10/10 - it's probably the best hotdog I've ever had in my life. It's a MUST TRY when you visit CPH. There are 2 DØP hotdog stands that about 3 minutes walk away from each other. The other location is right by the Round Tower. At this location, there are few benches nearby where you can sit down and enjoy the your hot dog. I got the Roasted Hotdog (Danish flavor) with the choice of goat sausage). The whole grain bun was amazing - crisper and lighter. Glad I chose to get all of the toppings ( traditional) to enjoy the authentic taste. It's cheap and delish. I went on Ascension day so the street was empty and there was no line :P

The original dog but with a spicy hot dog

By far one of the best hot dogs I've ever had. The snap, the flavor, and the overall quality were on another level, absolutely delicious. Big shoutout to the employee who helped me out when I couldn't decide; she recommended the spicy dog and it did not disappoint. Friendly, helpful service like that really makes the experience even better. The stand itself is conveniently located right in the middle of Strøget, which made it the perfect little break during a day of shopping. Great food, great service, and the perfect spot to recharge, I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in Copenhagen.

Best hot dogs in Copenhagen? Hardly! More like best hog dogs in the planet. Amazing food

Have pedestrian plaza, hot dog cart will follow. This seems to be a rule around the world and Nordic countries really put effort into their hot dogs. DØP (Den Okologiske Polsemand, "The Original Sausage Man") has a reputation for being one of the best hot dog stands in the city, and it's not hard to see why. Their classic dog, a well spiced and finely minced bright red sausage, is topped with ketchup + spicy whole grain mustard + remoulade + fried onions + fresh onions + pickled cucumber on a grainy bun. There are options for other styles and sausages (including a veggie one) as well It's a contender with Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur in Reykjavik for the best hot dog I've ever had

Very courteous service at this location and savory hot dog. Located centrally, you can enjoy your hot dog while walking the stores or just sit at the benches next to the truck.

Nothing exceptional but nothing bad about this place either. It is a food truck that serves various kinds of hot dogs. This is a good option if you are strolling along the Strøget and want to try a good Danish hot dog also called Ristet Pølse.

Had super high hopes for DOP and getting a hotdog shortly after arriving in the area. The food in the end was very fine. We grabbed two variations, both of which were fairly standard hotdogs in sauces that at least I found interesting. Not sure what the hype overall is if you've ever had a hotdog before. The location is in a super touristy area which is a bit of a distraction. The menu is extensive so hopefully you'll find something interesting, but not sure I would need to come back. The drink options were also fairly limited and not ones that I was too keen about.

ONE OF THE BEST SAUSAGES/HOT DOGS I HAVE EVER HAD! I'm used to eating sausages and hot dogs being from the US and usually ours are very simple with a couple condiments. What I appreciated about the hot dogs here is EVERYTHING that comes on it. It had spicy ketchup, pickles, fried onion and regular onions. The sausage itself was delicious, the bread was soft and all the elements came together perfectly. You cannot go wrong with getting one of these! I will come here again and again whenever I visit Copenhagen.

Stationed at the heart of strøget, DØP serves as a nice snack break for some authentic Dutch hot dogs --vegans and non vegans combined! As soon as you place the order, they prepare you one in front of you, so you're set to enjoy within seconds. Although they don't offer any seatings, there are plenty of benches next to the truck for you to enjoy ASAP. I got the ristet hotdog, which is their roasted hotdog, with vegetarpølse, or the vegetarian sausage (that's also vegan). I was quite surprised by how small and not hot it was, but it was still super flavorful and delicious without being overly salty. The pickles tasted freshly made, and I particularly enjoyed the fried bits of onions (I think) topped on the hotdog. I'm not the biggest fan of sausages, so I am inept to distinguish how different this one is from non-Dutch sausages, but I enjoyed it as a nice little snack!

As an American, hot dogs are practically a food group for me & soon after booking my trip to Copenhagen..I found DØP online. The numerous youtube videos and instagram posts got me curious & I made it a point to try them out. Despite the rain that tried to foil my plans for DØP...I was able to easily find their cart and quickly get my hands on a roasted hot dog. Pardon my dramatic emphasis, but this hot dog was the BEST HOT DOG I've ever had! Quality and flavor profiles are unmatched by anything the good ol' Oscar Meyer can offer. Portions are a bit smaller..so think snack or small meal at best. That roasted hot dog with remoulade, fresh and fried onions and pickles is one that I will not forget. Thinking about it now has me wondering how I can get myself back to Copenhagen & back to DØP.

Hot dog with everything on it!

There are a lot of different hot dog stands in Copenhagen and I have to say that overall, this is my favorite hot dog stand. Coming from the United States, I have never been super into hot dogs (even though Americans do love them). However, I had heard so many great things about the hot dogs in Copenhagen that before coming to Copenhagen, I knew I had to try the hot dogs here. Now, I am a hot dog person. The first hot dog I tried in Copenhagen was here and I loved loved loved it!! It was beyond delicious! I got a hot dog with everything on it and it tasted like heaven! When you come here, get the hot dog with everything on it..you will not regret it! It was amazing and after I got my hot dog I just walked around and shopped. It was so nice to just be able to carry it out around and get it while shopping. This stand is in such a convenient location. If you are ever in the mood for a hot dog, you have to come here because these are honestly and truthfully the best hot dogs in all of Copenhagen.

My favorite hot dog stand in Copenhagen! And that says a lot because they're EVERYWHERE! This one has higher quality ingredients, and you can tell! I love the hot dogs with everything on top... pickles, onions.. everything. So yummy! They are pretty small, so more of a snack than a meal. But so great! Highly recommend grabbing one while you're walking around Copenhagen.

Classic hotdog "med det hele" (no onions!)

First things first: I may be biased due to my love for hotdogs (who's to say they weren't - subconsciously - the main reason I moved to Denmark?!). After walking past this stand about a bazillion times, I finally stopped for a bite today. Yum! I went for the classic hotdog "med det hele" (except raw onions, because bleh!) and it was really good. Nice sausage, delightfully spicy mustard, the regular other toppings - can't go wrong with that. What really stood out was the bread, which was nice and "grainy", with a good bite to it. It's also the main reason you're not hungry again after 30min, because it's certainly more filling than the standard white stuff you usually get. Recommended!

I got the classic hotdog with all the topping and it was great! And the hotdog had the perfect crunch to it. I would definitely recommend.

Alarmingly, the staff seemed familiar with the thief/theft, even conversing with him in Roma, and appeared more upset with us for expressing our distress than with the situation itself. To make matters worse, the chef was confrontational and lacked empathy. If my customers were robbed in my establishment, I would be deeply embarrassed and would prioritize assisting them instead of responding aggressively. I was unable to pay for our meal because my device was taken, yet the restaurant insisted on charging us the full price, which we observed another patron pay. They did not contact the police or report the theft. Instead of providing assistance, we were asked to leave while the thief was allowed to walk away, despite three witnesses confirming he was the one responsible. Afterward, we approached the police, who informed us that such treatment of customers is unacceptable and raises serious safety concerns. I strongly advise potential diners to reconsider their choice of restaurant. While the food may be enjoyable, the treatment of customers left much to be desired.

It's coop, it's extra!…read more It's bigger on the inside! No, I kid you not - it's true. I was skeptical when I first went to this supermarket since it looks so shabby and without hardly any windows on the outside, but once you get in, you realise that it's one of those big supermarkets that are pretty much sell everything that you need. Vegetables, organic vegetables (ekologiska, obviously), fish, tons of fish, cheese, butter, meat, gluten free and lactose free products (since we're talking about Sweden) and other household stuff. They have also aisles for imported products - I saw a lot of obscure products in Slavic languages, Reeses peanut butter chocolates and Guiness chips and some fancy microwave popcorn. They have also pretty decent aisle full of Asian stuff, including bambooshoots in cans - that pretty much exist only in Asian shops in Copenhagen. They have good brand of coconut milk (not just the weird Santa Maria or whatever it is called now), rice noodles, egg noodles and pakchoy on the vegetable rack. Ah Sweden, you're the best when it comes to supermarket. Danish ones can't really beat it, not even big warehouse-like one like Bilka. The location is pretty convenient as well, just across Värnhem, sort of smaller bus station where you do your switches if you are not lucky enough to ride buses without change from/to home/work. This has quickly become my supermarket-to-go during my stay in Malmö.

Next to the latter is a whole refrigerated case of Astrid och aporna products as well as a variety of vegan cheeses and spreads. Really impressive selection all around. I am also surprised by how much stuff they have for pets. Of course with all Swedish supermarkets, the alcohol department is lacking. The price is in line with ICA, maybe some things are a little more expensive, but Coop seems to have more variety.
