I was Having a dental emergency , there isn't a pharmacy in town that is open past 8pm on a thursday night ! Walgreens was my second choice , but the only pharmacist who was even alive at 8:30 pM and the worst part instead of being kind I got a pharmacist who was quite a jerk and when i asked for advice he said "the items you want are in that Isle " ! "i'm not giving you advice I'm not a dentist ! " WTH had happened to the medical field ? A pharmacist used to be someone you could depend on when your doctors office is closed . My regular pharmacy was also closed or I'd have gone there and gotten help . The young store clerk was more helpful and tried her best to be nice and help me , the store manager was nice and didn't rush me out she could hear that i was having an issue while on the phone trying to find help and trying to purchase product for a temporary crown that came off on the night of a holiday weekend . Thank you to the clerk and store manager for not rushing me out . I must have been born under a bad sign because if I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all . Credit Albert King and Booker T.

Talk about absolute nonsense. It seems like the entire store has gone to self-checkout and even…read morethen you can't even find an employee. However, the real reason for my review is the store's policy of ordering online compared to in person shopping is absolutely absurd. I came into the store looking for baby formula as it says they have it available, and I can even pick it up in store if I wanted. However, when I get to the section it seems like other baby formula has spilled over and someone might have accidentally mistook the items as available inventory. Since it's behind a case, I have to call over an associate, which is an ordeal unto itself. I eventually get two different employees show up to come assist, but of course they don't have the item and it's falsely stating "available." I'm then advised by both employees that I should go upfront and order with the online shopping Walmart representative so they can grab the item from the back for me in the warehouse. So instead of one of the employees going back for me, they are essentially stating I need to order online and "Hope" the item is back there otherwise Walmart will refund me. After politely asking one of the employees, he did check in the back, but after several minutes stated they didn't have any. Luckily he did mark it OUT OF STOCK, but talk about a weird policy- ORDER ONLINE, but don't expect to pick up items in person. This is just another reason why I try to avoid Walmart stores.

I had honestly forgotten just how rude, dismissive, and uncaring the main pharmacist at this location is. In general, CVS Health has not been a compassionate place for those of us with chronic illnesses. It may be fine for people who only need the occasional antibiotic or short-term prescription, but for someone like me--who manages multiple medications every month and often has to try new treatments--it's usually a nightmare. Adding in a pharmacist with zero empathy and an obvious ego problem only makes the experience worse. I genuinely do not understand how she continues to keep her job while consistently treating people this poorly. I don't expect anyone to bend over backwards for me, and I don't expect them to do anything outside of policy. But I do expect to be listened to. I expect communication between my doctor and me to be taken seriously, to receive updates when issues come up, and to have my concerns addressed instead of dismissed and ignored. It's honestly concerning that someone working in healthcare and responsible for handling medications that directly impact people's health can treat patients with such little care or professionalism.

I also get my covid boosters and my annual flu shots here as well......again, never a problem! The line is usually never more than 2 people deep and I get in n out within 5-10 minutes every single time. For years. The 1 star reviews are 1 bad experience (so of course they whine on here instead of talking to a friend or therapist....)

Every time I've been in here there is always some type of avoidable hassle. Having to ask the, mumbling expressionless person who is STILL WEARING A STUPID MASK while talking through a piece of plexiglass to repeat everything they've said 2 and 3 times making young me seem stupid, feeble or deaf when it's THEM. Staff is icy cold and highly impersonal. Unfriendly. Not big on eye contact. There is a tremendous disconnect and it's very weird. NOT A FAN! It just became easier to have prescriptions to the door with Amazon Pharmacy. There is no connection and no sense of community what-so-ever with this store, Perhaps it's the nature of these BIG BOX Drug stores.

Initially CVS told us they could order it no problem, but once the doctor actually sent the prescription over, they basically sat on it for weeks before eventually telling us they couldn't get it after all. Super frustrating considering this was medication my daughter actually needed and we kept getting the runaround. I called what felt like every pharmacy in existence and most of them pretty much immediately said they couldn't help. A friend recommended Home Health Pharmacy to me, so I went in the same day to explain the situation. I spoke with the pharmacist Jason, and honestly the difference in care was immediately noticeable. He told me he could transfer the prescription from CVS, order the medication, and have it ready the very next day. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely put my mind at ease after a really stressful experience. What's even crazier is CVS told us the medication would cost around $600 a month. Home Health Pharmacy was able to get it down to $445, so we'll be saving about $155 every month on this medication. The medication ended up being ready the next day exactly as promised -- actually earlier than I expected. They also offer delivery, which is amazing. Having worked in a pharmacy myself for 7 years, I really appreciated the level of care here. It reminded me of how pharmacies used to feel before everything became giant corporations where you're just another number in the system. You can really feel the difference with a small family pharmacy that actually cares about helping people.
