We had the install! New Daikin side discharge AC along with Daikin 2 stage furnace - a complete…read moresystem installed from the ground up in a day, including tear down of our old units. Everyone in the crew was clean and neat in appearance and arrived right on time. They were coming and going throughout the day and there were a bunch of them, including Tony Lescanec and Jim Thomason, and they were all really great guys (I say "guys" because I saw no women on site). I'm the type that wants to know stuff and I asked a lot of questions. They were always courteous and friendly in answering everything I "needed" to know. After the install, they went over each piece with us, including the new fancy thermostat. The system is fantastic - it's so quiet - and it works great! I can't wait to see how it does during the upcoming HOT summer months. Btw, they left the area rather clean, save for a couple of pointy screws. Great work by the team from Roth Home. It was a bit more spendy than we had anticipated, but with their "free AC if you buy a furnace" promo and the lifetime parts and labor warranty, we were going with Roth!

Beware of Flat Rate Pricing There's a lot that can be said…read moreabout the service Roth Home offers, in terms of the timeliness and quality of their work. However, their flat rate pricing resulted in my wife and me paying $790.42 for an hour's worth of actual plumbing work for what turned out to be two simple tasks--removing and installing a new faucet in the kitchen sink and draining our hot water heater. Roth Home's initial price for the faucet repair was $878.24. They also drained the hot water heater while they were here. We did not ask questions about what was involved and how long it would take (our mistake). When we questioned the charges after the work was done, we were given a 10% senior discount. Later they said we weren't charged the usual fee of $336 to drain the hot water heater. According to them, we were "only" charged $790.42 and received a "savings" of $423.82. Our recommendation is to ask questions and proceed with caution. Document what you are told (and by whom) and how long any work takes.

I called Evergreen a couple of months ago because of a corroded, leaky pipe in the basement. Peter…read morecame by, gave me an estimate that seemed reasonable, and did the work quickly and efficiently. This was no small feat given the weird crawl spaces in my basement, that he had to crawl into in order to replace some pipes. Somehow he was amazingly cheerful about this! Of course, given my 1890 house, fixing that pipe uncovered a clog further along in the pipes that was stopping up my sink. So today James and Mason came out, cleaned it all out, showed me what the pipes look like on their very cool camera device, and now everything works like a charm. I thought the prices were very reasonable, and the estimates accurately reflected the final cost. All along, everyone I dealt with was great, from Marcus on the phone setting up the appointments, to Peter/James/Mason doing the work at the house. They were friendly, professional, explained everything, left everything neat and took care of the small details, and were very nice to and amused by my dog, who was doing his best to "help" their efforts. Haha, "help." Overall, this is now my only go-to place for plumbing/drainage problems - which are likely to be a recurring thing given the age of my house. I forget which other maintenance person recommended them, but I'm glad they did. I've had leaking pipes in the past where the leak was so bad that the water had to be shut entirely off, and the companies I dealt with then could never tell me anything more than "well, we're really busy, we MIGHT be able to get out there next week" etc. It was always nerve-wracking, calling different places to see which ones could come out first. I can't imagine that being an issue with Evergreen, given how prompt they've always been.

Posting again as the 2nd review I did seems to have disappeared. I don't recommend this business…read morebecause the estimators/inspectors they have sent out have made too many mistakes. They misdiagnosed a sump pump issue (was electrical, not plumbing issue) and immediately stated I had to replace entire pump (was not the case). They provided inaccurate information about a pipe offset which did not need to be fixed and put together a job for rain drains that would never work due to slope. All in all, I feel this company is rather predatory and high priced as well, and now do not trust them.
