Nice and useful station on the Orange light rail system. This is the closest stop to the Toyota Music Factory, the Irving Convention Center, the Los Colinas apartments, the deceptively named Marriot Dallas Los Colinas, and an easy walk once you learn to look at a real map instead of following Google Maps walking. There's an overpriced convenience store right by the station. In fact everything around this station is very overpriced, so it's a useful station if you're staying in one of the nearby hotels. DART is so affordable, get a day pass to get to the museum district in Dallas, and along the Orange line there are many much more affordable better restaurants than in and around the hotels. Also, this is the way to get to and from the airport though no locals, hospitality workers, or travel guides seem to know about it. From here, right into Terminal A, no hassle at all for a fraction of the Uber price.

The station is literally on-campus, so you can get to and from North Lake without having to battle traffic. When I was there on a weekday evening, it wasn't very crowded, and the group that gathered looked to be a mix of professionals and folks trying to get to the State Fair. The station is clean, and security cameras can be seen everywhere. Whether they work or not is another story. One big peeve I have is that the Park and Ride is not clearly marked. Turns out, the park and ride is ACROSS the street from the rail station, and you have to cross the busy street of Harry Hines. I literally saw my train come and go as I was waiting for the light to turn on Harry Hines to cross over to the rail line. Waited another 30 minutes at a deserted DART station for the next train. Not fun!
