Our daughter, who was familiar with the Athens area (she graduated from Ohio U.) told me about Sundown Garage. We quickly got a hotel room ( it was Father's Day' so not much was open). I called and left a message (they didn't open until 9M on Monday) and I called again the next morning. I was able to get the car down to them and spoke with Danny and Will. Will drive me back to our hotel, stopping at a grocery store on the way back to our hotel so we would have some food. The next day he picked me up and drove me down to Athens to pick up my car. This is the kind of service you hope for in our country, but is so rare. I thought the cost of the repairs was more than reasonable. I have always liked Athens (I grew up in Youngstown, but moved 8 times with my jobs) and if I was beginning retirement I might consider moving here, but I am almost 78.
