a couple people in here working at a time and rush through everyone to get to the next. Sat in the chair for over 30 minutes waiting for someone to come and start, even with the sea salt scrub it was less then 15 minutes total. Horrible service but I guess it fits perfect in the town of Pontiac perfect. I will be looking into seeing what it will take to open one my self where employees will take the time to make someone feel like money wasn't just took out of there pockets. Don't waste your time been here 4 times now and I guess I have just been hoping for the same experience as the first time I came. read more

I always call to make an appointment. When I do as the previous person stated they rush through it and sometimes it hurts when I am getting my nails done. I don't understand why they don't speak better English as well. Don't appreciate talk in their own language while they are working on your feet or nails. Unfortunately Dustin H does not know the people of Pontiac very well. They are very good hard working people. To judge a nail salon with the entire town is ridiculous. However the salon definitely needs some good nail technicians. read more

I was the first customer of the day, so there was no wait. Got a gel manicure which turned out nice. The woman doing my manicure did make one cuticle bleed a little. I was originally going to do regular polish and had picked a color, but then I changed my mind. The woman asked, "same color?" I said yes, and she grabbed the gel bottle. It wasn't actually the same color, though. It was a couple shades darker. I didn't say anything about it because it was still a nice color. Staff was friendly enough but quiet. The salon was not very quiet due to a TV playing "The Price Is Right" quite loudly. I guess that's relaxing if you want to remember your childhood sick days at Grandma's house. There was also some Celine Dion type music coming from the pedicure area. I noticed they had a couple small, pink pedicure chairs for little girls. Overall, wasn't great, wasn't terrible. Manicure took about 20 minutes. I would probably go here once in a while, but not often. read more
