No, sorry I got them from the beverage isle and I pointed to the aisle behind us. Sir they won't scan are you sure you didn't get it from the cooler. Yes, then the head cashier walked over. No scanner worked again, sir were there from the cooler. I respond if they were from the cooler they would be cold. Both of them shook their head and said that makes sense. The next day I went to visit my grandfather on the west side of warren approximately 3 miles from the Walgreens near Eastwood. The same exact brand and size toothpaste was $2.00 more. Now I understand that there are multiple factors involved but this area is classified as low income - the Family Mission sits next door so I really can't see the cost of business being that much higher unless the theft loss is that much higher. It's possible but regardless, it hurts to know the people who need the help most are forced to pay nearly 40% more than those that live in Howland.

I've recently noticed they have put out more take and heat one serving and family meals in the deli selection. They are priced a bit lower than Giant Eagle and are super convenient and beat fast food or pizza when you want something that tastes like you actually did cook! Also, very pleased with the protein snack packs by the fruit section. Some are priced under $3! Comparable healthy snack options at gas station or Starbucks are nearly twice that much. Lastly, (and I don't know why but just keep it coming), they have started offering Salmon Poke bowls, smoked candied Salmon and today, (for the first time ever), Seaweed salad!!! I'm wondering, (and I'm being serious), if demographics are changing since Ultim Cell opened and seems like more Asian community growing in Warren or at least more travelers here and somehow someone in corporate is offering more fish and variety of items you would only see on the coast, specialty food stores, or urban areas. Inquiring minds want to know? Either way I will probably go spend $40 and buy up the candied salmon and freeze some. If you've never had it you're missing out. I'm still shocked about the Seaweed salad, and to think it all started with the Poke bowls. Walmart you are doing pretty dang good. Thank you for supplying me with foods I miss from the West Coast.
