While driving on the highway, my car surprisingly blinked on the tire pressure light, and moments…read morelater, I was driving on a flat tire. Fun, right? Luckily for me, there was a state rest stop within feet, and I pulled into the rest stop. I assumed it'd be a super simple fix, but it turns out my car's emergency jack had gone AWOL. And it was pouring rain - in 25 degree weather. And I still had 5 more hours to drive. Just lovely. I looked up the nearest city, and it happened to be Famer City. Google directed me towards these guys as the tire experts in town, and I called up about whether they could send someone to help me change out my flat. They said "definitely", and within 15 minutes, they'd brought out a giant mechanic's truck full with all of the supplies they needed to change a flat on the go. The mechanic did it all without complaint - even in the frigid, chilly rain - and gave me advice about finishing the drive on the spare. He had it done within 10 minutes. It was $75 for the service, which is my only complaint, but they honestly turned what could have been a terrible nightmare into something that was barely an inconvienence. So thanks for being there to help me out of a bind, guys.

It was odd and semi rude but I ignored it and was friendly and turned the keys into the lady at front - She seems extremely rushed or annoyed. (maybe too busy or short staffed)? A telephone call came thru and I needed to ask about an alignment. I waited. After she hung up I asked about a alignment and balance- and she snipped and said "It HAS to be scheduled!! Its 80.00) I said OK and she walked away. I waited by the window again to go ahead and help my mother in law actually schedule the alignment as she was in the restroom at the time. I saw her walk to the back office annoyed for some reason (probably to complain to the guy in back office- blue shirt and one with grey sweatshit on)- who walked thru mumbling something like "it has to be scheduled.." (Note: We all already knew that and simply stood there to schedule it!) owner, staff and front desk lady must not have liked that I was waiting at window to schedule and started yelling at me! (My mother in law and I were extremely shocked) and advised her I was jot being pushy and just asking to schedule an alignment for my mother in law). We both ended up sitting down after this traumatic behavior and customer service. Sat there a while and then the front desk lady brough a book over and asked my mother in law to schedule alignment. It was all very orchestrated, rude and ridiculous but understand things get tense at times. As someone who has actually worked in a tire/muffler and oil change shop as a front desk scheduler, and receptionist/check in person I would have NEVER behaved like that to ANYONE (nor would have the owner/staff encouraged it all). - was the perception. Maybe scheduling, staffing or time mgt is an issue at this location but it was very unprofessional and rude and NOONE including ME or my mother in law should have been treated that way. Ridiculous especially for a small town where everyone clearly is related to everyone or knows people.

When my wife or I would bring our cars in for routine maintenance we would get a call saying that they found other problems that should be addressed and since they had the car apart it would be less expensive if they were addressed now. The suggested repairs they estimated were three times the cost the car was originally brought in for. I would ask if they thought it was critical and they would say it should be repaired like I didn't have a choice. The first time this happened I thought well I have been coming here for 20 years they must be right so I went along to the tune of $2500+. A year after this I brought the same car back in for the rear brakes, and I again get a call that says they found more repairs that should be done about $1700.. This time I was really perplexed as the car was just repaired a little over a year ago why all of a sudden is it needing so many repairs and why didn't they find these new repairs a year ago? So I asked the service advisor and the answer I got is this is part of their Courtesy Check practice which according to the shop manager was started 4 years ago. I asked them to please stop the practice as I was not interested in their constant barrage of suggested up-sales. I also said if they didn't stop I would not return. The service advisor replied that it was store policy and he could not do that. The shop manager also said the same. So I told them that I would not be coming back.
