I recommend that you arrive early morning because vehicles start lining up mid-morning, and there is not much space for a line of vehicles waiting to enter the wash. Fortunately, they are adding a third washing stall to get more cars and trucks through the facility. There usually is an attendant who hand washes the car as the automatic washer is working. I'm not sure if they always receive a tip, but this certainly is a service the exceeds my expectations. Give them a generous tip, because I'll bet you don't get this service at the car wash at your home area. I have been coming to SPI for 30 years. I have gone through the car wash that you do on your own. Plus I have used a crummy service on Port Isabel that will steal your money and lie to you about reimbursing you the stolen money. I very much appreciate this service on the island.
