The rock is twice as big as the description and has a high percentage of red sand and dust that will wash away but I paid for in weight. By the Ton. The result is it didn't spread well because of bigger rocks and when the sand is gone I will have bare spots. There is no point to pay again to get the same results. I was told this is what you get by chance. I m actually still trying to make the yard look acceptable 3 days later. I ll know more after the next rain.

Nobody responded, and I made the third call after 3 days. This time I was told 25% useless product was not too bad because their policy is the customer can receive up to 50% fines (dust). Since the delivery fee is close to $100, make sure you order much more than what you planned keeping in mind it is common that 50% is not usable material.

During the monsoons last summer we had an ocotillo knocked over. We contacted a few landscapers to…read moresee if it could be saved and was told by one that drove by to see it that it had rotted at the roots and couldn't be saved. Luckily we were contacted by Isaiah Mendoza, Legacy landscaping and design. He came by and said he thought it could be saved. Along with his assistant they spent all day digging, separating and replanting 2 of 3 parts of the ocotillo. I'm happy to say the both sections have survived and showed growth throughout the summer. We then hired him to fix a small area of brick and railroad ties that were slowly eroding on our hill. He stopped the erosion and replaced the pavers and secured the ties with rebar. It looks amazing.

Seeing what good work he was doing we added on a hardscape pad for our larger BBQ. This all started with Miguel responding to my inquiry quickly and giving me an on-site bid within a few days. We discussed price and timing and he disclosed that he was expecting a baby and might need time off around that time. Our schedule was flexible and we were happy to accommodate the birth of his newborn son. We have lots of photos. You won't believe how much hair he had at birth! :) Way beyond doing a great job on the project, I found Miguel to be a good communicator, professional, intelligent, and thoughtful. He also has excellent taste in terms of what would look good and we nearly always deferred to his good judgment. I first noticed his thoughtfulness and his "eye" when he was trimming the Palo Verdes and the Elm. He's not a professional tree trimmer but he did an outstanding job! Our yard is now easy maintenance, but I'd use him again in a heartbeat!

Two hours before the scheduled appointment I received an email canceling due to family issues and asking me to send photos of the yard instead. I preferred to have someone inspect in person so we rescheduled for a later date. I received an email 40 minutes before the new appointment asking if we're still on. I replied yes. 90 minutes after the designated appointment time I got another email saying he'd just received my confirmation and could we reschedule again. I chose to cut my losses and have begun looking for another company.

We wanted our overgrown plants thinned and trimmed back. Instead, they were razed. We asked to have two volunteers removed. Instead, they were just cut back -- and the enormous roots were left for us. We paid for thoughtful service -- and instead, a bunch of idiots with high powered weed whackers turned up and destroyed our garden. They were a disaster. I was so excited to come home from home and find our courtyard looking nice -- and now I am gutted because it looks terrible. Do.Not.Hire. Oh -- and after I sent an email complaining, I received a reply saying that what we had gotten was what we had agreed to. What a crock. No one would have agreed to the disaster they left.

Transformers Landscaping truly transformed my mom's front and side yard. They were polite,…read moreefficient and were really easy to discuss the process with. After a fall in 2020 she needed a safe area to walk and move around. Her old yard was not that. It was uneven, littered with gravel and rocks and frankly was unusable. They relocated the landscaping gravel to the back of her property where it helped with erosion (and therefore saving on costs), they leveled everything out, and installed pavers & artificial turf. They took the time to put proper drainage so that there will be no flooding during storms and rebuilt her side gate so it closed silently and functioned properly. They also installed a custom bench on the side of her patio for extra seating. My mom is now safe to use her whole yard and they left the place spotless when they left. I would highly recommend Rick and his crew.
