This store was right down the street from where we were staying at The DeSoto so we all ended up there multiple times over our stay for water, snacks, and White Claws. I will say the only downside is that the pricing on everything was a little high but the housewares was a little cray-cray. We were admiring a green resin bowl and decided we didn't need to spend $30 on a bowl at the gas station. At the last minute, we said, what the hell, we're on vacation, let's get it. As I scanned it at the self checkout, I saw that it came up as $130... which had to be a mistake RIght?!? When we double checked we noticed that the 1 in the 130 was written in by hand. I'm guessing because their pricing gun doesn't go above 2 digits... because why would it. I know you're the fancy Parkers but damnnnnn!

This store in particular is fairly large with a pretty expansive format, but a lot of the merchandising left me confused. For instance, I was looking for lemonade, and I noticed that it is carried in 3 to 4 different locations across the produce juice and deli sections. It made it extremely frustrating trying to figure out whether or not they carried Milo's lemonade, which I eventually discovered they carried every milo's product except the lemonade??? Not really sure what the rationale behind that is given the lemonade is the most popular sku in the brand. Anyway, I digress. The second thing that I find a little challenging with Publix is understanding what the actual deals are standing at shelf. I couldn't really tell what was on sale, what wasn't and what the real values were. I'm assuming this information is probably buried in a sales flyer, which I probably need to pick up the next time. That being said, I found overall service in the store to be decent but even given the number of employees walking around in the store I don't think I've was ever really been greeted or offered help without asking first. Definitely a location and a brand that is going to have to grow on me.

Stopped by this Circle K which is much like other Circle K's in that it is clearly aging and appear…read morerather obvious that it is a left over remnant of what was once large enough to be second only to 7-Eleven. But that is no more as the major oil companies started with their own convenience stores sending Circle K into decline. This one looks like it could use some sprucing up, but it was clean enough and its inventory was in good order. I purchased several items here and the wait staff were totally friendly and polite. However, rest assured this is no Wawa or Sheetz.

My first call to them was wonderful. The person that quoted me the pricing was friendly and courteous, unlike another imaging center I called in town whose administrative staff was rude and uncooperative. So, the cash pricing was competitive and made it worth it for me to drive from out of town. It was also very easy to schedule and appt after talking to my doctor. Remember, I was the one to chose this center, not my doctor. At the appointment, the waiting time was less than 5 minutes. That's a strong selling point for me, because it tells me that they value my time. It also tells me they are well organized. Additionally, the staff was friendly and professional. The place is clean and quite. I hope they will continue to offer such great service and competitive pricing.
