They never sent me an email about the damage and never followed up after I officially complained about damage with the workers on site and they documented the damage. I have been a loyal Havelock Refuse customer for 32 years, they were an excellent service for my…read moretrash, grass and recycle picking up like clockwork until recently they partnered with Husker and moved my service to Friday which is the last day of the work week ( we all know how employees work on a Friday) and have missed my pick up more than 3 times already and of course being Friday it has to wait till Monday to be resolved, seeing several trucks drive down the street and alley looking like they don't know what to pick up, doubling the routes but yet still skipping some pick ups. Neighbors asking if yours were picked up, there's wasn't. Ever since partnering with Husker the quality of service has deteriorated severely! Seriously considering trying another service if don't improve in near future. My patience is wearing down.

Update: The trash bins have finally been removed! It took about two months total. I wish I could…read moresay they finally responded and apologized, had an emergency or whatever situation that prevented it from happening the first many times we reached out. Unfortunately no, I had to call yet again, left a voicemail informing them that my next call would be to the Better Business Bureau, with the disclaimer that I really didn't want to have to take that step on a locally owned, family business that many customers have been very happy with for so many years, and then a follow up email along the same lines. It would have been nice to hear something from someone, a return call letting us know that they were now coming to get them, or a return email saying as much. But no, none of that, just that the bins are now gone. So I guess that's that, no steps taken that would improve my original rating, but the bare minimum met after two months and a lot of hassle. Original Review: When we purchased and moved into our new house, there were four L&W trash bins outside that the previous owner apparently utilized, as they are quite full. We spoke to the previous owner to remind them since it was evidently an oversight during their moving out process. They said they would speak to the family member that I guess works for this company and made the arrangements to get four at one time, and have them taken away. That did not happen. So we called ourselves, let them know, it's not a big deal, but please come get them now. They said they do not service our street. We said we understand that, but the fact remains, that someone made arrangements to have so many trash bins here even outside of your regular service area, and we need them removed. Gave them the address, they said they would take care of it. That did not happen. Waited several weeks later, busy with moving and various new home tasks, no one has come to take the bins, or contacted us regarding the delay. So I called again, left a voicemail with a reminder of the situation, our address, my name and phone number, in case they had questions that needed answering in order to make this happen. Now that was more than a week ago, still no answer, no call back, and still four very full trash bins sitting and stinking in the scorching summer sun alongside our driveway. What magic words do we need to say for you to come get these trash bins?
