Horrible. Three days of getting the runaround from the jokers who call themselves pharmacists at this store. Doctors called in a prescription twice. Both times everything was confirmed by message and email, but we get to the pharmacy and they say they haven't received the prescription. Back to the doctor. Everything confirmed until we get to the pharmacy. Never received the prescription. They are either incompetent or liars. We go back to the doctor, get a physical paper prescription and take it in. We're assured the prescription will be ready in 20 minutes. When we came back an hour later, it'll be ready at 3. Frigging morons! If I could give negative stars, I would! Now an update! We got back to CVS just after 3 to pick up the prescription. They filled the wrong one. Morons! We then had to wait an hour and a half to get the correct (sort of) prescription. I understand being overworked. But you should be organized not overwhelmed. Horribly unprofessional for pharmacists making $150,000 a year! read more

They need to hire competent staff. Ordering a prescription refill by phone is impossible. The recording will always say "You have no prescription eligible for refill", which is obviously wrong, when I'm holding the original prescription in my hand and it says 3 refills remaining. Carla is the worst ever and needs to be fired immediately. I will be reporting her as well. After waiting 2 hours for my prescription I finally went into the store to ask what the delay was and why she was hanging up the phone when I called. She was very rude off the bat and told me to get in line when there wasn't even a line? I expressed I was upset with her tone and service to which she shrugged and said get in line again. I told her I am pregnant and sick and tried to reason with her and ask why she wouldn't understand my frustration since she was hanging up the phone. Mind you I was still calling when I came in and watched her stand next to the phone and not pick it up. Once she said she wouldn't help me my husband and I went to the other pharmacist who was now helping someone else and then she yelled and said she wouldn't fill the prescription for me and to leave? We moved and got in "line" like she said to do so I don't understand what was up her butt. I told her no, I am getting my medicine and am getting help from the other pharmacist and don't want her talking to me anymore. She then had the store manager come and tell me to leave and he was actually super nice and said I should report her and go to another cvs super quick to get my meds since I am sick and pregnant. He apologized and said he was sorry he couldn't fill it himself. Long story short Carla denied a sick pregnant woman medication after already delaying it for TWO almost three hours. We needed passport photos, which they said they provide. Called to make sure, as we were driving down from Benson, maybe 50 miles round trip. As the store would not answer their phone - I let it ring like for 4 or 5 minutes - I got on the CVS website, put in the zip code for this store (on Fry Blvd.) as requested, and as the site told me that this CVS store did take passport photos, we drove on down... An employee greeted us promptly at the photo counter (must not have been the person that answers phones) and told us they cannot take passport photos, as they have no camera. So okay. If you cannot take the pics, please say so on your website. And/or answer your phone! read more

This place is a crap shoot. You wait in line up to 15 min since only one person is there to check you out, only maybe 2 pharmacist, there's one older lady back there who walks around hating life. If you're not busy then start working the register to move people, don't act like you're beneath that! My experiences with CVS Pharmacy on 2090 Fry Blvd on Sierra Vista has been great! They have gone to lengths to get a prescription filled for my husband when the doctor's office had sent it to the wrong pharmacy, and he needed to start the medication right away. The pharmacist, Dave, is VERY helpful and knowledgeable. He spends time to explain side effects, how to take the medication, etc. And, he never acts rushed, although I know that he must be very busy! I have not yet met a representative of CVS pharmacy who has been rude or unhelpful. I see that there are many negative reviews here, but they are all from 2023. I have only been using this CVS pharmacy since 2024. So, perhaps there have been improvements in the service since 2023. So, at least in 2024 and 2025, the service has been great. read more

I was waiting in the pickup line and the girl that was waiting on us was using her cell phone, texting and picked her nose. She was Hispanic with dyed blonde hair which she kept scratching her head. Her behavior was not professional, and she wasn't wearing a name tag. I've always had a good experience before, but she was disgusting. Can't they hire more experienced, hygienic personnel? It's a pharmacy and they should be CLEAN! Maybe she doesn't know how to use a tissue. When you see disgusting behavior, it leads me to believe the pharmacists are nasty, too. read more

Unusable pharmacy. Unpredictable hours, very long lines, never answer the phone. Refills are hit or miss. But don't blame the staff. This is a CVS corporate issue. I was told by the corporate help desk that issues are being addressed and things will improve. This is good to hear, but too late. I called the pharmacy to find out what my co-pays would be for a prescription. The person I talked to IMMEDIATELY told me that they could not order my prescription because of their distribution contract. However I knew that CVS is one of the pharmacies that absolutely can order the product I wanted. When I mentioned that, the person proceeded to tell me that they couldn't check to see what my co-pay would be until I dropped off the prescription. I ordered blood pressure medicine on May 14 and the order was cancelled by CVS with no reason given. I was not notified of the cancellation. I re-ordered on May 19 and 4 days later the order remains "in process". The staff does not answer the phones. Very frustrating and have been out of the med for 5 days. Over the last couple of months, unable to actually get my prescriptions. Your order of prescription stays in process for days. Unable to call in to ask to please fill the RX, as phones are not answered. Keep in mind I have actually waited over an hour on phone just in case they MAY answer. Didn't happen. I have tried this more than a few times. Only way is to walk in, wait in the drop off line to tell them to please fill the order of prescription not just say it is in process. Then wait for it to actually be processed and come back in store to pick up and then wait in line again to actually get your prescription. What happened? There MUST be a better way. This review is for the pharmacy only. I was tired of the long lines and lousy customer service, but as a foster parent I needed a pharmacy that took CMDP (the insurance all foster kids have). Now we've adopted my foster son and because he is special needs, he has been placed on AHCCCS. On 01/02/13 my 2yr old son had a severe asthma attack. (Previously his asthma landed him in the hospital for 4 days, and he has been on a nebulizer since he was 7 months old.) His doctor decided not to admit him to the hospital, believing we could keep it under control with breathing treatments. We left with strict instructions to give him the treatments every 4 hours. CVS took 3 hours to fill the prescriptions, which cut it close. Not only that, they told me that I'd have to wait a couple days before their computer records were updated to where they could accept AHCCCS. Obviously my only option without the inhalants would be to take my son to the ER. There was some confusion among the staff- first the pharmacist told me I'd have to pay out of pocket if I wanted the medications that night. Then a pharmacist tech reassured me I wouldn't. Then the pharmacist told me a second time that I'd have to pay out of pocket. I paid $462.67 out of pocket for the medications after the pharmacist promised I could get a refund once their records were updated for AHCCCS. When I got home 01/02/13, I realized that the pharmacist had neglected to give me all 4 prescriptions- I only had 3. When I called, they said they were out of that medication and I would have to wait till 3PM on 01/03/13. (Instead I had the doctor send the prescription to Kmart, and they filled it immediately. With no lines.) On 01/03/13, I went to get my refund, but they would only give me $58.68 for two of the medications. The most expensive medication (one of the inhalants) was $403.99 and required prior authorization from my insurance. At that time the pharmacist kept both my original receipt and the prescription pamphlet. I didn't think anything of it and decided to return in a few days. On 01/08/13, I went back, armed with my credit card statement showing the initial charge of $462.67 and the partial refund of $58.68, my credit card, and my ID. It did me no good. The pharmacist immediately told me she would not give me a refund. I showed her my documentation and explained I didn't have the receipt, but that I'd signed for both the medication and the refund and they should have my name on file. She said (and I quote): "We don't keep those records." I tried to be reasonable, but it didn't work. I tried getting mad, but they blew me off. This is absolutely the worst service I've received at any business in Sierra Vista after living here for more than 25 years. Let's add up all of CVS's mistakes here: 1) took 3 hours to fill a prescription for a 2yr old who couldn't breathe 2) neglected to explain to the client that they were out of one medication, apparently hoping the client wouldn't notice 3) charged a client $462.67 for medications that were covered 100% under the client's insurance 4) kept client's receipt after partial refund of the 100% covered medication 5) told client THEY DON'T KEEP RECORDS of prescription purchases 6) are trying to scam me out of $403.99, which is hardly a drop in the bucket. Avoid this place at all costs. Walgreens has long lines but much better customer service. Kmart so far has been wonderful to me. I will never go to CVS again and my only involvement with them from here on out will be regarding my refund of the money they have stolen. EDIT: After I complained on the CVS website and to the Better Business Bureau, I was connected with a district manager from Tucson, who apologized and told me I could go in and get my refund. When I went to CVS, I was shocked to see that the pharmacist who had treated me so rudely was the PHARMACY MANAGER. I have my refund. Because the district manager helped me, I will not rule out visiting a CVS store in the future, but I will definitely not be returning to the one in Sierra Vista. read more

No stars would be selected if I had it my way. This review is specific to the pharmacy. Very poor customer service in the pharmacy. Long wait lines at both drop-off and pick-up. Noticed two male employees arguing behind the desk about the long customer lines and how to deal with them. No call that our prescription could not be filled after waiting 24hrs from their original lead time. They then told us, after 24hrs, that the prescription was not yet ready to to give them another 15min. After the 15 min wait we arrived back to learn that they never had the ingredients to full fill the prescription in the first place. We left and we very well handled at Wallgreens across the street. read more

when I first decided to switch to this pharmacy I was surprised by how fast they were. But now I'm just annoyed they take forever to fill anything and their hours are always changing. They don't even update online they write it on a piece of paper and slap it on a sign in front of the pharmacy. Kinda inconvenient for us who live 15+miles away and have to drive that far just to find out they are closed. It's like they make their own hours that fit their needs not anyone else's. Thy have been open Saturdays and sundays till 2 pm so I drove all the way to town my meds was all I needed in town so I drove all the way there to find out they now close Saturdays & sundays. I wonder if they remember they are a pharmacy and people need their medication's they can't just come up with all these crazy hours and keep changing them. I left Walmart because I thought they were pretty bad but now I'm thinking bout switching back because atleast their hours are consistent. At this point I wouldn't recommend to anyone. also if your standing in a long line everyone will just watch you in the line and not even try to help the one person trying to get everyone out unless it's close to lunch time or closing then someone will help get the line down. read more

She was so busy helping him that she was not properly ringing up my order. Took twice as long as it should have. Went in to have a prescription filled. My visit was pretty average. There were a couple of people in line but I was helped relatively quickly. The person who rung me up was not particularly friendly nor unfriendly...just there. I have had nothing but delays, wrong prescriptions, and phone calls telling me my RX is ready and get there and it is not, wait and then tell me it will be 48 hr to pick up because they don't have any.
