After delivering the boat, I was presented with an estimate double my previous costs and 65% higher than the pricing indicated on the service intake form that they asked me to complete. When I called to discuss these unexpected charges, I received an email stating they no longer have the bandwidth to complete the work and requesting that I pick up my vessel immediately. Abruptly canceling my service in May left me in a difficult position at the start of the season. This experience and lack of professional communication were extremely frustrating and consistent with the negative feedback I have heard from others.

I also had starting problems so they pumped out the fuel and that did not get it started. They installed a fuel pump but they used a automotive pump that did not fit, The problem is that it did not work and after 1 mile down the river the engine cut out. I had a marine mechanic neighbor look at it and he explained that an automotive pump when it fail drains fuel down to the street. Very dangerous and against Coast Guard regulations. My pump is above the battery bins. Explosions and fires have resulted. The marine pump uses a line that drains to the carb when it fails. This puts my family at risk and although they know what they did they told me to call their lawyer who after a year has still not responded... Stay away!

You can use the Bluetooth for the speakers on the boat. There are cushioned seats and a table in the middle which makes it nice for holding drinks. It's fun and you can have multiple people onboard. I plan to do this again! I went with a friend but I definitely want to do this again with a group. Happy this finally came to Baltimore and i think its better pricing than renting a full character.

In the end I got a quote for my walk-in shower, but it was not itemized which limits its usefulness. I already had a couple of quotations to compare theirs to, so the bottom line was South Shore was twice as expensive as their closest competitor, over 11k.. The agent neglected to send me a quotation for my kitchen floor. I have no doubt their labor and materials are high-quality, but not everyone needs the Rolls-Royce of showers.

art and renee lilly have been in the business for over 30 years, and their son, britt, is stepping…read moreup to take a more prominent role in the business. they are a friendly, hardworking family who clearly take great pride in their work. i had a bunch of work done on my boat this spring, but was late getting things started, and further delayed by weather. i was planning to get my boat to lilly's 3 weeks before the blue angels arrive in annapolis on may 20...unfortunately i didn't get it there until 12 days before the blue angels show, and there were already boats in the shop in line ahead of me. i asked britt about the possibility of getting the boat splashed by may 20. he hesitated, made no promises, but said he'd do everything he could to get it done. well, britt and his crew busted their arses and got it done for me in time! i picked up the boat on the morning of may 20, and could not have been more thrilled with the outcome! britt has a great eye for color, and amazing talent with an airbrush...he probably could have done my little single color 23 ft center console in his sleep. most of his work is on large offshore sport / racing boats with seriously tricked out designs and graphics. britt was super helpful in the color selection process. we wanted something unique, but not crazy. my wife wanted to go for something more toward ice blue, and i wanted to go more towards sea foam green. if you've ever picked out paints for a house, then you know how many colors / shades there are to choose. after looking at about 10,000 2-inch squares in shades between ice blue and sea foam green, my brain was scrambled. britt steered us right, though. I couldn't be more pleased with the way it turned out! if you're thinking about painting you boat, i'd strongly recommend you give the lilly's a call! they are a full service marine shop, and while i only had them paint my boat, given their work ethic and desire to "do things right", i wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future for other work on my boat.

We were surprised on our return to find my friend's slip occupied by another boat and his boat lines removed. My friend called the marina and no one answered the phone. We idled for 1/2 hour, motoring back and forth before he got a call back. My friend was informed that there was some "confusion" and his slip was moved. While they did bring down his boat lines it seems to me to be a matter of safety and customer service to inform a slip holder when a slip change has been made, especially when the slip holder is out on the water. It has always been fun going down to this marina and sailing w my friend but I'm never going back.

From the first meeting to figure out what needs to be done to having it relaunched the staff at Ferry Point have been exceptional. Friendly, welcoming, professional, encouraging, highly skilled and competent: I cannot praise them enough. They are open year round, have every amenity, and provide first class service. We nearly signed it without knowing that even though the price had gone up, we were being downgraded to a much worse slip. We were newcomers to this, so didn't even know that such a thing could happen. So I think a little more transparency would have been greatly appreciated there. But other than that, we like them a lot.
