The time to buy new shoes for the truck has come! But, like everyone else, I'm always looking for a deal and, for the particular shoes I needed this location had the best price. But the experience quickly declined from there. Very friendly on the phone turned into a challenge when I dropped my truck off. They were upfront and told me they were backed up so I left it with them and went about my day. 6 hours later, when I returned, my truck was still parked in the same place and hadn't been touched. However, somehow they'd been able to clairvoyantly determine that it needed new brakes and an oil change. They'd even called me to tell me as much. I'm very glad that I told them no - I change my own brakes and oil. When I expressed my confusion to the gentleman inside (I promise I was polite) I was met with a mixture of blank stares and assurances that the manager would be right out. Right out meant 30 minutes and they were closing the store for the day - my truck still not serviced. I was told by the manager that they'd had a busy day and would need me to bring my truck back the next day. You could possibly see my concern at this point, which I expressed to the manager too. Let me just say that I did not go back. I will not go back, and I cannot recommend this location to anyone. All I really needed was a phone call and some honesty - but those two things seem to be absent from the customer no service of today's business. Wonderful service and so generous! I notice my van tire had a nail after dropping all my kids off and I was in a hurry to get to work but my husband was on travel and needed my tire fixed ASAP. They got me right in and in the end they didn't charge me a dime for patching my tire. While waiting in the lobby though I noticed they had HGTV streaming, offered coffee and water and also had a sink if needed. The chairs were also surprisingly comfortable and even slightly reclined back. I was very very impressed and as a female not once did I feel uncomfortable. Amazing guys and service. I stopped by the place yesterday because my tire has slowly leaking air. Popped in without appointment yesterday afternoon. They found a nail in the tire and fixed it in less than 20 minutes. Surprisingly, they did not eve charge me for the work they did. Well, I decided to give this local business a shot with a very simple job... I needed a battery so called ahead and spoke with Andrew. He said that was an easy fix and even though they didn't have the battery, they could get it here in 20min. I had multiple errands to run, so I dropped the car off at 12:15pm... I returned at 3:45, giving them plenty of time. I get there and I'm informed that the wrong battery was delivered (no problem, those things happen), but that they got the right battery around 2pm... so you would figure it would have been installed . I waited until 5:30 before they informed me that the 2nd battery was also wrong... so the manager went to get another battery. All I wanted was a simple battery in my car. The communication was terrible as no one updated me on any issues and clearly I, the customer, was not a priority for them. I consider myself a patient person, but this level of incompetence and poor service is so unacceptable! I will not be returning and I'm mad at myself for even giving them a shot. Update... I was given a great discount for my inconvenience... and though it was appreciated, I am good paying and supporting a business... I only ask for professional service and real customer focus! read more

My husband took my SUV here to patch a tire that had a very slow leak. They pulled the nail from the center of the tread then told my husband they don't do patches, while the air is pouring out of the tire. I can't believe this actually happened. Now we're urgently trying to find a place to patch the tire before it's entirely flat. We stopped going here over a year ago because of the ridiculous things they do...definitely learned our lesson this time. Poor management and even poorer training with no expertise in anything. If no stars was an option, that would have been our choice here. read more

I've bought 3 sets of tires here and referred my son who has also bought tires here. The last set I bought I was trying to get them to match a great deal from a bigger repair shop because I already had done business with them multiple times. I got a whole bunch of "yes we can match that deal, no problem " until it was time to pay the bill. In spite of what I was told by the manager, it was suddenly $100 more and all he could say was "I'm only making $200 on this deal ". If they couldn't match or beat the deal and said so I would have said no problem I'll catch you on the next tire purchase. Needless to say I won't be buying any more tires from here, their word means nothing. And that's too bad because I like to use the same place for things for years to come, IF I feel like I'm being treated right I'll spend the money. read more

Made and appt. Showed up 15min early for an oil change and tire rotation. They said "it's not that busy. Should be done in less than 1.5hrs". Waited 2hrs and checked on it. My son had a chunk taken out of his tire and we needed a replacement quickly so we stopped here. He has a 2021 Chevy Malibu so we figured it would be rather easy. The only tires they said they had were a very cheap brand Chinese tire And another Chinese tire that was almost twice the price. We end up going for the really cheap Chinese tire only because I haven't heard of either brand and they both were rated poorly online. We asked for Michelin, Goodyear, Cooper, Perelli, or any brand like that they had none. not only that but for just a Malibu the cheapest Chinese tire was 140 and then they added 40 more dollars in fees to that which is also ridiculous. Last summer I was having issues with my AC not getting cold. I took it to Goodyear tire multiple times and kept getting the run around about what the issue was. Fed up, I finally called Tire Discounters to get a second opinion. I spoke with Michael who took the time to listen to my issues and frustrations. He squeezed me in for a free consult the same day. Not only was he able to save me $250 but the shop was able to accurately identify what the problem was immediately. They ordered the parts and fixed me AC the next day. Yesterday I made a quick trip to Publix on 431 during lunch. When I came out of the store, I noticed my rear tire was going flat. I quickly jumped in my truck and drove to Tire Discounters on Sutton. I went in the store told attendant the issue I had going on. He walked outside with me to look at the tire. 5 minutes later a mechanic told me to back in one of the bays. He stopped what he was doing and changed the tire. I asked him I much do I owe. He said, nothing.. your good to go.. Have a Happy Thanksgiving. About a year ago, I disagreed with having to wait for 3 hours (I did not have an appointment, did not know I needed one) to get tires rotated. Today I just go to a shop that does them in 10 minutes, no appointment needed. Yes, not free, $20. But my time is worth WAY more than that. I like it. My children keep using this place. I do not support this. One son went in for brake issues. They wanted to replace all rotors and pads. Said back was bad (I agreed) said same of front. 3mm left on pads. 975$ quote. I knew front was fine, I had personally replaced them a year ago. Checked them and I was right. Back was bad. For $250 I replaced rear rotors and pads myself. Yes, I know we all can't do that. Problem is, most folks can't tell if they are being taken. This place continues to disappoint me. Ripping people off for uneeded repairs and not providing walk in service for a simple tire rotation is simply unacceptable. It also appears that they have agreements with tire manufactures that make it impossible to replace the exact tire at another place. Use a place that does not implement these practices. There are so many better alternatives. And yes, they did contact me on my last review (below), but all they did was talk and do nothing about they way they provide service for existing customers. I noticed this place only has about 11-12 reviews. What this tells me is people are not paying attention and just putting up with this inferior service. Or they are happy. Which is fine. I'll find another way to get my point across. read more

Basically, getting my tires at that store was a good experience. However, when I stopped by to get tires rotated, I was told it would be 2-3 hours. Whose got that much time? I was then informed I should have booked an appointment. They should have a bay set up to deal quickly with people who spend the $800-$1200 they get for a set of tires. Service customers deserve that repect. I went down the road and had a local business do it in 15 minutes. Won't be back unless they come up with a better, faster way to deal with existing customers when it comes to simple service. read more
