These guys try to scare and intimidate you into spending a ridiculous amount of money to repair…read moreyour garage door during weekends and off hours. They wanted to charge me $350 just to get my door closed to keep rains out . This fee included no repairs. The next day I called another company and they fixed within a few minutes without having to replace any of the parts that precision wanted me to pay for.

NOT HELPFUL. LESS THAN ZERO STARS! DON'T USE THIS SERVICE…read more On 4/30/26, I called Precision Garage Door Service of Ocala, spoke with a sales/dispatcher person who could not give me, or refer me to someone who could give me, an estimate for a: 3/4 HPc, belt-driven Liftmaster garage door opener (with interior wall controller, exterior key-pad, and 2 remote controllers) and its installation. That's all I wanted, at the time. I was shopping around. Instead, she wanted to schedule a tech/installer to come to my house to give me an estimate. What? It's a joke, right? Why do I need or want that? How can the company stay in business doing that? Everybody knows that my request would be the minimum cost, because depending on other things, e.g., the status of the garage door springs, the cost would be more. Countrymens Inc. and RO-MAC, both, in Leesburg, FL will give you an over-the-phone or email estimate without an in-person, fee-based-visit, and/or they will send you an email message with an attached estimate/invoice. ------- On 7/17/26, Sat, about 11:50, the owner sent a response. Part of "Precision Garage Door Service of Ocala" response is below, NOTE the quotation marks! "Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.... As a service-based company, we do not maintain a standard price list for garage door installations (?) because each home and garage door system has unique requirements..." The owner's response above is so much "malarkey," for want of better terminology. I'D ASKED FOR A SPECIFIC ESTIMATE, THAT IS, THE COST OF REMOVING MY EXISTING GARAGE DOOR OPENER AND REPLACING IT WITH A LIFTMASTER 3/4 HP GARAGE DOOR OPENER AND ITS ACCESSORIES. FYI: 1. THERE IS, AND MUST BE, A DEFINITIVE/SPECIFIED PRICE FOR THE EQUIPMENT (in this case, A LIFTMASTER 3/4 HP GARAGE DOOR OPENER AND ITS ACCESSORIES). THIS MUST BE A GIVEN. 2. ANOTHER MUST BE/ GIVEN IS THE INSTALLER'S/ TECH'S WAGE/HR. WHAT ELSE IS NEEDED FOR A BARE MINIMUM INSTALLATION ESTIMATE? WE ALL KNOW THAT ANY WORK ABOVE/ IN ADDITON TO THE BARE MINIMUN IS EXTRA (e.g., replacing garage spring/s and/or pulley) ! EVERYONE KNOWS THAT! RIGHT? THE OWNER'S (Precision Garage Door Service of Ocala) RESPONSE IS INADEQUATE, UNRESPONSIVE, AND, IN MY VIEW, A DOWN-RIGHT A FRUAD-LIE! IF YOU CAN'T GET AN OVER-THE-PHONE ESTIMATE ON THE COST OF A GARAGE DOOR OPENER, REMOVAL OF AN EXISTING ONE, AND TECH COST FOR THAT, CALL COUNTRYMEN S INC OR RO-MAC, BOTH, IN LEESBURG, FL.

CALL COUNTRYMENS FOR A PHONE-QUOTE WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT AND EXCELLENT WORK !!…read moreQUALITY, COURTESY, AND REASONABLE QUOTES. (A company that won't give you a quote by phone, will try to fleece you.) In late April 2026, I called Countrymens Garage Door Service, aka Countrymens, Inc, and left a message asking about the installation cost of a Liftmaster 3/4-HPc, belt-driven garage door opener. Owner, John, returned my call within minutes, gave me a most reasonable estimate for a new Liftmaster garage door opener with installation and tax included, and said he could install the opener early AM the next day. At 8:20, the next day, Randy from Countrymens, Inc arrived, removed the existing MVP (The Villages) garage door opener and rail for my cart-garage door (7'H x 6.5"H), installed the new Liftmaster 3/4-HPc opener, rail, interior wall controller, and syncrhronized the remote controller, two-additional Liftmaster opener remote controllers that came with my other Liftmaster 1.0 HPc, Belt-driven garage door opener for my 2-car (7'H x 16'W) garage door, and installed the back-up battery to the cart-door opener. Everything worked, both openers and three controllers but the wall unit for my new cart-garage door opener. After numerous attempts and telephone calls for support, Randy and John decided to replace the new (faulty) 3/4 HPc cart-garage door opener. At 7:20 the following day, Randy arrived with another new Liftmaster 3/4-HPc, Belt-driven garage door opener, removed the faulty one, installed the new replacement, interior wall controller, and synchronized the remote controller and the two-additional Liftmaster opener remote controllers that came with my 1.0 HPc Liftmaster 2-car garage door opener. Everything works great. Randy also, informed me how to train/sync the opener to the remotes and keypad and maintain/service the door, rail, and drive-belt. All this took about an hour. After Randy left, I created new combinations for each door on the exterior Liftmaster keypad that came with my 2-car garage door opener. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND COUNTRYMENS FOR GARAGE DOOR OPENER: INSTALLATION, REPAIR, AND SERVICE.

Great communication with this company. I was told 4 to 6 weeks once the screen was order. It was installed in 3 weeks. great turn around time. My installers Johnathan and Dante were fabulous Arriving in the scheduled window of install. They were very friendly and polite. The install took about 2 hours with meticulous craftsmanship to make sure everything was installed correctly. Johnathan. did a great job explaining how the install went along the way and gave detailed instructions on the use of the screen for years of hassle free use. I would recommend these folks for your garage door and screen needs.

Fast forward to the day Tyler, the technician, came out to my house to do the work. At first I was pretty happy he called ahead to let me know he was coming but I quickly became unhappy when he told me the work was going to cost 16% more than the quote with less work being done than I was quoted for. Ultimately, this came out to a 32% price hike. What's more at the end of the whole thing Tyler tells me there are other things to fix that are directly attached to the springs he just fixed. Based on the quote/bill sheet those items would have cost me about $100 more had they been a part of a package, however he did not offer that and instead told me it would be $360 in parts, 108 in fees, and $115/hr of labor. (Min. Total $583) Tyler never ran my garage door after he fixed and "tuned" it. A big part of the problem was that a bracket was loose and one of the screws was on the floor. Tyler had noticed this screw on the floor but told me he didn't touch it because it was not one of his. I know this because when I called about the garage door coming off the wall and how there was a loose bracket he told me the exact location of the screw. He did no inspection of the work and my door sounds like it is going to break somewhere every time I open it. I regret having this work done
