This review was for the photo printing. I had placed an order for 6 prints. I ended it up going about an hour after they were set to be done. When I got there none of them were printed because the printer was not working. When the girl at the register called another employee he stated that it was down all morning and that he would need to reboot it. He then proceeded to reboot and said it would take 5 minutes. Well it ended up taking 30 minutes before it was done and I had to ask again for them to check. This time they were able to print. The girl was very sweet but there was no sense of urgency or the other employee didn't even come back at all to check on the status of the printer. I thought that we would have been helped when she took the pictures to her register and by then two people were lined up and she didn't let them know that we were next, instead she helped them before us. I transferred one of my prescriptions from Walmart to CVS, due to Walmart's extreme price increase on that particular medication. After reading so many bad reviews of the pharmacies in Yuma, I was fearful of what I might encounter at a different pharmacy. However, I found the CVS pharmacy in the Foothills to be satisfactory. There were five employees on duty. One was at the drive-thru window, one was at the prescription pick-up counter, and three were busy in the background. The employee who waited on me was efficient and pleasant. There was a line, and it got longer and longer behind me. My main complaint is about their telephone system -- I could not get through to a human. You can leave your number for a call back, which I suppose is better than nothing. I also called the Fry's pharmacy for information, and I found their telephone system to be even worse. Thankfully, I can now get all my medications between Walmart and CVS -- it's just a matter of navigating systems and selecting the best. You have to develop your own personal network of resources for the purpose of staying alive -- do whatever works for you. read more

I went to CVS on Fortuna. Used the Drivethru. I've been treated poorly before with in store visits but never like this. I had a Perception for a cream ointment. I barely could understand her when she says that will be170.00$ I asked that can't be rite. And gave her my United Healthcare Ins card. About 10 Seconds later she said yep that's what it is. No Explanation basically hung up the conversation. I had to ask her for my Card back. Totally DGAF attitude. I'll never go back. Period. read more

very disappointed with this CVS pharmacist. The first time I called the pharmacy the associate indicated that they have the medication in stock. I called back 15 minutes later to ensure it was the extended release. The second time I spoke with the pharmacist, and she indicated that they cannot share the information whether they have it in stock. I asked how am I supposed to ask my doctor to send over the prescription if I do not know whether it is in stock. She stated that you have to have your doctor send the prescription to us, and then we can let you know if it is in stock. Every other pharmacy I spoke to had no issues indicating if they have the medication in stock. I feel this is a disservice to the customer. Why would a person send over a prescription if they have no idea if the pharmacy has it in stock? I would not recommend this pharmacy to anybody. I feel the pharmacist acted in an unprofessional manner. read more

Our only complaint is nobody in the pharmacy will answer the phone; unless you are a provider/doctor. We always need to drive there to get answers. Other than that the pharmacy staff has always been kind/courteous/helpful in person; even during these busy days when the winter visitors arrive by the tens of thousands. This store is disgusting, has a sewer leak and stinks like sulphur. Second the pharmacy is terrible. They screwed up one of my prescriptions so I haven't had it for a month because they refused to fill it unless my doctor contacted them. I called the doc twice his nurse finally called CVS and they blamed it on a computer error and filled the prescription and sent it to me by mail but it never got to me. Post Office marked it delivered but wasn't in the mailbox. CVS won't do anything to fix their, they said to contact the post office. I tried, but I have to wait 15-60 days before I can file a claim. I used CVS online system to schedule an appointment for COVID Moderna vaccine. Was pleased that I got an 1100 AM appointment for a Saturday. Silly me. I drove 20 minutes and arrived at my appointment on time at 2800 S 4th Street Yuma AZ only to be told that the pharmacy was out of vaccine but it expected more on Tuesday and the store would call me (sure, and the check is in the mail, too!) I have to wonder if friends and relatives of store staff get special treatment and customers get screwed. This destroyed my confidence in CVS online scheduling. Always treated good at this pharmacy for 9 years. They always handle winter visitors with respect and dignity. People who use this pharmacy are very demanding from what I've observed over the last 9 years. This pharmacy has been able to effectively help many people. Does anyone else have trouble with this Pharmacy shorting you on your blood pressure medication, my wife always get exactly 90 pills when her script call for 180 pills. They say if you don't count them here in front of us how are we supposed to know, maybe some of us need to complain to the corporate office but was wondering first if other customers are having issues with them ???? read more

I went to drop off a prescription and the girl there wasn't friendly at all. When I went to drop off my prescription she told me that my insurance wouldn't allow the amount of pills per day that the doctor wrote the prescription for. She said that I had to pay out of pocket or get it rewritten. Again, not friendly at all when I asked a few simple questions about if i could just get what my insurance allowed. I left and went to the Walgreens right across the street and they gave me the prescription that my insurance allowed without any issues. They said that I could get the remaining pills after 7 days. Had an unpleasant experience, one day after another. I chose this pharmacy to get my prescription and they said they didn't get a call from my doctor, so I had to contact the doctor. Had my doctor call me back hours later and said they'll have it ready 30 minutes from now which is the time they close so I wasn't able to make it after making three trips that day. The next day I go in and they said their system is shut down and I won't be able to come back till tomorrow. At this point I'm fed up and I have a trip early tomorrow morning so I'll be away with severe symptoms and no prescription. Customer service a 1 out of 10. read more

I have dealt with CVS Pharmacies for the last 10+ years since they were my insurance company's preferred pharmacy. In my experience, CVS has constant staffing problems, difficulty with prescription accuracy and supply chain mismanagement. I switched to a local, family owned pharmacy when I retired and all of those problems went away immediately. We do, however, travel during the winter months so my local pharmacy isn't very close to my winter address. I now pay for my own insurance so I have choices but CVS is about 30 miles closer to my home than any other pharmacy so I gave them another try. Even accounting for disruptions from winter weather and COVID-19 logistics, CVS Pharmacies have let me down nearly every occasion I have had to work with them. Every time I arrive to pick up my medications (about every 2 weeks plus visits for error corrections) there is a problem with my order. Their app says the medications are ready for pickup (I have been taking the same medications for over 10 years) but I have never left with a complete order. Their response to me is, "There is nothing further we can do." which is very frustrating, to say the least. CVS Pharmacies know what I will need and when I need it a month (really a year) in advance since my condition and needs will never change but I spend 5-7 days each month just trying to get my orders filled. I wish someone from CVS Corporate could do something about this as I hear the same issues from just about everyone I know who has tried using CVS Pharmacies. I guess this company is just too big to have to care about meeting the needs of their customers. read more

I will be taking my business elsewhere after my Pharmacy experience yesterday. My Dr. has recently prescribed Hydrocodone due to 2 tendons in my shoulder having high grade tears after a fall. I was given a paper prescription due to electronics with-in the whole YRMC system being shut down for several days. My Pharmacist at the CVS Fortuna location refused to fill my paper prescription. Their policy requires electronic prescription submittals for narcotics. He would NOT make an exception, knowing YRMC is shutdown. I am due for surgery in 2 weeks and my pain is not tolerable without my pain meds. When I asked him, "What am I supposed to do"?..... He responded with, "Go find a pharmacy that accepts paper prescriptions". UNBELIEVABLE!!! It is clear I am not a "drug seeker" but Policy over-ruled patient care which is unacceptable given the beyond normal circumstances of the YRMC system being shut-down. I went across the street to Frys pharmacy and was told, "We don't fill paper prescriptions but knowing that YRMC is under repair from a cyber attack, I will allow this to be filled". My Dr. confirmed the prescription was valid, Frys filled my prescription. I am thankful that I was given the care and compassion that I expected from the CVS Pharmacy. I AM NO LONGER A CVS CUSTOMER!!! read more

I am a First Time Customer of the CVS in the Foothills; and I was treated Professionally and Promptly on the Telephone when I called it....she answered all my questions and had the Scrips ready in less than 2 hours.......which is MORE THAN EXCELLENT especially now when the Winter Visitors are here and clogging every service around here! 5 Star Rating from me! read more

Waited over 20 minutes on hold. Hung up and called back and she didn't even want to hear about my 20 minute wait. Prescription wasn't ready and she said the doctors office hadn't okayed the refill. When I asked when they had contacted the doctors office she said sorry, she had just deleted the date. Doctors office said they never got a request ( same as the last few times) but would take care of it and put urgent on it. Went to CVS the next day after waiting on hold over 25 minutes to be told it was rejected. Started complaining and the pharmacy manager was able to get a 30 day supply right away. Horrible, horrible customer service and they lie to you every time! Manager said they don't have enough employees to do their job. They also lost his prescription the last time we were there. read more

Massive joke called pharmacy. Cannot fill any narcotic pain relievers as they forgot to order forms from the shut-down government. Will not help find a pharmacy who will fill another prescription as the first one is now not fillable due to DEA regulations. They fill the expensive scripts early but lose scripts if you drop them off. They double and triple fill scripts for items yet can't fill some prescriptions for two or three days even IF the drugs are in stock. They promise a script for a certain time but can't fill it for that time. AND they make you feel stupid or like a drug addict when you go to pick something up and it is not ready. The reminder system where they send you texts is all but unusable. Because they only send the first three letters of the item, it is a guessing game to figure out what they are talking about, necessitating yet another phone call or trip to the pharmacy to figure out what is going on. And getting to the pharmacy is simply ridiculous, whether in person or by phone. The pharmacy is always located at the furthest point from the front of the store, which seems like another unnecessary thing with CVS, especially if you are not feeling well. The drive-up window with one lane is all but unusable if there are more than two cars waiting. There is a small female registered pharmacist who is especially inept and unpleasant at the Foothills location. read more

Great place to get your prescriptions filled. The pharmacist is always willing to assist with the instructions and help find OTC type solutions. The pharmacy technicians have always been great help resolving insurance problems, they go out of their way to help all the time. They have friendly staff and a clean store. The cashiers have always assisted me with finding anything I am looking for, there is never a line, quick in and out!!!! read more
