With so much junk and disappointment out there, it's really refreshing to find DLawless. Have ordered from them several times---never been less than brilliantly satisfied with quality items, best pricing, and super fast shipping. While I might have chosen wrong for my application, DLawless prices are so reasonable, I can afford to make a mistake. No point in sending back, my mistake, use it later elsewhere. DLawless keeps shipping simple by using USPS, one - price Priority if it fits into that-sized box. I ordered 3-inch copper bin pulls, they look terrific on kitchen cabinets. Great value pricing with DLawless permitted me to experiment for huge problem I had with IKEA cabinets. For whatever reason, IKEA cabinet sides have dozens of holes. A few might be needed for shelf adjustment--certainly not that many. Nothing worked to off-gas that awful pressedboard smell. Internet showed many others with exact same problem. Then, I used blue painters tape to cover the holes. It stopped the bad odor, but looks-wise---not so good. So, finally, I thought of DLawless. I bought their truss antique copper screw. Each screw sits right in a hole, no tools needed, place to cover perfectly. End of tear-producing noxious, harmful smell. Thanks DLawless. Next, I bought cool industrial iron wheels so I can make a coffee table with that slab of black walnut I bought. Thanks DLawless. The quality of DLawless is great, what's more--it's faith-restoring when you're about to give up hope. Some catalogs have interesting stuff, but once ordered, items not as good as pictured. DLawless is not like that....they sell quality. Hefty, practical design, vintage look-- think of what it means. Instead of buying fiberboard, spend money at the secondhand store. I get it - the world has changed & businesses are suffering, but just TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!! Beware! Don't buy from this company despite low prices. Won't accept returns if package is wrinkled or opened. Charge high restocking fee on any returns. Paid $10 shipping for a few knobs to try for kitchen cabinets (which made them much more expensive). Plastic bag was neatly cut open to hold them up to cabinet. Company would not take back 2 days later. They said you can pay to ship back but no guarantee we'll credit you after you pay for shipping. I order hinges, received email that the color I chose was not in stock . Ok ordered another color . Received hinges and NO screws included . This is not a color of screw you can find at local hardware store . In description NO where does it say" screws not included". Who sells hinges without screws to mount them? Then in order to get the screws they want to again charge $9.99 in shipping, for .75 in screws . Won't be ordering my handles( possible hundreds of dollars ) for new kitchen from this company. We ordered 82 knobs and pulls for our new construction kitchen and master bathroom. We looked at LOTS of online and retail stores. D. Lawless has the best prices and best selection of the re-produced vintage hardware we were looking for. We ordered them on Thursday afternoon and received them via USPS on Monday. Super fast to the west coast! The package was well packed. Free shipping over $50 order. (Side note: I LOVE that they use the flat-rate USPS boxes. I wish more companies would take advantage of that service and the customer shipping fees.) Unfortunately, we had 2 knobs and 2 pulls that were damaged from the factory. I called D. Terrible customer service, was sent the wrong color I ordered, it took them a month to respond - they wanted me to send back the items (I had already put them on back in February) when all I asked for was a credit for the difference. Terrible Customer Service!!! I agree with previous reviewer. I ordered pulls for a dresser and the handle sat too flush on the drawer to use them. When I spoke to customer service they said I should have read the description. The description didn't say ANYTHING about how space you have between drawer and the pull. I understand having to pay the return shipping but they wanted $11 for restocking!!!! I paid almost $20 to return a $50 item. NOT the way to keep a 1st time customer. I'm going back to AMAZON. I ordered cabinet handles from D. Lawless at about 1/5 of the cost at the big box store. They arrived quickly, and the quality is good. I will definitely use them again. The only issue I had was that they used shredded newspaper for packing, and it made a mess when I was unpacking. I'll take the mess to save money though! read more
