Cyclo is the best! We rented 4 bikes for the day, and rode the path along the river to Chute Montmorency, then south along the new section of trails. The bikes were great, but where this shop really shines is the service. The staff was just incredibly friendly. We had stopped by the day before to make sure they had availability, and they took the initiative and got our bikes set up for the next day before we showed up. We were ready to go in minutes. I can't say enough about how great this bike shop is! We rented a tandem for a week. The staff fit the bike to us and we cycled all over Quebec City - out to the Wendat First Nations Museum, out to Montmorency Falls, along the St. Lawrence River and out to St. Michel de Bellechasse - a darling town with world-class gelato. We have taken our tandem on a airplane before - this was so much better! Rental was reasonable. We reserved ahead but staff were flexible when our plans unfortunately had to change (I rode a single the first week when my partner couldn't get away). Staff went all out to make sure we had a wonderful visit. Cyclo provided well-fitting helmets, a lock, and bungie cords. Cycling is a great way to see this beautiful part of the world. Really friendly; well-equipped shop. Was pleasantly surprised as the hybrid bikes we rented had quality parts (and therefore helped us zoom down trails). Loved the easy ferry access to Laval from the shop, and loop around the Pierre-La Porte Bridge for the return trip. Merci! read more

We signed up for the Montmorency Waterfalls bike tour last Sunday June 17th through Avator but I assume you can sign onto Cyclo directly for a cheaper rate. The store is about 2 blocks from the bike trail. It was a great tour. The bike was really easy to use and very comfortable. Raymond, our guide was very experienced and safety minded. The partner tour guide checked on me constantly as I am a novice bike rider that cannot turn well. He also rode ahead to check on the flooding status of the trail. We stopped a few times that were well placed for the bathrooms. Raymond also provided historical and site information. Once we got to the falls, the tour included a ride on the trams to the falls and the we walked down the stairs back to the bikes. I highly recommend Cyclo. read more

Went on a 4 hr-bike tour to Montmorency Falls.... wow, so much fun. ‍ Fairly easy ride, about 18 miles round trip. Lots of breaks and they provided water bottles and snacks. We loved Mark our guide and Arianas (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) our group was perfect size. Our ride included getting into the Montmorency Falls and the Gondola ride. Guy was a great tour guide. He had some very interesting facts to share and definitely knew his way around the city. I would highly recommend the waterfall tour an easy ride pretty flat but suck a better way to go see it than to drive there. Friendly service from happy people, a good combination when dealing with tourists. There are a few bike rental outfits in Quebec city and I chose Cyclo Services base on a recommendation from Denis, the very helpful and happy concierge at the Delta hotel. We rented a tandem bike for a ride out to Montmorency Falls and with a smile were given a map and instructions on how to get there. Unfortunately my listening skills aren't as good as I'd like to think and we took a beautiful 10k detour down the St Charles river and back :-) The bike we rented was in good shape after an initial repair, it could have used a tune up, but you don't expect perfection from a bike rental. We used Cyclo Services for a guided bike tour to Montmorency Falls and they were incredible! We had a group of 4 girlfriends, signed up for a tour the day before. They put us in a small group of 7, plus a guide. The biking was easy, the staff was incredibly helpful and kind, and they provided water and a snack. The service of all the employees was above exceptional. I rented a bike for 2+ hours and went around the city and bike path. Went on a four hour bike tour to Montmorceny Falls with Paul and Danielle as our guides and I cannot recommend this enough! The bikes were in great shape and they took care in adjusting for each rider and included a bag of snacks/water. We were a group of 15 or so and I would say we were all experienced riders in good shape. Even our 13 yo daughter managed well enough. Paul was very personable and knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Quebec and its history and landmarks along the ride. The tour of the Falls was well managed as well and the guides were very flexible with us going in the direction that suited us best but managing to generally keep us together as a group. This was a fabulous day - and Paul and Danielle were wonderful hosts. read more

We did a 4 hour tour to Montmonercy falls. I felt that there was not that much information provided from the tour guide. You can instead just rent the bikes and follow a bike path ( maps provided) and you can do this at your own pace while reading your guide book or internet page periodically as you stop along the way. The next day we rented from another location near the marche across the street and encountered a more negotiable business owner. read more

We did the Montmorency Falls tour and enjoyed it so much we did the Upper Quebec City tour the next day. The staff in the shop and the guides were all friendly and knowledgeable and spoke great English. We learned a lot about the city and saw some amazing sights. They also gave us great recommendations for restaurants for lunch after our tours. My partner is a serious cyclist and I am an absolute biking beginner, and we both had a great time! We rented bikes from Cyclo Services and made the trip out to the Montmorency Falls. It's about an hour trip and worth the effort. The falls are impressive. Only downsides are the mobs arriving by tour bus and pricy gondola ride (we rode up and walked down). The folks at Cyclo Services were very helpful and explained the whole route which is on 99% on very nice bike trails. Im sure the tour (we just rented bikes) is great, but it's easy to do own your own. Highly recommend this for a half-day excursion outside the city. read more
