My husband and I come here every Sunday since our gym is closed on this day and we wanted to try something different. The facility is clean. Staff are friendly and the instructors are amazing. The atmosphere is super cool and motivates you to put a strong workout in. They have a free intro class that I suggest, to get a feel for it. You just have to bring yourself. They provide shoes, water, towel, fruit for afterwards, and they even have a shower if you need to use it. AND you pick your seat when you sign up online. So no waiting in line getting anxious on where you will sit like most gyms. Very organized. Try it out! read more

I always have a great experience at this Cyclebar location. I've never actually purchased a membership, but I've been to over 30 classes at this particular studio and loved all of them. Lacey is probably my favorite instructor, but all of the classes are upbeat and leave you feeling accomplished and extremely sweaty. They challenge you and even if you think you're in good cardio shape, they will kick your butt. It's not clique-y, like some fitness classes. I've always felt welcome. The studio is always clean and the bathroom is stocked with anything you could need for a quick clean up after class. They also have a couple showers if you need to head to work after an early morning ride! read more

I did a free class here. It was a very good experience. When I arrived they had my name on the board. I went to my bike and they had a note on the bike welcoming me. So thought luck and clever. Cher was my instructor and I enjoyed her. As a side note, I thought it was a Cher music theme class and quickly realized it was not and that was the instructors name. She said that happens all the time. The bikes were in good shape and I got a good workout in. I plan to go back. read more

I love this cycle studio- I can't tell you how much dedication goes into this operation- the people that work here truly love what they do, and it's evident in every class! I personally am not a lover of spinning but I joined here because I know that it's an excellent way to train and be disciplined. Each instructor has their own way, and it's great to try each one to see what you like. I really enjoy the class ranks on the leaderboard just because it makes you work harder- if you don't like that aspect of it, you can choose to not show up on the board. It's great for everyone. Most of all, the professionalism and consistency of the whole group here make it a really rewarding experience to be a part of. You know you're getting a great work out, you know the people teaching are dedicated, and it just makes you want to show up and be your best. Thanks CycleBar ! read more

So I went to a multiple studio group event here last night. There were a ton of things that CYCLEBAR got right. The hospitality element is amazing. They have someone greet you at the door, they have multiple snacks out, they have chilled water for you, they have lockers. it's just really nice when you walk in and you're greeted and someone explain everything to you. I had never taken a stationary bike class before so the class itself was a little difficult for me. The instructor was not great. She was really serious and didn't really give us a whole lot of instruction on why we were doing the things we were doing which maybe they just don't do that but let's be honest a lot of the stuff that you do during Cyclebar is a little odd and a little funny. So there were people in front of me who hadn't had help to set up their bikes they were having trouble clipping in the one person's seat was way too low. they were kind of talking back-and-forth trying to figure out what was going on and laughing, they really seemed to be having a good time. then when we started to incorporate arms...I mean some of the stuff you do looks kind of funny, so they started laughing again and the instructor called them out in front of the entire class which I thought was kind of rude and unprofessional considering that it was a combination class ona Friday night with people from three different studios and a lot of us had never done cycle bar before. Then to add to it, later she started talking about this whole mantra about how when people come in and don't have your vibe don't let them bring you down and all of the stuff about haters and she kept looking over at the people from the our studio. Personally, as someone who wasn't from Cyclebar it made me feel very attacked because I was from one of the other studios. She kind of ruined the entire Cyclebar experience. The only other thing I will mention, is that I'm used to riding mountain bikes and bikes outdoors in general, and I am familiar with clip ins. Something that I tend to do without even thinking about it is while I'm cycling I will stop moving my legs and shake them out while on an outdoor bike the wheels will keep running. On a stationary bike when you do that without thinking the whole thing keeps moving and it tries to rip your legs out of their sockets. Just keep that in mind. Overall, I really liked the hospitality and amenities, but not the one instructor or the leg ripping out of the socket. read more

Awesome cycle studio located in Robinson township. Parking is never an issue as it is located right in the town center. I have been here a few times and it never disappoints. The staff is great and the studio is clean. You will feel welcomed. They offer complimentary towels, water bottles, lockers, fruit, shoes etc. Seriously, all you have to do is show up in workout clothes. They have everything for you. If you need to shower after class, no problem... they have showers too. CycleBar offers themes rides, which are always fun. They also have weighed bars on the bikes, and you use them during class for a full body workout. The class times are convenient as well. It is a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. Sometimes they offer discount packages, which is always nice. After each class, you get an email with your stats. I would definitely recommend CycleBar you're looking for a a great workout! read more

It can be very expensive and much like Orange Theory Fitness, Pure Barre, and Burn Boot Camp, very salesy, but the owners can be very understanding usually if you chat with them. It can also be cliquey, but they have die hard members so who can blame them? If you're there for your cardio or to shut your brain off, disregard that and remember not everyone in class is there to make friends. It's worth a shot, first class is normally free even if you're not looking to commit to a membership! Something to do if nothing else. read more

Best Happy Hour I've given myself in a long time!!! Can't say enough from the easy signing up with Kate, David with his welcome, Jenny with her assistance and Ashley leading the incredible ride!! This was well worth my 11/2 to get here! read more

I have been to a handful of cycling studios in the Pittsburgh area & Cyclebar is hands down the best! Everything from the smell to the instructors and the exciting class itself is a great experience. The studio is super clean and welcoming when you enter. All of the staff/instructors are upbeat and very helpful, which is especially great for new clients. They have check in systems on iPads that are super easy to use, cycling shoes waiting for you in an assigned cubby, lockers, water, and towel services! I have also been to classes where they serve smoothies or healthy snakcs after. Just about everything that you would need in a cycling studio is here. The spin room itself is pretty large with about 50 bikes. You reserve the specific bike ahead of time so that it syncs up to the monitors when you do races and sprints. The room is dark and lined with mirrors. Cyclebar always offers themed classes that are super fun and the instructors always get into the theme! The instructors always play amazing music that goes along with each ride. Cyclebar is a recent addition to ClassPass too, it has become a staple to my exercise routine! read more

Very nice studio; very clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The spin instructors were very good; lots of help with post-workout selfies. They setup changes in music and lighting that make the time pass really fast. I can't say that the 45 minute workout lived up to the hype of the 'pump video' on the cyclebar website, but I'm a pretty serious road biker. read more

Cycle Bar in Robinson sets high standards for any gym in the burgh! From my first class to my current class, every time I walk through the door I am greeted by an upbeat team team member who welcomes me and asks if there is anything I need help with. Every class is different ensuring to mix it up for the participants! The teachers are engaged, keep you motivated, and generally just happy amazing people. Once the class is complete, team members line the doorways to offer you a cold towel to cool off. Drinks and healthy food are always provided. I would recommend cycle bar to anyone who is looking for a great workout! read more

After now my third time of spinning, and 2 of 3 at Cyclebar--of that, one here and the other in the North Hills, I am convinced that this is self abuse. I am totally kidding! This was an excellent class led by Becca!!!! She is amazing! But let me first tell you about why I went to this location. Dress for Success had a fundraising event where all proceeds went to Dress for Success. Social service agencies and organizations are always dear to my heart. And I was seriously amazed and impressed that all proceeds are going to such an amazing social service organization that helps to empower under privileged women and give them the confidence to be work force ready. So, moving on.... You get a free water bottle and they do have a cool and room temp water tap for you. Also, a free shoe, towel, and locker rental. Becca and the others that worked there did a nice job with making sure we were all clipped in and saddles (seat for your butt) were at an appropriate level. After everyone was settled in, we took off! The workout was definitely challenging, but it felt as if Becca was in tune to knowing when to bring it down for a rest, and then bring it back up for a more challenging race. In the bar, it is like a club where the lights change and go up and down. But it isn't at all trauma like lights that make you gp nuts. It's a nice touch to your experience and adds excitement. We got to see our rank periodically throughout the workout which I enjoyed most. I like to see how I rank with others. I like a little bit of competitiveness. Becca was great at being inspirational and coaching you on. She gave great feedback to us and inspired us to keep pushing. And that is so important. You want to feel as if the trainer is speaking to you. If you are a spinning hamster, then you will probably love this place. read more

Cycle Bar is my new home away from home. The cycling theatre is a place where I can work out in a comfortable and exciting environment. My Cycle Star, Becca, really did rock my ride! The energy was amazing from the moment you step inside and the facility is top notch! Everyone should go check this place out! The hottest new place in Robinson! read more

I attended my first Endurance Ride this morning at 7 am. I frequent the 7:30 am Saturday ride, so this time slot fit right with my schedule. I was excited to learn that Emily was the CycleStar. I have taken Emily's classes before and she's a great instructor and very motivating. I haven't been able to take Emily's class lately and was looking forward to it today. Unfortunately, Emily wasn't able to instruct and Lacey was the sub. I also enjoy Lacey's classes, so this was still a bonus for me. I didn't know how I'd approach the Endurance Ride, but I made it all my own and have a wonderful experience. I've never felt so energized after a class! I hope Endurance Rides pop up more frequently (and with Emily on stage)! read more

One of the best spinning experiences I've ever had. Great facility, experienced instructors, fun vibe. Will be back!

From your first experience to your tenth CB will not disappoint. The owner is so customer centric, as is the staff and the instructors are top notch. The special touches from the wet towel, picture afterwards and having your shoes ready for you makes the experience better than soul cycle. LOVE this studio read more

I just attended my first class at Cyclebar Robinson with a friend and we both loved it. We were immediately greeted by someone who gave us a tour and explained how everything works. When we walked into the cycle room we were greeted by the instructor Erin who showed us how to set up our bike and clip our shoes in. The workout was great! The facility is very clean and modern which I liked. It was also a very friendly and positive environment. We will definitely be back! read more
