Nestled somewhat out of tbe way, the store stocked a good variety of quality health foods and supplements, including some rarer items that you don't see just anywhere (but which I really needed at the time). Plus, the staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the experience. So, just like that, I had what I needed and was back on the highway, freshly restocked :-) So, thank you, everyone at this store, for keeping me in healthy goodies in my travels. Naturopath Dr. Claiborne Holtzman works here and produces a health show on WHIG TV at 4 pm on Mondays called Remedy This Naturally (which is rebroadcast on Thursdays at 9 pm). You can also find the program on YouTube under WHIG TV's channel. He is available for appointments and can do hair analysis, iridology, and hypnotherapy. The associates and business owner alike are VERY knowledgeable in their products, which helps because when you first walk into the store there are an alarming amount of shelves and products on all of them. But they can navigate the store with such ease and finesse that even if you can't find what you're looking for, or are like me and don't even know what you're looking for but know what you need, they can lead you to it with pinpoint accuracy. Nothing beats doing business with someone who is proud and knowledgeable and stands behind what they are selling to you, an even bigger plus to the ones who actually have tried and used the products they are talking about. Those who find my other review for their other location may wonder why I favor this one more. It's actually because of that small, intimate space the store has where there's really just room for what you need, lined up and grouped on the shelves, helping you see all your options and alternatives right there before you. Steere's is located catecorner to the plaza that also has General Jackson's. For those departing Fort Bragg's gate, that means that Noah's store is on the left side of Yadkin Road. If you pass General Jackson's, you missed it. Steere's Nutrition is a small storefront, yet packs quite a bit of product. On my last visit to Steere's, Noah told me that he doesn't ship via online anymore, and primarily deals with in-store purchases. His markup is very reasonable, which is why I prefer to buy from him as opposed to a GNC or herbal store close to Cross Creek Mall. And plus, he's a straight shooter on all nutrition products.
