    They are generally unresponsive. They will take way more of your deposit than they should. They are difficult to work with.

    This is a review of Curtis Keables as sellers agent for my current home and buyers agent for…read moreanother house, who claims on the Dufour website a 'wealth of knowledge and experience,' and that he is a Mormon with huge family. I did not expect him to turn up with another man Spenser Keables, claiming it was his son in his first sentence whose attitude and behavior, from beginning to end, did not indicate they were blood relatives at all, nor is it mentioned on the Dufour site that they are relatives as one would normally expect for a father/son team at one company. Curtis agreed with my initial estimate as to my house value even though I vastly overstated it deliberately and produced no facts to substantiate his opinion. In the month he revealed no useful knowledge of rooves, stucco, foundations, hvac, or other major costs, instead overstating the difficulty of simple indoor repairs. For the property I found without his help closest to my needs, I made an offer based on my own experience. He stated a new roof was necessary, which I initially took on faith, considering his statements on the Dufour site initially. Then as he did not tell me the title company handling the transaction, I gave him a cash initial deposit. Thereafter, all the indications he made as to the need of the new roof were to peripheral trim and sideboards only. He made no recommendation to perform any additional inspections besides those paid for by the seller already. In particular, he refused to inspect the attic, after I found no evidence that an entire new roof was necessary, and his excuse was to inform me he was not required to by law, after I requested cancellation due to lack of quality inspections. After his final inspection, the seller's agent continued to try to negotiate with me directly even after multiple statements I was already at the top limit of what I could afford. He totally avoided making any statement about possible damage from apparent stucco replacement of the original siding. Both him and Spencer acted entirely like salespeople, diverting attention from potential real issues, or claiming no knowledge of them, while chorusing on the simplest of features to enjoy as one might expect of car salesmen rather than buyer's agents. When things started going totally South, they started storming my front door without masks. After his final inspection he refused to answer my requests for information, instead telling me just to do what he said, and the two of them stormed my door several times when I had asked them not to, and without wearing masks. Although I could say much more, I conclude by saying he made a mistake on the cancellation form, which reports I was holding the initial deposit, after which I am led to believe he mailed the initial deposit to the seller after I declared I would proceed no further, as determined by the title company. That is, by appearances, he kept the initial deposit himself instead of putting it in escrow. I am only glad the sellers agent was honest and deposited it, because I would not have got it back otherwise. This is my second extremely frustrating interaction with Dufour agents. The previous agent, who cut a deal on both sides then charged me the full commission at the title company, sold me a mobile home and closed escrow before I had a credit check to get in, which might have resulted in me not being able to live in the property I'd just bought. When I tried to repair the situation, she ordered me never to contact Dufour again, and shortly thereafter, Im told she was fired.

We appreciate Kym's down to earth, honest approach. She is genuinely kind, generous, and thoughtful, in addition to being an unusually knowledgeable real estate professional.

The other 2 winners were national real estate chains Century 21 and Coldwell Banker, but this smaller company stood up to the competition in this small town. That has to tell you they are doing something right when it comes to marketing. If they're that good at marketing their business, wouldn't they be equally as impressive in marketing your home for sale? They only have about 10 Realtors, but they are some of the best in the biz. Each of them was hand picked for their savvy marketing techniques, charismatic personalities, and impeccable client approval ratings. This small office is location just off the Esplanade (1st left after Shasta going North on Esplanade) in an office development built in 2006. Their office is neat, clean, new, and incredibly professional looking. I wouldn't mind having meetings with my Realtor there! This office is responsible for some of the most cutting edge and high tech marketing. Have you seen their signs around town? Yeah, they're the beautiful white posts with finials at the ends and their elegant dark green and gold logo pops against the white background of the signs. It just says "we're worth every penny". W. M. Campbell provides real estate services the way the should be, with a smile and an eagerness to please the client. They do what it takes and they love what they do.

    !DO NOT USE WELLS FARGO! Choose another bank!!!!!!!!!!!!!…read moremy 82 year old Mom has banked at Wells Fargo for 60+ years their service is about as good as going to the DMV!!! All she wants to do is get copy's of her checks sent to her and a few other simple things. Set appointment with the branch manager and the branch manager NEVER SHOWED UP! She has met with multiple other employees with ZERO HELP!! Just the run around (basically they don't care) they are going to care when I advise her to pull all of her money out of Wells Fargo and go to another bank! It would be faster and better if they just said we don't care to help you unless you're making a deposit!! Shame on you!!

    Wells Fargo is ripping off it's loyal customers. They do not tell you when you take out any loan…read morethat your interest rate is per day. Furthermore you cannot pay down the principal on your loan anymore they want all the interest. They say the only day you can make an extra payment towards the principal is on the exact day your payment is due. They do not tell the customers this inside information. If you make any extra payments on your loan that is not on the exact day your loan payment is due they will take interest from your extra payment. Not being able to pay down the principle of your loan is downright criminal. They did not even tell their customers are bankers of these changes. Wells Fargo Bank should absolutely be sued for every cent of interest they have ripped off from its customers. I've been a loyal customer for 20 years and this is how they treat their customers. Once I have paid them off I will find me another bank. Take your money to a credit union bank or anyone that is not pulling this kind of criminal scam on its customers.
