We walked around to check out the damage--I had a very large sweet gum tree branch break off. On its way down, it knocked off a bunch of other large branches, ending up hanging in the notch of the main trunk. Will walked around, pointed out what they would do, step by step, wrote me a detailed estimate, shook my hand again and told me when they would be back. The crew came back late Sunday afternoon (on Father's Day!) to take down the big branch hanging from the main trunk so that it wouldn't fall. They came back on Tuesday afternoon and finished the job. Now, comes the best part! I came home on Tuesday expecting to see a big mess of broken branches, twigs and leaves all over my patio. Instead, I found that the backyard had been cleared of all branches and leaves; they even cleaned off the walkway around the side of the house. It looked better than before!

SI Arbor Pros is the best company to call if you need any kind of tree care services! When we…read morecalled Scott answered immediately, and when we expressed the concerns we had with our yard he made an appointment to come visit and give us his recommendations. The day after inspecting the yard Scott sent us a beautiful quote describing in detail every thing he was going to do and even included pictures of the areas of concern. The next day Scott and his crew (who were very professional and courteous ) came and took out two pine trees, treated 6 trees, trimmed a huge oak and fertilized some bushes, all in one day in extreme heat. Everything was cleaned up and hauled away by the end of the day. We felt Scott's quote was very fair and the service was excellent. We highly recommend SI Arbor Pros for any job large or small.

And most recently, we asked them to trim two of the large gumball trees in our yard, anticipating branches that looked likely to fall. In each of these three incidents, they were prompt in their arrival and brought a seasoned crew that worked together. They left the yard free of any brush. We found each one of our interactions with them to be excellent and we would recommend them without hesitation. (signed) Jane Cogie and Edward Brunner, 1010 S. Oakland Ave., Carbondale.

The service they gave was fine. The cost was ridiculous. I had bought a tree from Plantscape…read more Plantscape outside sources the planting of the tree to Schroeder Landscape. The tree cost $197. Schroeder charged $147.75 delivery fee for the 5 minutes I am from Plantscape. Then charged another $135 labor for 30 minutes. I spent more on the planting of the tree than I did for the actual tree. Plantscape told us he would let us know the charges prior to coming out. He did not. When he called, he said he had to plant the next day or it would have to wait until fall. It was our fault for not getting more information but felt like he could have explained his cost prior to us getting the bill and really felt like we were put on the spot to get it planted immediately.

Mr Sorrell Gillespie remodeled my kitchen during June - August 2023 and I want to warn other people…read moreabout his poor management, coordination, and communication skills. He replaced flooring, ceiling lights, installed cabinets and countertops, and kitchen appliances as well as breaking a wall into the adjoining room. On day one he told me to be ready for the plumber, and I was, and moved items out of the plummer's way only to have Mr Gillespie call me about an hour before the was to arrive to tell me that something went wrong and he could not come and that the electrician was coming instead. I had to rush and move things out of the electrician's way causing stress and frustration. This is an example of the entire timeline of the project. Terrible planning and crew management. On many days no one showed up until I called him and then they would show. On a few occasions no one would show up during the workweek without letting me know. When they removed the flooring they found extra layers of old flooring. They did not show for 2 days after their discovery then continued with the floor. At one point Mr. Gillespie showed me where the floor was not completely flat due to the extra layers and his fix of this issue and I thought this would be alright and something I could live with. Now I have many places, not just the one spot he showed me, where the floor is completely warped. On 2/1/24 one of the corners of the tile chipped off. Today is April 24, 2024 and the last time I asked him to come to evaluate the floor and what can be done was 2/1/24. I have not heard from him since and I wanted to be sure I gave him more than enough time to contact me before complaining about his bad workmanship and terrible management. And both myself and my spouse contacted him in February and we're still waiting for his reply. He stated he wanted to contact the flooring company to see if they still manufacture my tiles. We both have the texts in our phones to prove this timeline.

My yard was over-landscaped by the previous owners and the driveway has a carport so it's not the most accessible space. Ex-Tree came and took it all out in a few hours and also removed other yard waste we had from our DYI plant removals. The crew quick and careful, cleaned up well and not even a single flower in my yard was bent. I've been worried about that pear tree breaking and with the yews, depleting the soil around it. Now we're ready to rehabilitate the backyard and make it safe and functional. Ex-Tree competitively prices services and offers solutions, not just ala carte services.
