I commisioned Dalisa Fireplaces to both design and install a log burner in our home, replacing a…read morevery old, open fireplace. All aspects of design and installation were discussed and it became clear even at this stage that this company has a considerable level of expertese and experience in this field. This became even more apparent when the work started, efficient clean and a very high quality of finish. Fully qualified Hetas installers completely took away the hassle of building regulation and certification. Price, i struggle to use the word 'cheap', simply because nothing about our new log fireplace is, but the price we paid was extremely competative compared to others, in fact much less than others. All in all i would recommend this company unreservedly to others. Pete South tyneside

I thought I did a great job, until I got Love Floors to supply and fit my lounge dinner. WOW! talk about a professional job. Every man to his own trade. The finishing touched make all the difference. Most of the house has laminate flooring now and its all down to this company. I don't normally give reviews but these guys are GOOD.

I live in Lytham St Annes, Lancs, and could not find a local trade to take on a huge and very…read moretricky remedial job after the heating engineers I used on my new build had made a monumental mess. H&H were recommended by my solicitor, as she had just used them for her own home. They initially travelled 133 miles here to do a technical report for me on the original installation and then they returned - for a week, three lads away from home in the middle of winter - to replace my entire heating system. I now have a beautifully warm house, heating bills that are under control (the other system was costing me £350/month, it's now well under £100 in winter for a 145m2 property) and the whole thing does not bang, bubble, burp, smoke, squeak, drip or otherwise threaten to explode. I can finally breathe out. Thank you, H&H for rescuing me. A firm entirely made up of first class gentlemen, with a head honcho who has a planet brain for all things heating.

Top notch builder!…read more The process: I decided to extend the front of my house to increase my living area. CJK Builders came highly recommended by a friend of my sister. I received a very detailed quote and decided to go ahead with the work. Building work was completely contained on my property and the impact on neighbours was minimised. A lot of effort and attention went into the groundworks, structural alterations and brickwork - the building inspector made positive comments and noted that David, the boss, dealt with issues that other builders would apparently have just left (there was a steel beam in an unexpected place). Project management was excellent. As soon as one stage of the work was finished, the next stage started and I was kept up to speed throughout the process. The people: The core team were professional and friendly which is important when they are going to be around your home for a couple of months. Neighbours have also mentioned that the team were nice and friendly. All contractors were 5 star - all nice people that I was happy to have in my house and good at their trades. David had promised me my job would get 100% of his attention but I think it actually got 110%. He is a perfectionist and nothing was too much trouble. He was happy to discuss little details that he probably didn't have time for, such as where to put sockets, and also made suggestions, such as glazed internal doors, which I'm very happy with. Yes, there is an architect's plan and construction is a process, but the overall feel is that David appreciates that he is creating your home, not just a house, and he puts a lot of effort in to ensure you are happy with the end product. So, the end product... Internally, the house is transformed and finished to a really high standard. Externally, the house looks excellent and various neighbours have complimented it - can be summed up by the neighbour who described it as 'a cracking job'. The end product massively exceeds my expectations and I love it! Would I recommend David and the team? Absolutely!
