I'm giving four stars solely because I love the selection at this location. Honestly, the area only has three other locations that carry cosmetics, and this store stocks many brands I love which I can't get without driving 30 minutes out of my way. This store's quality seems very hit or miss depending on the time of year. I understand it's located on an island and high traffic can be challenging, but I've been here many times. I wish they would hire more staff to meet the store's needs. I've never had an issue with the service; the service is always excellent, Whenever I walk in, I'm greeted, and I'm always asked if I need help finding anything. It's primarily the appearance of the store that sometimes makes me wonder if the Manager on Duty even cares about the store's presentation. Aside from that, I love the products, and the prices seem very fair. Not sure if this location is going to stay open,I'm aware that many locations of this company are closing. I'm hopeful that this one remains open. read more

Needed an inexpensive beach umbrella because the one at our VRBO was broken. Walmart wanted $35! Walked in and found a smaller good umbrella for $14! Had some cute beach stuff and self serve registers! Great for my needs! read more

The staff was very Professional and welcoming. They made transferring my scripts easy.

Staff were great getting needles for insulin needed minutes before holiday and closing. Frank supplied enough to help until I could get the perscription from my doctor. read more

Stepped on an earring at the beach and was able to get a tetanus shot in less than an hour later! Everyone was so nice and it was the smoothest shot I have ever received thanks to the pharmacist. No pain was-so-ever. Very hassle free. read more

Review is only for telephone answering. Made several calls trying to reach pharmacy at South Padre Island Texas. Never got a person with longest call going 32 mins before I hung up. Same problem at other locations but this was worst. They need to have appropriate staff and telephone training to lessen this awful attribute. Bill-Maryland read more

I've experienced nothing but long waits and slow and rude service. You will hold when you call for 45 minutes before speaking with someone. I've heard they pay very low which is why no one works there. It's terrible. read more

This is review is for the store, the Pharmacy was closed. I needed vinegar and Hydrocortisone for daughter jelly fish sting and they did not have either. The employee even told me people come in all the time for those items and said the local grocery store was out of vinegar too. He was nice enough to give me some other recommendations and needless to say I took the last of those items too so poor soul who goes looking for those this weekend. My recommendation is to please keep these items stocked especially going into a holiday weekend. Yes I can go over the causeway to Walmart or HEB but like I said in a holiday weekend the traffic is bad and isn't that why CVS is in the island. read more

Standard CVS. The shelves were full, I got everything I needed and I like the large travel size selection. They also had some cute leggings and pajamas. Only complaint was I bought some serial with marshmallows that were a little stale when we got back to our hotel. read more

If i could give the Pharmacy a zero i would. I was on hold for close to 30 minutes. I even called the front and told them how long i was on hold and still had no one answer once they transfered me. They wouldn't even take my insurance info over the phone earlier in the day when i called. By far this is the worst customer service and it shouldn't be tolerated. I am a Pharmacy Technician and we dont allow calls to get passed the 3rd ring and never put patients on hold for no longer than a minute. They need help! read more

Staff was nice and they had self scan stations which was pretty cool to see at a CVS. Store was actually rather large, bought some hats, cozies, and bread. A little over priced than a regular cvs but we were in tourist city! read more

The sign out front says "CVS Pharmacy Open 24 Hours. " Don't be fooled. The pharmacy is open 10 am-6 pm. Not even close to 24 hours. read more
