After having gone through three other landscaping companies who were very unreliable, it was a gift to find these guys. They have been Lifesavers to us and literally cannot say enough good that would do justice. After our third company quit showing up, we called Barrera's for a quote. They called me back ten minutes later with a quote and I asked when they could come cut the grass....they showed up in less than five minutes!! While they were here, my husband decided to ask them about a ditch on the side of our property. (Because of all the problems with the other companies, this ditch had become severely overgrown with weeds so thick it broke our little weed eater.). They told us what they could do and would show up Monday, just a few days later. Sure enough, they came and worked so extremely hard to clear out the ditch and even hauled everything away. Their pricing is great value and transparent (and maybe lower cost than doing it yourself), communication before and after each service is superb, ease to do business with is second to none, and my lawn is already starting to recover after many years of neglect. During spring clean up they…read more"pruned" my hydrangea bushes without asking and did it way too late in the season so the bushes never bloomed which is really frustrating. The bushes they didn't get to before I intervened bloomed all summer long. They skipped our lawn mowing from time to time without warning and once sent an elderly gentleman to mow when they had missed. The gentleman didn't blow the grass cuttings off of the lawn and the entire yard died. They didn't check in with us about the mowing season ending- just didn't show up and when i messaged said they figured we were done with mowing since our yard was dead.
