My mother recently called regarding selling her vehicle and was met with what I can only describe…read moreas extremely poor customer service. The representative she spoke with was impatient and dismissive, repeatedly telling her to "call back" in a rude tone rather than attempting to assist her. I would like to provide some important context. My mother is deaf and communicates through a sign language interpreter. Additionally, she is on the autism spectrum, which can sometimes make communication particularly spelling and verbal clarification more challenging. Given these circumstances, she may require a bit more patience and understanding during phone interactions. It was very disheartening that, instead of accommodating her needs or showing basic courtesy, the representative chose to respond with frustration and a lack of professionalism. Customers come from all backgrounds and abilities, and it is essential that they are treated with respect and dignity at all times. I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed internally. Proper customer service training especially in handling individuals with disabilities can make a significant difference in ensuring all customers feel valued and supported.

Genuinely one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. The woman answering the phone was…read morerude and impatient. I have no idea what could make someone come in with that kind of attitude so early in the day -- totally uncalled for. They lure you in with a competitive quote online, then hand you off to someone who acts like you're a bother for calling. If this is their front line, I wouldn't trust the rest of the process.

*************NO STAR ZERO STAR NEGATIVE 5***************…read more On Saturday 2/7/2026, I visited Hiram Clarke Road yard for center console. The price for a center console is $21.69 per their website. I spent an hour removing the console from the vehicle it was hard and laborious. At the check out window, the casher gave me price of almost $108. I know exactly their business model and it's unethical and borderline immoral. They insult the customer's intelligence by up charging them with their asinine verbal gibberish about wires, plugs, cables which is a part of the console and can't be removed. So the uneducated casher and her supervisor, both broadline illiterate tried to pull a fast one on me, price jumped from the advertised price for a complete console from, $21.69 to $108 dollars. Their logic is the price of $21.69 is for 1/5 of the console the rest is add on according to the mood of the casher and how much he/she like to embezzle/rob unsuspecting customer(s) that day. They treat you like if you are in a third world country with total arrogance, assuming that you are stupid customer. This so unscrupulous and borderline thuggery, robbing their customer in the open with full immunity. Absolutely no moral conviction as they lie about the price on their website and try to rob you at the checkout window. I just left the console and walked out. Wasted the unwarranted $5 dollars entrance fee to walk on dirty. Stay at home and buy on Facebook Marketplace or Ebay and save yourself the humiliation dealing with this unscrupulous so called business.

I loaded 8 burglar bars, heavy duty, gained muscle and strength onto my truck. Drove 41 minutes and…read morewas happy with the overall experience. I went for the C&D experience and I knew I wasn't going to get hundreds nor thousands for my items. All I wanted was the $2 bills for my money collection. I arrived surprisingly happy that the cars behind me gave me enough space while I had my tailgate down while driving relatively slow. That's a rarity when I have my tailgate up. Right when you take a right on SW Plaza you'll go down a curving road right smack dab into the cul-de-sac of C&D Metal and a vehicle impound lot. You'll see lots of cars parked in the cul-de-sac and a long line waiting for the "vehicle storage". Keep on trucking along into the C&D Metal yard. You'll see a hut with a young lady in it, you'll need to give her your driver's license, license plate id, the description of the items, and your address. Step out of the vehicle for this, she will make no effort. Are you new? Are you new? ARE YOU NEW HERE? You'll be slammed with this repetitive question if you are new to C&D. I couldn't get away from it. Now the lady in the hut may misinform you on where you need to go next. I was told to go to lane 1 inside the warehouse and that's where I met José. José, a very friendly Hispanic man that's very helpful and very detailed in helping customers on what to do next. Are you new? Are you new? ARE YOU NEW HERE? If that's not obvious enough, yes I'm new; José. It's my first time! Drive around past the hut, to the long blue scale, wait for the green light and proceed to the junkyard. I weighed at 4000. Verde ding! I met José and a massive pile of scrap, it was as tall as the sky. I offered to help, José unload; but he said he got it. That's just my personality. I made sure José didn't throw my walking sticks out as he didn't. Next you'll drive left of the warehouse to the next long blue scale. I weighed at 3620. Verde, ding! Park in the front and go to the door that's open. Here you will see a dark, dimmed, and rigged up counter. Where you'll not be able to see the cashier at all. It's a one-way mirror, reflective on side and transparent on the other. Is this a police interrogation?! The cashier was so friendly, she expressed how she wishes her customers could see her. There's a process you'll need to do before you get handed $2 bills. She'll ask you to take a picture through the webcam, scan your fingerprint, and sign. You'll need to do this, TWICE. For your records and theirs. Then she'll ask how you want your money, $2 bills or regular payment. I want what is advertised on the commercials and website. There you'll get a receipt, your payment, and a card to use again if you decide to come back. Are you new, Are you new, ARE YOU NEW HERE? The overall experience was outstanding! I will be back. The new location off of Reed Rd, will be more convenient and gas cost effective for me. It's opening Spring 2024 or sometime in 2024.
