One-Star Review

FPL disconnected the power so the exterior panel could be replaced. When the electricians finished around 3:00 p.m., they assured me that FPL would return within about an hour to restore power. After waiting for hours in a vacant house without electricity or air conditioning, I contacted FPL and learned that no reconnection order had been submitted. I had to request it myself and remain at the property until FPL arrived that evening.
After power was restored, the well pump ran continuously overnight. During the buyer's reinspection the next day, the pump was extremely hot and had very low pressure. It was determined that the pump had been running without being properly primed and had been damaged. Before leaving, one of the electricians had opened the well-system spigot, releasing the water and pressure, and the crew did not stay to verify that the power and connected equipment were operating properly.
When I reported the problem, owner John C. Lindor demanded inspection reports, questioned our evidence, and even accused us of providing a picture of a different pump. After considerable back-and-forth, he agreed to replace the pump and initially agreed to pay our qualified plumber to complete the work. He then backed out of that agreement and instead sent his own electricians to install the replacement pump.
The workers he sent were certified electricians, not plumbers, and had no plumbing training or experience. They did not appear to know how to properly prime the replacement pump and needed instructions over the telephone. They also refused to install the included pressure gauge, saying it was unnecessary. Because the pump was still not properly installed, our qualified plumber had to return to finish and verify the work. One of Wire It Up's electricians returned to observe the plumber and learn how to prime the pump correctly. When presented with the plumber's invoice, John C. Lindor refused to pay the full amount and offered to pay only half.
My concern is the poor coordination with FPL, the failure to verify the system before leaving, sending electricians without plumbing experience to install and prime a well pump, the improper installation, the accusations, and the refusal to honor the original agreement. For these reasons, I cannot recommend Wire It Up.
As shown on the photos, the electricians appeared to be struggling to install and prime the well pump, repeatedly consulting the instruction manual and relying on telephone guidance from Mr. Lindor.
