This afternoon I drove to Walgreens to purchase a few items. The store was messy with carts…read moreholding merchandise that needed to be placed on the shelves. Two carts were left in the aisles blocking the path so only one person could pass down a portion of the aisles. A lot of the merchandise that was supposed to be on sale was not available which was disappointing. I asked the cashier for a price check on an item that was in a box listed at a lower price than was displayed on the package. He didn't do a price check he told me the price was the price listed on the item. The price on the box the item was in was wrong. He was not very pleasant. I came home an deleted my Walgreens account on-line and will never step into a Walgreens again. If I could have rated the store at zero stars I would have done so!

I noticed that a lot of things were locked up in the soap, detergent, & ethnic hair care aisle. That's very annoying! I was able to quickly find my things and proceed to the check out. The cashier was NOT very friendly, but she did her job. Maybe she had a rude customer right before me. I don't know. If I'm ever in the area again, I will be back. It wasn't the worst experience I've ever had.

He waited about five minutes before the photo area employee even acknowledged him. When she finally did, he explained he wanted to print pictures from his phone, and her response was, "You're a big boy, you can figure it out." Is this what passes for customer service now? I'm completely disgusted. He didn't get her name, but it should be easy to find out since it was early in the morning. I'll be spreading the word about this blatant disregard for helping someone. It makes me question why she's even working there if she lacks the basic customer service skills needed to interact with people daily. I hope she's reprimanded, as I doubt this was the first time she's refused to assist a customer. Gloucester has lost my business for good, and I'll make sure others know about their lack of customer service.

Then the last time I went to get my RX filled I was told it would be done at 5pm, I showed up & was told that the employee was new & my prescription actually hasn't even been placed for fill.... Then I call my Dr only to find out she sent it not once but twice & asked me to call her when I got to the pharmacy if there were any further issues. I get back to riteaid only to find out the employee was looking under refill vs new order. (Idk how any of this works, just going off what her coworker said). I'm not sure if this location is under manned & my intention isn't to dog them or to be rude.. my hope is that someone sees this & actually cares what people are dealing with. I'm asking for management to step up & make a positive change. If they need more training, give it to them. If they are facing hardship, talk to them. If they are short provide for them. Because your customers are suffering badly. It's beyond ridiculous.

It is time for a review to see how things have been. These days, it's just me picking up meds here since Sophia transferred hers to another pharmacy. Again, drive-thru is used. For some stops, the line can be a bit long, but since I pick my stuff up after work, it's no bother. From ordering on the Walgreens app, medications are ready for pickup either on the same day or the next depending on availability of supply. Unfortunately, my diabetes meds had to transfer to mail delivery for another provider due to the prescription, but nonetheless, everything else has been efficient. Walgreens will continue to be a reliable source for pickup. Till next time :)

They are so kind and comforting when necessary. One of the pharmacist, male, took time out of his day off to check on my kiddo after her flu vaccine. He did not have to do that, but it was comforting to have a feeling that we were not just another customer. He was gentle and kind. It's seems that the pharmacy goes above and beyond. Shopping here has always been great. Items are organized and pricing is comparable to other stores in the surrounding area.

When it was my turn to pay for these items, the counter pharmacy clerk young lady with long hair and glasses stated, could you pay for these at the front cashier? I responded well I am already in line. I asked her, you mean you can't pay for this here? She stated yes, you could. My thoughts are...why would you make a customer go to another line and wait some more? What difference does it make whether a customer pays at the front or at pharmacy checkout? Why so bureaucratic? My most recent experience was going to the ER on a Saturday night and needing my meds on Sunday. They are closed. Then waiting til 9am when they opened they didn't have anything prepared. My son went to grab my medication at 10am after my husband went to the store as soon as they opened. They gave my son one medication and he came home. He didn't realize that they missed one. I then go to my MyChart and I get a text from Walgreens asking if I'd like to fill my other prescription...from SATURDAY! YES! My son goes back and she says that it hasn't been filled because it's "going through the system". Does this take more than 2 days to do that? I'll be switching my pharmacy ASAP!

I then kindly let the employee know that their website was wrong, after saying this said employee outright ignored me. However this employee looked like they did have a position of power at this store. I do understand the website most likely is not ran by the employee, but pointing out an error on their website should not be ignored and least acknowledge the problem. After looking at other reviews i'm not suprised at all by the customer service.
