Korean steak rice bowl
Ma S.

I always stop at Charlton plaza on my way to Boston & love the Steak bomb #9 rice bowl. However, reminder to myself to stay away from the Korean steak on rice. It tastes nothing like Korean steak, frankly it tasted weird. Should have just stayed with #9.

How does it feel to know that D'Angelo has taken all his clothes off again? There's not too much to eat along the Massachusetts Turnpike without getting off and paying extra, so this little sandwich shop is very helpful and better than most. The main problem is the hours, because while most service stops have at least one or two places that are open around the clock, you can only get sandwiches here during your regular business hours, which makes it slightly less effective as a travel stop food destination.

Restaurant inside rest area on I90 mass turnpike

2 times in the last week I have came to this location asked for a turkey grinder hot on the grill they only toast the bread and everything else is cold. The girl at the counter is more interested in her phone and joking around with the cooks in the back who are to busy adjusting there hats due to having long hair and proceeding to continue making sandwiches with the same gloves that were touching their heads . I am very disappointed D'angelo's has gone very down hill over the years

This D'Angelo's located at the Charlton Service Plaza is our favorite restaurant to stop at if we are dropping by to use the restrooms. The food here is your typical D'Angelo's, but the prices are slightly higher. That being said, it beats the overpriced McDonald's. Every time we have eaten here the food has been made fresh and the quality is decent. The only additional tip I have is if you buy a fountain soda here then slurp it down, refill and go.

Only the lobster roll looks good

Pretty decent sub, got a steak and cheese and it was good! But a bit heavy on the bread, could have been stuffed more.

Only thing that is bad about this place (and it's really bad) is the actually physical location of this store. It's on a pretty busy street ( Brookfield Road or Stafford) a really nice sign to welcome You but there is only 1 handicapped spot to park - the other spots are for the remnants of an apartment .. that is on the opposite site / above the coffee shop ! Seems wild to have signed that lease truly - not even foot traffic can pass by here it's so strange ! The actual parking lot is down a set of steps way too treacherous in the winter or frosty weather and a challenge for those with physical limitations (maybe not handicapped ) but even so there's only ONE spot for the disabled and those stairs themselves are confusing to where they bring you to on the side - I was pretty sure I almost opened the door into Someone's apartment kitchen trying to enter this place from What I thought was a side or back entrance ( would make sense since the parking lot is in Ohio) All in all it's a lovely shop but I won't be back based on convenience to get to.

5 Stars for a TURNPIKE Food Court site…read more We stopped on our drive back home from Narragansett, RI. I was so pleased there was more than a MacDonalds in the very busy food court on a Saturday around noon. Ordered two small size Lobster rolls. Also came in medium and large size, but small ones were good for us. WOW! Surprise! We were amazed by the generous amount of lobster (mostly sweet claws) and the nicely toasted, buttered roll. Their 100% Real Lobster lightly tossed with Mayo on a bed of crisp Lettuce was a good value, especially for a food court. It was a nice lunch that was a bonus for us after eating outstanding lobster and seafood all week in RI. Also ordered a toasted Italian mix which was enjoyed by my husband. And a Veggie Sl which was also good. Most sandwiches come in three sizes. Excellent! Service was efficient and pleasant. There were a wide variety of cold drinks available. Papa Gino's was the next site.

The roll is grilled and it is so crunchy and buttery! The chucks of lobsters and lettuce on the roll is so flavorful and delicious! I can't even explain how kick ass this lobster roll is!!! To sum this up, this fast food chain should open in the nyc and it would make loads of money selling just lobster rolls. In some ways I have to say it is even better than Luke's Lobster. The freshness of the lobster and the hot, crunchiness of the roll is unbeatable!!

We entered and were immediately impressed by the decor and setting. You really feel like you entered a time capsule from a different era, everything is beautiful. We were seated in a cute little area. We ordered our drinks and we really wanted the fish chowder for our app, but they didn't have any (so disappointing). My husband decided on the chili and nothing caught my eye for an app, but I had some bites of the chili and it was very very good! For dinner my husband picked the Beef and Guinness Stew and I picked the Fish and Chips. My fish was very good, but it said it came with hand cut fries and there was no way they were hand cut, they tasted like everything other frozen fries I've had and they were really skimpy on the fries. My husband's Beef and Guinness Stew was awful, he said the meat was very grizzly and tough. We really enjoyed our experience dining in such a beautiful place, we might come back in the summer and give them another try.

I recommend trying the cocktail of the day, if you happen to be a cocktail person.
