Towing would arrive in 45 min 8am: Called them again to confirm and they never picked up. 820am: Called again to find out that the 1st tow truck had issues that were not communicated to ME and then they said 20 more minutes. ****** 840am: I called the tow truck guy and he never picked up 845am: Tow truck guy picked up he said in 45 minutes he would arrive. 930am: Never showed up, so I canceled it. Then he showed up after. Find another tow truck company that's reliable. Save yourself a headache. This is in a Sunday morning no traffic in Houston. The insurance provided a 1 to 1 1/2 hour pickup by Roadnet at 281-568-9500. They indicated that Suhaib Batainah would be the driver. I waited the 1 1/2 hours before calling the number that was provided (281-568-9500). A very rude man answered, and explained the driver was 30 minutes away. I waited more than 45 minutes and they never showed up. read more

My car needed a tow and roadside assistance assigned me this company. I was wary after reading the negative reviews, and was very proactive about calling. In the end, they were 1.5 hr late from their ETA which is not the worst compared to some of the others experience, that's after me calling 8 times in the interim, wasted most of my morning dealing with this, and threatened to cancel the service (and I meant it). I can see if the customer is not proactive the delay could have been much longer. The dispatch receptionists vary from rude to helpful-depending on who you get, but the driver never called once as promised. Ultimately, my car did get picked up and arrive at the destination safely, but the whole experience could have been much better. read more

They told me that it was my car and that I was wrong. Different year, different vin and different license plate. They would not return the vehicle that they brought. Absolute GARBAGE service. I'm giving it one star because it won't let me give them zero stars OR LESS!! I had a flat in a very rural area, and the vehicle I was in did not have a jack. I called Roadside Assistance through my policy with Progressive Insurance and was assigned these incompetent jackasses. I explained the situation, and the woman told me she would call me back, that the fact that I didn't have a jack was a problem. I found that ABSURD, but waited anyway. After an hour, she had not returned my call. I called her back and she insisted that she was "still checking" and would let me know. After ANOTHER hour, I called her back, and she hung up on me. I checked the status of my case with Progressive, and she had canceled my case!! At this point, it was 1am, and it was 39 degrees outside. Progressive attempted to connect me with another service, and low and behold... THIS JACKASS AGAIN!! I finally just paid a tow truck to drag me to a local WalMart where I bought my own jack and just changed my tire... after spending the night in my truck on the side of the road. DEPLORABLE service and absolute incompetence. I will NEVER deal with them again if I have a choice. What they did should be CRIMINAL. read more

HORRIBLE customer service! I needed a tow last night and the guy told me he was close. The truck did not fit so he left with no communication. I kept calling and was sent to voicemail every time. I called the main line and the guy was rude and lied about informing my insurance that they couldn't fit in the garage. I work in retail and customer service is how you KEEP customers! My insurance roadside assistance dispatched to this company which goes by Timewise Corporation at 6:15am on a Monday. After hearing nothing, I called at 6:30 to ensure they had received my information. The dispatcher confirmed they had and stated a truck would be here in 45 minutes. After hearing nothing at 7:36 I called back and nobody answered, but the driver called me at 7:38. I asked him when he would arrive and he stated that he was waiting for the rain to clear up and would be about 30 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes without hearing anything, I got fed up and got a ride to the parts store to get a $20 drive belt, fixed my car and canceled the service through my insurance's roadside assistance number. At 11:30, the driver called and asked if I still needed a tow. I will never be needing a tow from a driver who left me stranded because it was raining. read more

After 80 minutes, Acura called to be sure the car was in the process of being towed. It was not, so they called the tow company to find out the ETA. She (Acura rep) was told the tow was cancelled and then they hung up on the Acura representative. After arranging for a tow with another company, I called the tow company known as Timewise Corporation (with this same company's phone number) and the heavily accented man very rudely told me the tow was cancelled so call my insurance company to reschedule something. He then hung up on me. I called back and told the extremely rude man that I did not appreciate being hung up on, and why in the world was the tow cancelled because neither I nor Acura RA cancelled it. He said he didn't hang up, he answered another line; then he cursed at me, and hung up again. What a horrible man and business. read more

When I called to see why, the guy answer the phone in rage & was rude to me when I ask questions about what happened to them picking up the car. Tow Truck NEVER came! I called at 2 when my car wouldnt start at a shopping center parking lot. I was told that a tow truck would come at 3:36. At 3:36 they called to say they were 5 minutes away. 4 o'clock I call to confirm they have correct address, they said they did and they were on their way. 4:30 I call again now they're 16 minutes away. At 4:58 p.m. i had enough and cancel the tow. What upset me was they lied about the ETA and they were rude when I called to check on the tow. read more

I called around 9 got a message stating they were on the way even called me to ask what ws wrong. it is currently noon and they never showed up. They did inform me that they were 10 min away. Five minutes after I was off the phone with Insurance co. tow truck driver calls with an ETA of 30 min. 20 min later the driver shows up and with the correct equipment, two flat tires on the same side. Had me loaded up and on my way quick. The driver was VERY courteous, excellent driving skills and a nice guy to chat with. I would not hesitate to use them again. read more

I called my roadside assistance at 5:15am on today for a request for towing. I was told 90 minutes; after 90 minutes I call backed and was told to allow 25 minutes due to traffic the driver was on the way. I waited an hour called back and was told it was delay allow 15 minutes. I waited 30 minutes. I called my roadside assistance they contacted dispatch and the driver would not answer the dispatch call. Roadside assistance canceled the service request and put my tow request with another towing company. I would never in life use this company, this is the worst service I have ever received. I believe they had no plans on showing up. Do not use this company if you have other towing options. Based on the reviews it appears this is the norm for this company. read more

I scheduled to tow my car with Progressive Roadside Assistance (the night before) for 5:30am-6:00am. The tow driver texted me at 5:10am asking what was wrong with the vehicle and if it was parked in a lot or garage (was scheduled between 5:30-6am). I responded within minutes. I didn't hear back by 6am, so at 6:07am I texted him for an ETA. He said he had to drop another car off, and my car was next - 25 more minutes. I told him I had him scheduled between 5:30-6 and he replied "dealership open at 7." To which I replied "I wanted to be there before it opens." He called and said he would be there in 20 minutes. When the 25 minutes had passed from the time he said it would be 25 more minutes, I texted again saying "it has been 25 minutes." I then called him and he said he was at Buffalo Speedway and 59 (less than a mile from my location). When he wasn't there within 5 minutes, I called their main line and the guy put me on hold for over 5 minutes (he answered saying "Betts or Betz." I hung up and called Progressive, who was unable to help with the situation nor offer to call out another provider. I called the driver repetitively to which my calls got denied and went to voicemail. I gave up on the service and decided to find other more reliable means to get my vehicle to the dealership before I got too far down their service line. This whole situation completely affected the rest of my very busy and planned out day. The tow service representatives were rude, lied multiple times about their whereabouts and the amount of time they would be before arriving. Progressive should cut any and all ties from this service provider. read more

I called Progressive Roadside. I was told that these people at Roadnet would send someone out in approximately 1 hour. 1.5 hours goes by and I've called these people twice and they assure me that someone is on their way. I told them to please try to be here before Discount Tire closes and they said they would because there was plenty of time. I called Progressive to check on status and somehow, the automated system cancels the request. I frantically call Progressive. They call Roadnet and tell them to not cancel and to continue to send the driver out. But then, yes, wait for it...I get a text saying that it'll be another hour before they'll come out!!! I call Roadnet and tell them that I was promised by Progressive that I wouldn't be put at the end of the queue. The rep said the Roadnet guy even remembered speaking to me and that it wouldn't be a problem to send the driver right out. So when I call Roadnet and ask them to send someone out right away, and I admit that I'm impatient at this point, been waiting 2 hours, he says that I need to call my insurance carrier and get another tow company to come out!!! They should not be in business. They should expect to deal with frustrated customers. Most of their customers are people stranded because of car trouble. But to be given an attitude and to be left stranded and then to be hung up on, that just shows how unprofessional and uncouth these people are! Steer clear of this company, no pun intended. Tow truck never came. They will place your family at risk. Contracted with major vehicle manufacturers but don't use the technology. Lied to me for 10 (yes TEN) hours before I recalled the manufacturer to dispatch a different tow truck company. Give phone calls and promises of sending a truck, started at 8pm and ended at 6am, when driver said he could not find the truck. They had been sent GPS locations and photographs of the vehicle on a lit gas station forecourt. Numerous lies to me about they didn't know the location. I don't believe they ever tried. Beyond poor. Rude, discourteous, dismissive, and could not give a dam about the "customer". Luckily this was me and not my wife or kids left stranded for 10hrs overnight. If I could give a negative rating I would. My advice, if this company is your only option don't bother and push your vehicle to a garage yourself instead - it will be more effective. read more

Hmm guess I cant give 1/2 star. My wife calls Insurance company for roadside assistance. They let us know that the Tow Service will be there at 0738. I understand that is a hectic time with traffic and all so she waited until he was an hour late. She asked when he would be there and referenced the scheduled time of arrival only to be told, "I'm not an Uber driver. I am also not a Yellow Cab driver. We don't do appointments." Upset, I call and ask for management, only to be laughed at and told to have a nice day. I promise to spend the rest of the day visiting every website i can in order to leave a review so that someone else might see and use another service. My wife is pregnant and should NOT have to wait for some scumbag, over- the-phone trash talker for hours. All around terrible service!!! We wanted to cancel the service, but we didn't have to because he never showed up. We ended up calling Luis Wrecker Service in Houston and he was there in about 35 -40 min. I might seriously consider moving insurance companies if this is the kind of low life business partners they have. Don't use Roadside Express, or RoadNet or Roadline or whatever name these ignorant fools may be calling themselves on this particular day. I hope the owner reads these... Truly. Roadside Assistance assigned me this company at 12:30pm. ETA was 1:30pm. At 1:53pm I called Roadline for a status. The woman said they were running behind, would be 15-20 minutes more. Ok great, no problem. 2:40 still no show. Called Roadside Assistance who phoned Roadline. She was told the magical 15 minute line. I had little confidence that they would be here in that window since it was the same time given when I called almost an hour earlier, but I went on waiting. 3:30, of course no show, I again called Roadline. A curt man answers, "Hello". I gave my details, he looked up my claim and said, "This claim was a long time ago". I said, "Yes, sir. I have been waiting for over 3 hours". His response was, let me call my driver and get back to you, click. He never called back. At 4:30 I called and cancelled the tow altogether. I just cannot believe a company can handle their business this way. Fortunately I was not stranded roadside, but I lost a day waiting for this company and still have an immobile vehicle. I was told the name of the company was ROADNET, but the phone number ties to the one listed here under Roadline so just be aware! read more
