Much other evidence of hurry up and finish attitude. Issues were addressed a week later after several calls and waiting around for work to be completed again. Overall a very stressful , inconvenient and unimpressive experience. Felt our little job wasn't a priority . Would not recommend this company as they seem to have too much work to handle with reliable, satisfactory work for every job taken on.

Instead the Foreman running the job didn't share the same values as Jeff, He is actually a complete HACK and I would never let him in my home again. Jeff's price was by far not the cheapest but I thought it would be worth it for a job well done. Instead all the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC was done by the foreman who clearly has no business to be in that line of work. It was all done incorrectly, with many shortcuts taken. He also lied and cheated his way through every inspection process that clearly needed to be done. After many missed deadlines, a job that was estimated to take 8 weeks was stretched to over 20 weeks where I was finally forced to remove this company from the job and spend more time and money finishing with other contractors. After just a few short months I am already having issues with the work McDonald Construction performed.

One advantage they promote is speed. Traditional kitchen remodels can take months between design appointments, ordering cabinets, and contractor scheduling, so I understand paying more for convenience and a faster timeline. However, for comparison purposes, we ultimately completed our kitchen elsewhere. We selected upgraded features including pull-out shelves, pantry storage, lazy susan corner cabinet, garbage cabinet, and quartz countertops, and our final cost was $15,500 in total ($13,000 for the cabinetry + $2,500 for tbe quartz countertop). That means our quote from 10 Day Kitchen Solutions was more than three times higher, while still not including countertops or the appliances. This review is not about quality, we thought the showroom and products looked excellent. It simply came down to affordability and value. For homeowners with larger budgets who prioritize speed, this may be a good fit. For us as seniors, paying cash, and not financing, the pricing put it out of reach.

We were very pleased with Craig who assisted my wife in understanding the differences in the fabrics, their wearability, the anticipated delivery times, and who tolerated our slow decision making and the amount of time we held samples at home trying to make a final decision. Craig also kept us apprised of the manufacture's production schedule. The fellow who came to the house to determine the measurements was not only friendly, but also very knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge regarding proper installation methods and wear. With his input we were able to arrange to include two scatter rugs from the same bolt of carpet to be ordered. Finally, the installer, Justin, was friendly, and did a very professional job of removing the old carpeting and installing the new carpeting.
