The Pharmacy is at a major junction on the L train so expect a long line. I waited in line for 45 minutes for them to slam the door down and say they can't help me right on the dot at 6 o'clock. It doesn't take much to just set a cut off for people waiting in line and finish helping them for the day. My prescription is super important to my day to day and I was out. I even called ahead to make sure everything would be smooth and have no problems. Show up it's not ready after calling and confirming twice with them. I get that it's busy and the hours are the hours but if I do my part I want them to do theirs. read more

Located under the train track overpass for the L and M trains near the subway entrance it's convenient if you need something in a pinch. The worst. Line for prescription pick up is never less than a 20 minute wait. After receiving notification that the prescription was ready and waiting 20 minutes was told they can't find it. Told to move over to another line to wait 10 more minutes to talk to the pissy, rude pharmacist. Given a partial of my 90 day supply. When I went back to pick up the remainder. I had the same process start again. This time I was pissed. The pharmacist treated me like it was my fault and was actually called derogatory names by both the pharmacist and the "security". Store manager didn't care, corporate sent a form letter saying I would be contacted. 2 weeks no response. I cannot find 1 person who has anything good to say about this pharmacy. Not trusting my medical needs to this poorly run place. Won't even get a pack of gum from this company. read more

This is the absolute worst pharmacy. One of the pharmacy technicians was an absolute jerk. She was judgmental and rude when I tried to pick up something OTC and asked why I don't get a prescription as if incompetent doctors and pharmacy back orders aren't a thing..... This location will do everything within its power to inconvenience you. Their store phone operation is meant to put you in circles until the point you have to either give up or it just ends the call on you, and even if you can somehow reach a representative, they're gonna be the least helpful person ever. Do not send your prescriptions here unless it's an absolute last resort. Awful experiences abound here. read more

I do love me some CVS-style deals. For instance, last night I went to buy shampoo and found the Alberto bottles -- literally on the bottom, natch -- on sale for 75 cents apiece when you buy two. What?! In a world (or a city, at least) that increasingly resembles a billionaires' playground, it's a refreshing change of pace to find a retail outlet that caters to the budget-minded consumer that comprises the neighborhoods surrounding the Myrtle/Wyckoff subway stop. They've got craft beers and milk by the gallon. Could you possibly need anything else? Well, they have pantyhose, too. On top of that, they have also stopped selling tobacco products out of concern for their customers' health and in alignment with their mission as a health-related corporation. No, I don't love that it's a major retain chain, but it's a welcome addition to the 'hood. Now, if only they put enough cashiers on duty for any given time, this place would be a hit! read more

They did everything they could to get my out of pocket price down and we're communicative and nice the whole time. they have a chronically understaffed pharmacy, the line is normally 30 mins long. cvs (i assume) pays for exclusive rights to act as the sole pharmacy provider for at least aetna, so i have to use cvs. there's a rite aid next door that's always empty. their app is pretty buggy too so a few times i've been notified that a prescription is ready, i've waited in line like 30-40 mins to be told they have no record of it. go literally anywhere else. read more

The clerk at the pharmacy is so nasty and mean. She was so unhelpful. She asked me for the insurance card to fill a prescription and told me to go home and get it and came back. I said I filled the prescription here before and they should have the record. She said it's not in their system. So I went home to go get it and when I did and came back, an other clerk helped me out in the order line and said I didn't need the insurance info because it was already in the system. The first rep even stated some of the prescription I wanted to fill was out of stock. Which wasn't true. She was incompetent to look into the system and in mean tone told me she doesn't know when they will get the prescription. Thankfully the other person that works here was kind and helpful. The other rep offered to help me and told me pharmacy put in the incorrect prescription / info. The second rep found the insurance info and stated they have the prescriptions in stock. Mind you his round trip took me over one hour and two additional trips on the subway bc I had to go back and forth twice. So I waited another 15 mins for the prescription to be filled. When I went to the pharmacy pickup window to pickup the prescription, the first rep was still there and she even try to ask me if I got the prescription card when the prescription was right next to her to give it to me. She even made me wait in line again to pay for it. So I made a trip back home to get a card that wasn't needed and waited in the same two different lines twice. Order line and pickup line. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST CVS PHARMACY. Please please run far far away! It is very busy but that isn't the issue, it's the staff. I came here to fill a prescription and they gave me a wait time - no problem! I stepped to the side and waited. Once that period of time was up, I went to inquire if it was ready because no one had called that it was. Once I did go to inquire, the woman employee was very dismissive and quite frankly rude. In addition to asking about the readiness of the prescription I've been waiting for, there was an inhaler that couldn't be filled. When expressing that this inhaler that was prescribed to me couldn't be filled , she put a paper on the counter and said rudely, "Your prescription doesn't cover this inhaler, I need you to get this other inhaler prescribed because your insurance covers it" and points to the paper , while staring at her damn computer screen. No eye contact, no other proper communication, no information provided such as THE COST OF THE INHALER WITHOUT INSURANCE COVERAGE. Separately back to the other prescription that I had been waiting for . Come to find out it had been ready , and had I not asked I would have been standing around for a LONG ASS TIME. So I step to another desk where she directs me to an employee named Israel to help me next because my prescription is now ready. (They call us waiters by the way) I can check out ! I can go home yay! Not so yay- Israel briefly acknowledged me and said "I'll check for you just let me help this person first" That interaction of him helping that customer took way longer than it would for him to help me by simply GRABBING THE MEDS AND RINGING IT UP. After he helped this gentleman, HE PROCEEDED TO START HELPING ANOTHER CUSTOMER. At this point I was livid, and had to ask if he was able to check as I was waiting for another additional 15 minutes. And finally he got the prescription and rung me up. Absolutely disgusting and so rude. RUN TO ANOTHER CVS PHARMACY PLEASE . Besides the actual monstrosity and atrociousness of the so called "service" provided at this cvs pharmacy by the staff, the actual cvs store and customer service of the cvs employees (NOT THE ONES AT THE PHARMACY) is pretty amazing! Customer service here is utter garbage. Never offered any assistance when walking through and past employees. They're too busy doing the truck and ripping boxes. Had a few times where I was looking at some items and had an employee following me around as if I was going to steal something but not ask if I needed help. Ok so I've been waiting to rate this cvs for a while. A couple of months ago I actually stopped going bc of such bad experiences. Since this place has opened the people (not all) have been rude ABSOLUTELY unprofessional and just not right for any business. I finally had to go in recently for some things and saw that this one gentlemen who I always avoided (reason I didn't want to come in) wasn't at the register. And a couple days and times after I went again and he still wasn't there, which was great bc this gentleman was so rude so obnoxious and unprofessional. I had complained once to a manager because this is a place I would come on a regular and didn't want my visit to be ruined by one rude employee. I gave this cvs a 4 star bc I think the manager was well aware of the problem and the unprofessional environment. The employees I have encountered this past weeks have been GREAT! Please note that I'm reviewing this particular location - my overall satisfaction with CVS Pharmacy in general is OK. This CVS, on Myrtle-Wyckoff L/M stop in Bushwick, is simply the worst! They just don't care - they genuinely DO NOT CARE, folks. They always fail to apply coupons and then their reaction is like: "Yeah... It's not showing up... Bummer". "Bummer"??! Seriously??! My husband just called them the other day to ask if they can order a TDaP vaccine for us. OF COURSE they never called back to follow up, even though they promised to. Then he called again yesterday just to be told "Yeah... we're not going to be able to do that for you". (No apologies/explanation, nothing!) So my husband asked them again "So now what?", to which the pharmacist responded: "Well, maybe you can go to a different pharmacy". ????!!!!!?! Got a flu shot earlier today, very friendly and professional. Was nervous getting a shot but she (didn't get both their namesone helping me with registering and one administering the shot) was quick, understanding and informative. An overdue review in regards to scripts, but I always get my prescriptions here, even tho there can be a line, there are pharmacists that are understanding and helpful esp when I had gaps in my insurance coverage... Having previously worked in the medical field I know pharmacies, well medical facilities in general aren't perfect (and basically can have their hands tied due to politics of insurance, policies, etc )but there are good pharmacists/medical professionals out there and just wanna share my appreciation read more

If you can avoid this place and go accords the street to Duane Reade I highly suggest it. The pharmacy staff is undoubtably the worst I've had to deal with. They let my RX sit on a counter for two hours and then gave me such a hard time saying there was no way my doctor called it in because it wasn't in their system. They acted like I was the one who was ridiculous when I said I was actually with the doctor when he called. After about fifteen minutes and multiple calls from my doctor, they found the prescription on their desk.
