To Mr. Tenenbaum and Jessica,…read more I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank both of you for everything you've done for me throughout this journey. I truly don't have enough words to express how grateful I am. When I first learned about my 2019 case, I honestly felt like I had no hope. I thought my only option was to surrender and go to jail. I had almost given up. But after speaking with Mr. Tenenbaum during my consultation, everything changed. You didn't just offer legal advice--you gave me hope. I'll never forget when you told me that there was no reason I should have to go to jail after all the progress I had made in my recovery and sobriety. Hearing that gave me the motivation to keep fighting. Instead of accepting what I thought was my only option, you found a better solution that allowed me to continue my recovery while serving my sentence through house arrest. That has truly been life-changing for me. It means I can continue working, going to college, and staying on the path I've worked so hard to build. Even though I live in Los Angeles and your office is in Merced, the entire process was smooth from beginning to end. Jessica, thank you for always being so kind, consistent, and quick to respond whenever I had questions. I know Mr. Tenenbaum has a busy schedule, and having someone like you keeping everything organized and making sure I stayed informed made such a difference. I also really appreciated that you took the time to give me a consultation before I made my decision. It showed me that you genuinely cared about helping me understand my options instead of making me feel like just another case. Mr. Tenenbaum, thank you for believing in me and advocating for me when I felt like no one else would. My public defender wasn't willing to fight for the outcome that gave me the opportunity to keep rebuilding my life, but you were. That advocacy changed the direction of my future. Thank you both for your professionalism, your compassion, and the hope you gave me during one of the hardest times in my life. I will always be grateful for everything you did for me. You didn't just help resolve my case--you helped protect the life I have worked so hard to rebuild. With sincere gratitude, Serena
