This afternoon I drove to Walgreens to purchase a few items. The store was messy with carts…read moreholding merchandise that needed to be placed on the shelves. Two carts were left in the aisles blocking the path so only one person could pass down a portion of the aisles. A lot of the merchandise that was supposed to be on sale was not available which was disappointing. I asked the cashier for a price check on an item that was in a box listed at a lower price than was displayed on the package. He didn't do a price check he told me the price was the price listed on the item. The price on the box the item was in was wrong. He was not very pleasant. I came home an deleted my Walgreens account on-line and will never step into a Walgreens again. If I could have rated the store at zero stars I would have done so!

I noticed that a lot of things were locked up in the soap, detergent, & ethnic hair care aisle. That's very annoying! I was able to quickly find my things and proceed to the check out. The cashier was NOT very friendly, but she did her job. Maybe she had a rude customer right before me. I don't know. If I'm ever in the area again, I will be back. My most recent experience was going to the ER on a Saturday night and needing my meds on Sunday. They are closed. Then waiting til 9am when they opened they didn't have anything prepared. My son went to grab my medication at 10am after my husband went to the store as soon as they opened. They gave my son one medication and he came home. He didn't realize that they missed one. I then go to my MyChart and I get a text from Walgreens asking if I'd like to fill my other prescription...from SATURDAY! YES! My son goes back and she says that it hasn't been filled because it's "going through the system". Does this take more than 2 days to do that? I'll be switching my pharmacy ASAP!

I then kindly let the employee know that their website was wrong, after saying this said employee outright ignored me. However this employee looked like they did have a position of power at this store. I do understand the website most likely is not ran by the employee, but pointing out an error on their website should not be ignored and least acknowledge the problem. After looking at other reviews i'm not suprised at all by the customer service.

I actually almost bypassed this since I am not from the area. I apologize to anyone that was behind me when I cut across three lanes to make this turn. We all made it...again, I'm sorry. Came inside and made my way to the sections I needed. Grabbed everything. Prices are higher because it is CVS, but having no other place to grab this at, you have no other choice. Coming from the beach, and suffering from a sunburn, I also needed something to ease that pain. Luckily for me, they had a display set up so browsing for that was easy. Opted for the self checkout on the way out. This was a pretty quick stop.

To compound the issue their staff is almost universally unfriendly. I don't know how they do this without going to training to act a board with customers. The icing on the cake is how difficult it is to change stores. I recently moved from one city to another and when I attempted to move my prescriptions from one CVS Pharmacy to another they flat out told me it would be easier I just got every doctor to send brand new prescriptions to the new pharmacy. It is time for a review to see how things have been. These days, it's just me picking up meds here since Sophia transferred hers to another pharmacy. Again, drive-thru is used. For some stops, the line can be a bit long, but since I pick my stuff up after work, it's no bother. From ordering on the Walgreens app, medications are ready for pickup either on the same day or the next depending on availability of supply. Unfortunately, my diabetes meds had to transfer to mail delivery for another provider due to the prescription, but nonetheless, everything else has been efficient. Walgreens will continue to be a reliable source for pickup. Till next time :)

I come to pick it up at 6:30 and it's not ready yet. How?! I told her the lady told me it'd be ready at 5 and she just repeated "its not quite ready yet." Eyeroll. I often find better deals here now in their weekly circulars than at Food Lion, and the produce is ALWAYS much better than Food Lion. I like that they have many, many niche items -- stuff not many people probably want, but I appreciate. For example, the red velvet cake pettifors I got for my birthday - SO good, and they keep longer than regular cake, so I can enjoy them slowly. And really, the customer service can't be beat - the staff is always friendly and helpful. I accidentally left one of my bags recently, and by the time I got home and realized it, I figured it was a lost cause. Called over to the store, and the service desk had it for me! Overall still a great shopping experience.
