We thought it was due to the cold weather and figured the alternator would help charge the battery. We had several errands to run and decided at the last minute to stop by AutoZone and get another battery if they had one in stock. We have used this store in the past. The store had a battery in stock. We were glad to hear that. Hubs paid for the battery and a store employee came outside to replace the battery. He told my husband the alternator wasn't working and the new battery was draining as the car was running. We didn't have any lights telling us the old battery was low nor did we have lights to tell us the new battery was low. I suggested we drive home and go to Shottenkirk first thing in the morning. Kudos to AutoZone for having the battery in stock! As for their employee and his tester, we are not sure if the employee doesn't know how to use the machine ir the machine is bad. Shottenkirk checked out the car and said everything works well.

Well, when I got there, the older guy at the front desk (guess Josh had left for the day) was rude like. "Are sure are you are in you a the right place??" I told him, "Yes, I have been doing to this location for years." So he says, who did you talk to? Josh? I said yes. He went on to say all he had to do was go the next step and lock it in. You don't have an appointment. But he did fix it and wanted to work me in. I just left because I was done with his rudeness and smart comments. When I picked up the car I noticed that several fasteners were missing around the the radiator. When I pointed it out, the mechanic claimed that they were missing before he started. Just a very disappointing experience.
