I saw Mike Tilton's name, and I decided to call. Their office staff promptly answered my call and reported a repairman would come over today. Two nice gentlemen, "Randy" & "Jeremy" came right on over, told me what the issue was, had everything needed to make the repairs with them (so I didn't have to wait for them to come back at a later date or time), and made the repairs today. Just had Brandon of Ski Plumbing back to fix something else on my aging home…read more My bathtub was leaking and I was expecting I would have to take out a HELOC, but Brandon diagnosed it as not the disaster I feared and had it fixed in about two hours (including going for a needed part). As usual, he fixed something else about the tub that I hadn't requested, installing a very nice stopper system. (I was using a plastic stopper from Dollar Tree and the drain had rusted!) He also regrouted in a color that matched what I had, which wasn't white. Brandon is a large man and can handle almost any job on his own, so I don't have to pay $70 or more dollars an hour for a "helper" to stand around watching a plumber. He will also work odd hours if he is needed in an emergency. He had 10 years of experience working for one of the best and largest plumbing companies in Shreveport before he started Ski Plumbing five years ago. He's also a pleasure to talk with and works quickly and efficiently without making a huge mess. His prices are very reasonable, especially when compared to the going rates of the large companies.
