I scheduled an appointment for 1:30 PM hoping I would be seeing Dr. Pothuri. I received an email…read morethe day of the appointment stating that I would be seeing a PA by the name of Albert Tao instead of Dr. Pothuri needless to say I was disappointed but I wanted to see someone that might be able to help me with a gastro concern that i had. I arrived early and was looking forward to see if they could help. A nurse's aid by the name Olu Lawrence took me back and she started the normal routine questions of what kind of meds i was taking and she started going over my past visit back in 2023 so I was hoping she would eventually get to the reason I was there today but she stopped and said I will be back in a second. Fifteen or 20 minutes later she comes back in and apologizes for being gone so long and starts going over my meds again at that point I was losing it so I asked her if she even knew why I was there for the appointment. She said yeah you are here for a follow up from 2023. During the whole time that I was there she not once asked what my appointment was for and what concerns I had. So I told her about my email where the PA had been swapped with Dr Pothuri and she said I will get the PA so she left and came back with the PA and that was a useless conversation with the PA because he seemed less interested with what my concerns were. Not once did they take the time to check me out physically at all. The PA did a search on the web and recommended an over-the-counter supplement and then said we will see you back in six weeks. It felt like the parents had gone shopping and left the teenagers in charge. When I checked out I requested a summary of my visit hard copy and what the nurse assistant wrote on it was that I was there for a constipation issue which was totally incorrect so that just compounded on the aggravation that was building up with the unprofessional doctor's visit I was having. Dr Pothuri has been my gastro doctor for years and I have no concerns with him. He has not from my experience had a good staff in his office consistently. I was very disappointed with the way this appointment went and will probably look for another doctor to help.

She was very short, asked questions that I had already answered on the forms. The tech told me the doctor would tell me where to go for the procedure and what time to be there but she didn't even do that. She was supposed to be sending a medication prescription to my pharmacy, it's been almost 2 weeks and they still don't have the prescription. I am not very confident in anything or anybody at this facility.

She was recommended to me by my primary as it is who she uses. Her office isn't huge or fancy but I'm ok with that. She is direct and gets the job done. If you want warm and fuzzy, she may nit be for you. My husband has also seen her and likes her too. She has a new male nurse that is really good. A few months ago I was scheduled for my procedure and it was prep day. I took the pre-prep solution (before the big solution) and well, I passed out. Hubby called doctor and they cancelled the procedure. Recently I rescheduled and they didn't make me come in first since I had already been in, nice. I was able to just reschedule my procedure. I saw Dr. Mohan before the procedure in the procedure room. You won't see her after but she talks to your family. I've never been to a doc that sees you after. You are buzzed and you won't remember. They have other procedures or they have to go back to the office for appointments. I have my follow up in 2 weeks. If you want warm & fuzzy and a fancy office, this isn't it. If you want qualified and competent, Dr. Mohan is the lady for the job.

This was an immediate red flag because it told me he was not listening to me and was just there to get the job done and move on. I told him that I was experiencing loose stool, and this was an issue that I did not have before starting a medication, and had ONLY been occurring since I had been on a specific medication. And what does he say? "You need a colonoscopy." You're going to tell me rather than ask me what's the medication, let's research the side effects, let's see what dietary changes may fix this, you're immediately going to jump to an invasive surgical procedure? And we already covered that there was no physical discomfort, aches and pains--and that this loose stool ONLY came after taking the medication I'm on. He just wanted the money he would get for having me do a colonoscopy.

Hey, I'm a realist & things happen beyond our control so the clinic being a part of the hospital was a big plus to me. We arrived at my appointed time. The front desk ladies were awesome & checkin was easy. We were shown to a waiting room & surprisingly my name was called a very short while later. I was shown to my private bed & the admitting nurse went through all the paperwork with me, I changed into a very fashionable gown & she popped in the IV (she was a good stick, the IV was in on the first try & did not leave a bruise!). After another short wait, H gave me a kiss & I was on my way. I was wheeled into the room where the procedure wad top take place. There were a few people there, all busy seeing things up. They greeted me warmly. This is when I decided to close my eyes because I did not want to see the tools & whatnot they were laying out. The next thing I knew I was waking up & H was holding my hand. I was told the prep was the worst part of a colonoscopy & it's true. Whatever drug they used worked wonders without leaving me woozy & unsteady. I felt good enough to go out for breakfast. It's like nothing happened. Easy peasy. The staff at this clinic are phenomenal. The nurses are the best & they are all angels! Caring & empathetic, these women & gentlemen were top notch. For something I was not looking forward to & worried about, it turned out to be a very nice experience.

It's hard to find a good doctor. I had Dr. Khandawalla. While he's better than Dr. Thompson in…read morebedside manner, he's not great in it. He is unashamedly money hungry, wanting to do a colonoscopy every year. I mentioned that I was still taking indigo for my UC when we were already out in the hallway. He laughed at me and asked the doctor who was standing next to him if he ever heard about it. It's the best medication I've used so far and I don't even have to go through other people to get it. I had a great gastroenterologist not long before him, unfortunately for me he retired. After one of my colonoscopies, they sent a bill for $800 for labs for the polyps. After a million calls to them, one of the staff talked about it on the phone with me and said that next time, I need to tell them at the clinic to only use providers that are covered by my insurance. Be ready for 3 bills in addition to the $1000 that you have to pay upfront for each colonoscopy. I switched to a doctor who does their colonoscopies at Memorial Endoscopy Center. The total for everything ended up being like $1500 with them. With Khandawalla, I had to pay $2200. I did see Dr. Thompson first but only went to him once because he was rude and not at all delicate about my prognosis. That was hands down the worst bedside manner I've ever received. But Khandawalla was pretty rude and annoying too. The front desk staff care more about the socializing they are doing with each other than about talking to patients. They are stiff necked while interacting with patients.
