Great atmosphere and delicious food. Very accomodating considering we did not have a booking on a busy Friday night.

What a wonderful evening we had here…read more One of our group was wise enough to book this and well done to them indeed. It's hard to praise this establishment enough. Every dish in the degustation was outstanding. My words couldn't possibly do them justice so I simply say just see the photos I've posted. This is fine dining of a high order without a ridiculous price tag attached. Every single dish and every mouthful was delicious. The accompanying wines were excellent too. We were allowed to take our initial tipple in the tasting room. Not only was a delicious sparkling brought to us, but sparkling water too. It was all up from there and as I've mentioned, all dishes were superb. The service from the lovely Bec was fantastic as well. Wonderfully friendly and superbly efficient. Service of the highest order indeed. (And our thanks to Toby cakes too who picked us up in town and dropped us back too). Our group of five had such a great time at the Terrace. Don't hesitate to come here. It's excellent. Thanks again. This is how all good restaurants should be.

Day 1 - We had a very enjoyable lunch for two comprising the "Pickled Sisters Vineyard Platter"…read more - with Rutherglen Muscat & chicken liver pate, homemade chicken terrine & chutney, smoked salmon with herbed sour cream, spiced eggplant, Gooramadda olives, Milawa cheese 26.50 - plus Formichi prosciutto & salami, smoked salmon & horseradish mousse, Boosey Creek cheese, mushrooms a la grecque, Wicked Virgin extra virgin olive oil & more! 40 Day 2 - We returned the following morning to collect the wine selection and paused for a enjoyable coffee in the cafe. On both visits, the service was friendly and efficient. I could not fault our Vineyard Platter in presentation or quality.

So I decided perhaps I would just take a seat and wait to be waited upon, as there was no sign indicating which was the appropriate action. Whilst waiting I was finally noticed by one of the staff, who approached me and asked if she could help me. I then asked if it was ok to sit here and she waved her hands and shook her head and said no we are fully booked. Please note that there were no signs anywhere indicating this let alone reserved signs on any tables. I left feeling very embarrassed, as if I had just been thrown out. Just a word of advice. Please be pleasant and perhaps place either fully booked out signs on the doors or at least on the tables. Very disappointed!
