Professional, prompt & great pricing. The owner Carl & his crew were very easy to work with.

He also walked around the house with me pointing out a few things i overlooked, he definitely knows his stuff. Bill and his crew started the roof few days later, did an excellent job. Kept everything pretty orderly, cleaned up after themselves and made sure to do a walk around with me prior to leaving. Im definitely passing on his contact info to any of my friends looking for the same work to be done.

One week later Bill brought his foreman Paul out and they reviewed the job again, no mention of any change to the agreed contract and I gave Bill a deposit of 50% of the agreed price. 5 weeks from the signing of the contract Bill called and said he was sending me something in the mail. When I asked Bill when they woulkd be doing my roof he hung up. 6 weeks from the contract signing I received a letter from Bill that he couldn't do the job for the agreed price because he underestimated the job by 64%. He did return my deposit. I called Bill but he wouldn't answer. I have a hard time believing that a man that's been doing his business for 40 years can under estimate a job by 64% and then not have the integrity to tell me when he called me.

The supplies (13 windows and a house full of siding) were dropped off in the middle of my driveway during a snowstorm. The 1 man doing all of the work by himself didn't show up for days. My husband had to move 13 windows and boxes of siding by himself in the snow because my car was trapped inside my garage by the supplies. I had to call multiple times to see if anyone was actually coming to do the work while the supplies were sitting out in the snow. Very long story short - the work finally was completed around the end of January 2023 and at that time, everything APPEARED to be fine. The first piece of siding fell off in March 2023. I had to call three different times and was given the run around each time. I finally had to pay someone to come put it back up. The second piece fell a month later - of course this company doesn't answer my calls now, so once again I had to pay someone else to come put it back up. Apparently the 1 person doing all of the work by himself cut the siding tops too short and that's why it isn't staying up??? Now, its March 2024 and ANOTHER piece fell off from above my garage AND the rest of it is now WAVY! I wish I would have just gone with Mays Contruction like I was going to originally, they were cheaper but because I met Clear Vision Windows & Siding at a local Home & Garden Show & they came to my house with a whole set up and very thorough sales pitch, I THOUGHT they would be a better choice - boy was I wrong.

Had Mike come out to cover up a window…read more Honestly the thought of getting rid of a window never crossed my mind and we initially thought we would would move our window from one wall to another to open up the living room space since we have a living room layout that is a bit awkward. He came in with the idea of just covering up the window (especially since a window can be installed later if we wanted). Instead of making it a bigger profit job he focused on what is best for the layout even if it meant the job was smaller. The conversations with Mike have been very thought provoking and really made me focus on what is best for us rather than him just doing what I thought we wanted. We asked about a skylight for the bathroom since both our bathrooms don't have windows and he said he wouldn't as its the number one cause of leaks so he once again showed that he cared to make sure we are after peace of mind. So we ended up just covering up one window to move our entertainment center. He hired a drywall contractor (one with 42 years of experience) to make sure the wall looked seamless. Mike said you can do most of the job yourself pretty easy but the Dry Wall part is a work of art and it showed. I had a unique idea that since this was an exterior wall I wanted to build a PVC shoot for cabling for future proofing a TV hanging on the wall in case we had to change cables. The drywall contractor made it look so clean. Initially it was a 1 day drywall job but because it was cold the mud wouldn't set in time so they came back the following day to make sure it was done right. Truly couldn't be happier with the quality of labor. Mike's scheduling might be a little random at times but rest assured the quality is superb.

I reached out to a number of companies, but Mike spent the most time with me on the phone, talked through all options, which one he thought was the best one and why. He wasn't the cheapest quote, but the slider he recommended was the highest quality out of all the other quotes, and with something I use multiple times a day, it seemed worth the investment. While the slider itself is amazing, the best part of the investment was the attention to detail and care Mike had for install- I have a 1920s home with original wood trim work, but in the addition where the slider is located, they put up standard white 80s trim. My plan has been to transition the addition over to the same feel as the rest of the house, so Mike custom stained the one I ordered to match what was already in the house, then took the time to trim it out in the same Craftsman style for a cohesive look. Install day was super easy, the team made sure everything stayed clean, and dealt with some surprises and challenges with the uneven walls of an old home. This is someone you can trust and will make sure they care for your own home like it's their own. When it's time for new windows, I'll absolutely have them come back out.
