I've only had 1 minor issue w/ an online pickup order. The associates couldn't locate it at 1st but 1 of them finally grabbed the product from the sales floor & scanned it. Problem solved! Personally, I never had an issue w/ the pharmacy fortunately. I read the other reviews & this location getting a bad rap on both sides. I never had that kind of experience in either the pharmacy or retail side & I've been coming here for years. Sometimes you can get lucky & there's hardly a line or no line at the pharmacy or front checkout. In the front there are self-checkouts if you're in a rush. The cashiers are always pleasant & helpful! While the staff can look a bit stressed(understandable since the store often seems understaffed & it can get busy),they always do their best. Kudos to them for pushing through! The sales floor is consistently clean, well-stocked, & organized. I know it's not easy to maintain,so big thanks to the staff! I will definitely continue to come here for my medications & to use my coupons on the retail side. Sometimes the CVS app has valuable coupons you can load into your account. If I don't take an antibiotic for a few days when I have a raging UTI, will I die? My doc called the script in early Friday AM, and a text came in around lunchtime that they've received the request and will text when it's ready. Note: that would be a total lie, once again. Waited. And waited. Called their mobile number around 1 p.m.and was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. Didn't get a text. Called again and was told it wouldn't be until after 5:15. Decided to drive there anyway. I knew they were lying (based on past experience). Waited in a long line, only to be told they didn't have it in stock. The pharmacist had to step over loose bottles and pills all over the floor, and even grabbed a couple of plastic baskets filled with assorted bottles, checking each one, hoping against hope that one would be antibiotics. No luck. They sent me to another branch. I will never, ever use that CVS pharmacy again. And it's not their fault, it's corporate trying to make a buck by understaffing the place. I have used CVS Pharmacy since I lived in Wilton, Darien and New Canaan. Moved to North of Stratford and of course switched to this pharmacy. I have never encountered such rude people! One girl totally useless knowing nothing but acting like I am an idiot about my pharmacy plan. I told her she was rude, then she went to man next to me with all smiles and thank you sirs. Back to me rude, nasty, condescending. Another time a different girl also clueless. I asked her how much my prescription was without my insurance she didn't know, acted like I should know. I insisted on help, she bothered the pharmacist. The original price right on bottom of label, insurance price at top! She couldn't point that out? She didn't know. Lousy training. What is up with this place? Also, I want to address the store. What a joke! I only go there to pick up my prescriptions, use my coupons at self-checkout to get out fast. I usually have no more than 3 to 5 items and pay cash. The store manager follows me around, I am a 65-year-old businesswoman, and he watches me. As if I am stealing. Usually asks if I need help as I am checking out. And/or just stares at me. I am a corporate individual 40 years+. And then there are security guards all around as well. What happened there? Did someone steal 10 candy bars? Would not go there at all except I used CVS in Wilton before I moved here. I hear Target CVS pharmacy is super nice may change to there. If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. This is by far the WORST pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They do NOT pick up the phone. I have called them and stayed on hold for over an hour, driven there while on hold and STILL not had anyone pick up the phone. Garbage customer service. I have no idea how they even remain in business. I know I'm going to be switching to any other pharmacy in the area that actually picks up their phone. read more

Impersonal staff, except when they look at you like you're bothering them. Then they are quite personal. Will not answer phone. There must be no supervision. People actually have real questions that are not answered by an app. I gave up at 33 minutes on hold. My health was worth that time to me, but it was wasted, because my health wasn't worth two minutes of their time to them. I'll be switching my pharmacy as quickly as I can arrange it. read more

Nice CVS with friendly staff and short wait times during off-peak hours. I've been here many times over the years and prefer this location over the CVS about a mile away in Bridgeport. They have a drive thru pharmacy and it is quick most of the time. I like coming here over the Rite Aid in Stratford. read more

Severely Understaffed and today I experienced the pharmacist being very rude and condescending toward a customer

I had the worst experience in that store I went in there for a couple things to get my mother shampoo deodorant that kind of stuff on my way home so I went in. One guy kept asking what I was looking for and he was helpful but when I came to him and asked him where something was he was connecting like I'm stupid like "of course it's in this aisle"! And I end up getting a little more than I wanted there and I went to go check out and there is nobody checking anybody out you have to use those automatic checkout things they have there and then I asked them if they had a bag and this other guy who was extremely rude gave me this little tiny bag and when I said don't you have anything bigger he said no and I said well what am I supposed to do put one item in each bag he says ,sarcastically, whatever works and then turn to the other guy and said "oh my God, how do you put up with these people." Everyone in line was asking them why can't they just check someone out themselves and they did not respond they were being very rude to everybody. One star is extremely generous. You will be on hold for over 2 hours because the pharmacy refuses to answer the phone, and when you go there, you have to deal with a guy with a terrible combover who spends more time making sure his 3 hairs are all combed forward than what he should be doing and acts like asking him to do his job is going to kill him. The entire pharmacy staff is rude, lazy and extremely unprofessional. If your dr calls in a prescription, they typically won't fill it till the next day. People depend on their medication and it's a shame we have to deal with people like this to get it. CVS should be ashamed to allow this to keep happening and the people who work there should be even more ashamed of how they act. read more

Counter help extremely unprofessional waited 45 mins to pick medicine that was ordered several days earlier was told by SABRINA so sorry so sad we don't have it and if you need it you can wait another 40 mins while they package it. With that waked away and refused to give me her name nor the number of area general manager so I could complain. I have been filling my prescriptions with this pharmacy for years, and never had a problem. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. This week somehow my insurance had a problem and my prescription wasn't filled. Erica, one of the pharmacist, was very helpful, she took my name and number, said she would find out what happen and get back to me, which she did in and my prescription was ready to be picked up in less than 1 hour. When I got there I was greeted by Erica, who had a big smile on her face, and made this a great experience. Its not everyday that you find people who really help you, specially so friendly and nice! On 7/2/18 I was thrilled to hear of minute clinic... I tried to make an appointment for my daughter by entering all of our information online but the website gave me an appointment for the current time. I Cancelled and kept checking through my work day to see what the wait was. The website kept saying "0 minutes wait". Great! After work, in Milford picked my daughter up in west haven, put 1 Hawley lane on the GPS. GPS took Us to Hawley lane in Shelton... whoops. Figured it out and re routed to 1 Hawley lane in Stratford. No problem...They close at 7:30pm. I walked in at 6:40. One woman was checking in on the computer. Another woman was approaching the Dr. at the same time I was. I let her speak 1st. She asked the doctor if she could prescribe a medication for her... the dr said yes. Then she looked at me and said I can't see you today. Then I tried to kill her with kindness... pleading with her. Trying to tell her the story of us getting there. "No" was her response. I said but you are here until 7:30pm... maybe I can wait and see if you finish up with the other ladies... maybe there's a chance you could see us. To that she shut the door in my face. Shut the door in my face!!! This Dr has absolutely no empathy. Unbelieveably rude. I own a business and can't even imagine saying "I close at 7:30pm but I'm going to take my last customer at 6:45pm". What? Maybe cvs should say they close at 6:30pm so people don't waste very precious time. After I left and drove straight to Stoney Creek walk in in Orange, Ct. they close at 7:30pm and happily (&kindly) took us in at 7:20pm I spend thousands a year at CVS near my house in West Haven and even just this week I shopped at CVS in Pittsburgh to stock up my college kids apartment. read more

This pharmacy is so frustrating! they were bought out by target and their automated service texts you when your script is ready 3 hours after it is actually ready wasting time and making those sick wait! They are not friendly and very rarely helpful. I have waited over a half hour in the drive they and they don't even greet you with a smile. Prior to covid I found this pharmacy beyond frustrating and hadn't switched to somewhere else so I had to use them this week I am grateful to all working at this given time during covid -19 but if you are working please help those who are sick and be kind. read more

My pharmacy recently changed because of a switch in health insurance. Let me just say that I'm so disappointed. I was at Rite-Aid at the Stratford green and that was so much easier than this. My first impression was a rude women over the phone being lazy and not helping me. Her job is supposed to make my life easier. The wait is always ridiculous. Yesterday I went to CVS in Stratford CT, after being a costumer for maybe 15 years, it was the first time I was given the proper assistance, I met CRISTINA, I lovely young lady at the Pharmacy. She new exactly what she was doing, and most impressing HOW TO DO IT. Do you believe that this is possible? She was knowledgeable, precise, fast, and extremely informative. She told me rules about my insurance that I never knew. I went from a bill of almost $400.00 to a $46.00, all because it was done PROPERLY. I am impress, I am delighted, and every one should know about this young lady. Finally CVS got somebody that knows what she is doing. I am a happy costumer.
