I pulled over in 90 degree weather and called my insurance roadside assistance and they original told me Pantusa Towing would be there in 2 1/2 hours. I called at the 2 1/2 hour point and they told me it would be another 90 minutes and I could call my insurance company if I didn't like it. Needless to say I did call my insurance company again and they told me they would call another company. VIP contacted me immediately and got to me quickly and even called to let me know they had gotten in some traffic but still should make it on time. Will let my friends know to call VIP if they ever are in a situation where their vehicle needs to be towed!

He already knew where that dealership parked cars for service. He got the car in place and showed me a cute trick where he could unhook the car using just the platform. That's the sign of an experienced guy. I always hate dealing with tow truck companies, but since Eugene is his own man, he knows the value of service. He said he'd wait for an extra $20, or he could do it without the key for $50. We tried that, realized it couldn't happen without absolutely demolishing my front lip, then he said just go get the keys. I went to go get them, and as I'm pulling out of my driveway, he calls me and says "I got it on. I'll meet you at the shop." We get to the shop and he I found out he towed it with the parking brake on and attached the tow hooks to my LOWER CONTROL ARMS. My bumper is hanging off at this point. I ask him how he got it on and he said he just slid it right under and pulled it up using soap and water to lubricate the wheels. Are you kidding me? He also didn't bring any wooden boards despite me saying multiple times to bring them, which is why my bumper is now hanging off my car. He absolutely destroyed the front end of my AMG and then tried to say it was no damage. I am this close to taking legal action against them. Haven't even inspected the control arms or drivetrain yet. I had a situation where a third party valet double parked my car in a handicapped spot - I had lost the key and the owner had just given me one hour to get it moved before he called the police to ticket and impound it. I called expecting that they wouldn't be able to make it to me in time considering I had only had 45 minutes at that point. One of Rob's guys, Dustin, showed up at the perfect time and saved the day. The first place we ended up had sent in an estimate that instantly deemed the car totaled, and they were about to have it sent to salvage. I posted in a local FB group for help because I was certain the car should have been fixable, but in calling around I hadn't found anyone who was willing to try. Chuck Bobinger responded to me and became the savior of this situation! He walked me through everything I needed to do. They fixed and replaced just what was needed mechanically and aesthetically, for a reasonable cost that ended up less than the settlement. The car was restored beautifully, quite literally "like it never happened." (One advantage of this terribly late review is I can attest that the car has been golden ever since and makes regular road trips.)
