I waited for 10 minutes at the window to pick up a prescription and nobody acknowledged that I was there. Katie was on the phone and I asked if someone was going to help. With a smirk on her face, she said "I'm on the phone." No "I'm sorry. I'll be with you in a moment." Or, "I'm sorry for the wait but we are so busy. I'll be with you soon." Nothing. She hang up with whoever she was talking and said "we are busy." I said that I would change pharmacies because it is not the first time she has talked to me that way. She said "That is your choice and good luck. All the pharmacies are busy." When I get the prescription they are working on at this location I will change pharmacies, since they don't need my business. I don't need them either. It won't be another Walgreens.

When I get shots at other places, I always get really nervous about the needles--like how much they hurt. But whenever I go to Walgreen's I can even look at the needles when they put them in my skin. Special shout-outs to Katie and Amy because they are REALLY good at giving shots. I never feel the needles when they do it. (Well, of course, sometimes I feel it.) I recommend you try Walgreen's for all shots! Also, they have a lot of prescriptions--both pills and gummies--making it easy for kids to take them. I've seen the shelves before and I've seen like hundreds of prescriptions. So whenever you need a prescription, just go right to Walgreen's and get it.

Their prices are a little on the high end (I can't ever seem to leave spending less than $50) which I would expect from the smaller size company, but that does not deter me. This particular location has their products organized somewhat strange from what I am used to. Take for example, trash bags. Most other stores would place these in the paper good section which would be by the toilet paper / paper towels. In this store they are located in the "Picnic Goods" section which is over by frozen foods section. Again, this is not enough to deter me, but it does cause my trips to this store to take a little longer as I have to walk up and down looking at what is in each aisle. If I had to pick one thing about this location that needs to improve it is their checkouts. More often than not, I find that the lines are long and it takes me 10+ minutes to checkout. My favorite thing about this (and all Martin's) is their produce / meat. Nobody in the area can touch them on their quality. Quite often, my wife and I will buy our can goods from one store and the rest from Martin's because it is worth the extra trip.

They also have their famous SideDoor cafe, which provides hot food like rotisserie chickens, macaroni & cheese, fries, fried chicken and the beloved hoosier fries. Some cold options are also available but for me the draw has always been the panini sandwiches. Delicious bakery items are also available on top of the standard grocery store items. Bathrooms are clean, staff is friendly, and lots of choice options. Biggest down side is how far this location is from me, but the second downside is you do tend to pay a touch more than other spots closer to me. I'll come back, but maybe not for a bit.

It's like WalMart and a grocery store merged together to give you every single thing you might need while on a family vacation. I was grateful! We found everything we needed, from an umbrella stroller for my daughter, to a shower mat for my father-in-law, to lawn chairs, and more. Not to mention, they had every single item on my grocery list (that never happens!) Masks were strictly enforced and staff at the entrance made sure all guests had them on. They also have arrows that show you which way "traffic" should flow down the aisles. Everything was spread out so I never felt like I was too close to someone else. The produce was fresh, the deli had a ton of great food for the beach, and the staff was always willing to answer questions. This one-stop-shop definitely saved me a lot of time and energy while in Michigan!

It's nothing fancy but if you need anything by manner of toiletries, medications (they also have a pharmacy), first aid items, etc they've got it. I've definitely bought my share of aloe more than once here after a wicked sunburn from the beach. They also have a small toy selection, a few self-care/beauty things, etc. Pretty much anything you forgot to throw in your suitcase you can get replaced here. I also absolutely love that they still have the old soda fountain counter in the back. We love going and splitting a soda or a float like we're kids in the 1950s. The one thing I do miss is the large selection they used to have of beach toys and whatnot. Every visit we'd buy a kite to fly at the beach, or something goofy to take to oval like a big beach umbrella, chairs, or blow up floaties. It was always the highlight of our trip and I miss it!

Meijer pharmacy has always been my go to pharmacy.  This location is usually pretty quick and the…read morestaff is always friendly.  I've never had an issue here and will continue coming here.  I must admit I usually come to this location if I have a cold and it's a one time thing.  My lomg term meds usually get sent to the stevensville location since I grocery shop there.  This location is closer to my home but the other meijer itself is better set up to deal with lots of people.  Both pharmacy locations are great though.
