Found this Pharmacy when I needed to pick up a prescription when all the other ones was closed. Great they're open 24 hours which is super convenient. Be prepared to wait as service is quite slow from my experience even when I've gone at different times of the day. Also, I highly suggest making sure your prescription is already filled prior to going to help alleviate some of the lengthy wait time. The store itself is a bit congested with small aisle and looks like one of the older CVS stores. Selections are limited with some things as well. This location is fine if you need to pick up a prescription or a regular item in the store. Other than that I would go to one of the newer nicer locations. Customer Service in there is ok-keep expectations low. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy CVS. I have been to in my whole life. I needed my prescription transferred to this location. I kept calling all morning to verify that they could fill the prescription so I wouldn't waste any time I called and call All morning they left me on hold for at least two hours. Yes, I waited that long, I finally got off work and was able to drive to the location. while I was there I called while I waited in line, still no answer. Finally when it was my turn I asked the assistant pharmacist if their phone was working she said yes, but they are too busy to answer any phones that if she took the time to answer the phone but she wouldn't be able to help me so I responded no if you picked up the phone you would have been able to help me and prevented me from coming here to ask a question, she then proceeds to say well if any of my other associate side stop to answer the phone then no one would get the job done. I think that is his poor mentality and what's the point of a phone if you're not going to pick it up doctors in all sorts of medical professionals call pharmacies all the time to make sure the medication of Paul correctly and feel correctly, and if you're not answering the phone and you're only doing half your job mind you there were over five people working not acceptable. I refilled my prescription online and it said it would be ready on 03/27/23 @ 3pm. I tried to pick it up and the cashier told me my total and asked if it was ready and the pharmacist said no. I could pick it up tomorrow. I explained my account stated it was filled and ready to be picked up. He was the most rude disrespectful person I've ever known to work in a respectful job as his. His attitude then spread to the whole staff. The next day when I went to pick it up the lady said I could on the 1st. I went online and they had changed it stating it was now filled on the 1st, a day that hasn't even came yet. I called CVS online and they provided no help. I filed with the pharmacy board, the national board of pharmacists, the BBB. I live an hour away from that pharmacy. CVS has a 2 day rule as a promoting factor for their company which they do not honor. They also don't honor the information for customers about the pharmacists and their license number hanging in a general area for customers to see. In fact I asked the lady today for her name and she wouldn't tell me nor would she tell me her license number. I believe she didn't have one but that's neither here nor there. It was the worst experience all around and it will never happen again. I will transfer my prescription after I finally get the one that was filled on 03-27/23, like my online account said. read more

I waited in line at the pharmacy for a prescription for 30 minutes that I was alerted was ready 1 hour prior to my arrival . Unfortunately this experience was a disappointment . Nasty! Store is completely nasty! I was with my toddlers and they needed to use the restroom. I asked the pharmacy employee for direction. After he handed me a key, once I turn the bathroom light on, nasty with a capital N. Floor black! Sink black! Toilet nasty! Toilet paper everywhere except where it should be! Open 24 hours, directly across the street from Southern Regional Hospital on Upper Riverdale Road. Pharmacy inside Medium to large size store, friendly staff, the manger approached me and asked if I needed help, of course I replied no, and then a short time later needed help after all. Was so glad he didnt say...Oh so u do need some help or some other smart ass comment Easy check out, and the lady waited until I gave her my CVS card before she began ringing purchases and even informed me that an item I was buying was buy one get one free with my CVS card, so I didnt miss out on the free item, because as I see, CVS doesnt cut the price in half when they do B1G1, they take the entire amount off, so if thats the case, you miss out if you dont get the free item. Small parking lot for what it seems the volume of traffic is for the store, but no complaints on customer service whatsoeva! read more

I waited over ten minutes in the drive through only to have to go in at 8 am on a Saturday morning. My leg is broke that was the purpose of the drive through. CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - Riverdale, Georgia

The only reason I use this location is that with my insurance my payments are so much lower. Service.... no such thing. The waiting time at the drive-through is terrible. I pulled in around 8:30 am with no other cars in the line. It took over 17 minutes for them to service me on my pickup. I called them with the push-button below the window with no response except once when they said they would be right with me. 10 minutes later they came to the window. They had looked out and noticed me at least three times during the 17-minute wait. Cars started lining up behind me then started going around and walking into the store. I try to get information on the phone also with a long wait. At 11:20 pm I was on hold with no answer until I hung up at 12:05 am. That was a 45 minute wait. Another time I waited for 57 minutes with no one picking up to serve me. I have had the same results at other CVS stores in my area, namely the one on Tara Boulevard in Jonesboro. They don't care very much for the customers. If you call in to check on a dropped off prescription you must give them the Rx number to check on it. If it's a new prescription you have yet to get a number. You cannot get any other information from the computerized phone information. I am very near going back to Walgreens which I had for well over 20 years. Their customer service is excellent though the prescription charges are a little higher. read more
