CYCLEBAR - Cycling Classes Near Me - Fort Collins, Colorado

They have a special on Facebook where you can get 3 classes for free. Also if you go onto their website you could one free class to try it out. They were welcoming and friendly. It was very easy to book my class time. They give you everything you need - the cycling shoes, and towels. There are showers available if you want one. Also lockers. The instructor was friendly. And mostly explained about the screens in the spin room. The class was good. However i was not sure why they did the arm pushup style exercise while on the bike. I am spin certified and also certified in a few other types of cycling and that was not something i had seen. I didn't personally do it because i didn't like it. Also wasn't too sure about the ranking system? our names get flashed on a screen i guess as to how hard we are working? i am not sure this piece was not explained to me. Also after class you get a ranking as to how you compared to everyone in the class. It seemed like a warm and safe environment though. read more

I am here from out of town, and I called 3 minutes after the class started. I work in the customer service industry and i know that there are rules for places but the way the receptionist greeted me when I called and said "I am so sorry I am running a little late im sorry to disturb your class" her response was very concrete and I understand there are rules but what is 4 minutes late to a class if someone says sorry and calls there should be options. I would have preferred "have you taken a spin class before" I would have answered yes. It would have been better if they said just come! Instead she offered another class that was unavailable and a class a different day after I hung up. What's the point in even offering if your response in the first place was so cold. I highly recommend learning how to word your responses differently so people feel better about coming back. read more

A great workout and a super welcoming atmosphere! I attended my first class for $10 a couple weeks back and had a good time, and was definitely sore afterwards since I haven't been on any kind of bike in probably a decade... :) Booking is really easy online and the staff confirm your booking beforehand. Upon arrival, you'll remove your shoes, get fitted for cycle shoes, and be shown to your own locker (complete with cute welcome messages). Everyone is required to wear masks until you get to your own bike. I was clueless, but staff were able to show me how to get locked in to the bike, where everything was, and how I could track progress. The dark room and minimal lighting make it really easy to shut out the world which is so valuable in this strange time! It was definitely a tough workout but I really appreciated that options/modifications were provided to everyone throughout, such as staying in seat, not using weights or doing choreography, choosing your own watts/speed etc. This was emphasized to me beforehand and even though I was new to cycling, I felt confident in my ability to make the workout my own. Staff check in with you after but don't pressure you to sign up for anything and don't get too heavy handed in the sales piece, which is also very nice. I joined CycleBar just over two years ago to cross-train for my first marathon and I've never looked back. Not only is this studio a way to train without the impact running has on the body, it is a community full of positivity and support. They celebrate every rider whether it's their first ride or 1000th and everywhere in between. They also have rides to support local companies/groups and fun theme rides to keep things more interesting and fun! I would (and have) recommended this studio to everyone. Absolutely amazing experience! I was visiting my daughter and since I have never cycled, she took me to my first class. As a newbie, this was the best place to come and I loved it! The staff treated me like family and I didn't feel pressured or intimidated at all. Although I am not able to compare my experience to another class or facility, I could feel the positive energy and vibe from all who attended that they were in the zone and ready to ride! A special shout-out to Kenzie who was an extraordinary instructor! She has amazing energy and was truly inspiring and motivating from beginning to end. Her mindset, attitude and song choices are next level! Her class will definitely get you in the mood to workout even when you're not feeling it. We did a super fun themed ride with glow sticks... it was like being at a concert which helped get into the flow with the killer music and lights. I would highly recommend her class to anyone. If you can get on a bike you can do this. She was encouraging to all levels to participate and go at your own pace. I felt so catered to... the staff helped me get adjusted to my bike and even brought me water. The facility itself it so pretty and spotless clean, and has wonderful amenities. If I didn't live in California, I would be a member at this location! read more

I absolutely used to love this studio and have been a member since opening day- until the teacher quality diminished to only a couple of good energy teachers. Also the front desk staff slowly diminished to girls who would ignore you at the front desk or give you an unwelcoming stare when you walk in. I have had to explain to each of my guests how to set up their bike and shoes because the front desk staff were less than helpful or friendly- leaving the poor teacher to pick up the slack. I took a class one time when the teacher had see through bike shorts on and IT was VERY evident in the bright lights- people were even talking about it in the changing area!!!! I even had a guest get charged for a "free" water bottle that was never given to them. On the other hand the owner has always been amazing and helpful! If only her genuine care would spread to her front desk staff. Amenities have also dwindled to the minimal since the studio has opened. They have always only had 2 showers btw. I had validated my original membership to the amazing amenities but it is no longer worth the investment in my opinion. read more

Simple concept, have an appointment and you're more likely to keep it, add an enthusiastic coach, an element of competition and the results will follow. Previous years the cold weather and uninspired elliptical workouts had me regressing over winter, CycleBar has me ready to hit the ground running (when it thaws). All the instructors are great and each bring their own unique energy. A couple have a sadistic streak, and I may curse them in the moment but appreciate them on the drive home. read more

I am thoroughly disgusted with this location. I signed my daughter up for six months and then called to cancel upon completion of the six months. Because they say they "couldn't get in touch with me "they also tacked on a late fee which they were unwilling to waive despite the fact that my daughter was largely unable to use this because of Covid. I suppose I could've canceled my credit card much earlier on and made it difficult for them but I didn't, I continue to pay the monthly fee despite her inability to use this and the fact that they decided to charge me a $25 late fee is just deplorable. I supported their small business for six months with very little service in return. I would not support this group. read more

I've always been a little nervous to go into a group fitness class that I haven't done before. I walked into CycleBar having never cycled before and felt SO comfortable. The staff is incredible and helps you get set up on your bike and tells you what to expect. I had the BEST workout and felt so strong after my ride! I have been going here for about 2 years now and love it! The owner and all the instructors go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The workouts are tough but you can go at your own pace. The music and lights are fun and make the rides more enjoyable. Their themed rides and happy hour/wine rides are my favorite. Wow! Just wow! This is by far the best cycling experience I have ever had! I have tried several classes over the past few months and every Instructor is incredible. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel safe on the bike and they listened carefully to my concerns about my health. There is a true sense of community and friendship at this location that I don't see, or feel at other locations around in Fort Collins or around the country when I travel. It's always clean, friendly, and you get a seriously "rockin" ride! I have found this the best place for my cardio workout. Thank you for making me feel like family. read more
