Maybe 25 min to Victory station? I wasn't timing it. But it wasn't bad at all. They have a kiosk which is super way to use, and it accepts credit card. It prints you passes right there and only takes a minute. Be sure to collect your tickets prior to the train coming. Buses 400, 488, 531, 535, and 544 all serve the Farmer's Branch Station. The station is literally on-campus, so you can get to and from North Lake without having to battle traffic. There is also a medium-sized Park 'N Ride lot, where you can park and hop on the train to get where you are going.

This is the closest stop to the Toyota Music Factory, the Irving Convention Center, the Los Colinas apartments, the deceptively named Marriot Dallas Los Colinas, and an easy walk once you learn to look at a real map instead of following Google Maps walking. There's an overpriced convenience store right by the station. In fact everything around this station is very overpriced, so it's a useful station if you're staying in one of the nearby hotels. DART is so affordable, get a day pass to get to the museum district in Dallas, and along the Orange line there are many much more affordable better restaurants than in and around the hotels. Also, this is the way to get to and from the airport though no locals, hospitality workers, or travel guides seem to know about it. From here, right into Terminal A, no hassle at all for a fraction of the Uber price.
