Needed meds to be filled. I was told they have them. I go to pick them up and they only had 10 of 30. Thanks for wasting my time. I could have gone to a different location and gotten them by today had I been told the truth. I have to say that I never really think much about a pharmacy. You go in to get some hair spray or pick up a prescription but this particular location, the staff is awesome. Jessica is one of the pharmacy staff and managed to get me a super expensive migraine medication on a program that the maker give to folks who cant get approved for it. I feel like she went out of her way for me. What awesome service, and she isnt the only one. Almost everyone there is genuinely concerned about you and wants to help. I've visited this CVS a handful of times when I need to stop for some kind of over the counter medications or first aid. You will pay a little more here, but sometimes the convenience is worth the cost when you are sick and just want to get in and get out. CVS has their own line of generics, so you might even save a buck. The few times I've been here, I always have to wait in line. During my most recent visit, I had a customer in back of me practically breathing tobacco down my neck until I could pay for my stuff. I started to choke a little from the smoke trail she carried with her. I had barely received my bag to leave before she leaned over the counter and practically screamed, "MARLBORO LIGHTS." Easy to get in and out. But you might have to wait in line with some of Plainfield's degenerates. read more

So many problems with this pharmacy from never receiving notifications when prescriptions are ready for pick up to receiving rancid medication. No sort of customer centric from the pharmacist. I would be willing to drive double the distance to go to another CVS in lieu of having to come here. read more

Sorry for the lousy photo. It was a gloomy day and I was actually on Rt. 59. Anyway, this is the closest Pharmacy to my house, and it pretty much rates the same as all CVS Pharmacies, but if you are trying to get to this business from E/B 119th Street, good luck! You have to go through the parking lot of the businesses to the west of it, and weave around a bit through the parking lot. So take that into account when you are P'd off driving around just trying to get a bottle of Advil. read more

Very unfriendly. I switched from the Bolingbrook CVS to this one because it was more convenient. It Didn't take me long to decide an extra 5-10min was worth dealing with polite and helpful people. The Bolingbrook location is the best CVS I've ever worked with. I am going to have to go out of my way to get all of my families prescription transferred back, but it will be worth my time. I would never recommend this CVS location. It's too bad the people who work there are so rude because for most people it is their first and probably last experience they will have with CVS. Give the Bolingbrook location a try because they are awesome!! read more

The worst pharmacy ever. Staff is rude and will cut you off as you speak. Sometimes will even yell at you. Never have anything available but the anything that you can get over the counter. My advice never get anything from this location or CVS in general. They make walmart look great. That's all I have to say. read more

This CVS has the best employees ever, especially Emilee. Imagine walking in and immediately being slapped in the face with beauty. That's the experience you get when you walk into this CVS. You are immediately greeted with her face that is equivalent to Aphrodite. You'd be surprised that she doesn't model. Her kindness? Out of this world. Impeccable. Divine. This has been the worst CVS Pharmacy. The pharmacist and staff is rude, disrespectful, unfriendly and unhelpful. The price for even the prescription drugs are higher than the other CVS branch!! Rudest location avoid and go to the new one with much better hours on south eola( Aurora) . At the plainfield rt. 59 location you will get the slowest rudest treatment you ever got at a drug store in your life...this is based on more than 5 trips...I go to other cvs locations never have problems now. read more

Overpriced. Go a few blocks south to 24-hour Walmart, get stuff half the cost. It took me a few times to figure it out. I just go to CVS for my prescriptions. Nothing else. read more

I was forced to switch by my insurance company from Walgreens to CVS a few years ago which I understood. BUT....I have had issues from about 3 months in. The lack of staff in the pharmacy, the continued rude behavior of the staff in the pharmacy and then this week was kind of the last straw for me. This week my mom went to fill a prescription for my brother and the pharmacist took it upon themself to decide that he didn't need the increase in medication--clear change in med dosage and he NEEDS IT!!!--instead the pharmacist called the office my brother doesn't visit and spoke with a nurse who has never seen him or been around him and made the decision without speaking to the Dr who wrote the script that he didn't need it until the other script ran out. Well my brother is miserable and unable to function. When my mom called to figure out what was going on she had to play around the world to figure out what was going on. It was out of this world to see someone go beyond their in the worst way possible. The Dr wrote the script for a reason and the pharmacist didn't even get that the med was no longer working at the current written dosage due to a recent weight gain and that's why it was increased....no the pharmacist didn't care enough to talk to the Dr and figure out what was going on. When my mom called the pharmacist brushed her off and was rude as all get out...which is what I have experienced more than once with this same pharmacist. My Mom is reporting this CVS location and this pharmacist to the board. If you can avoid this location. I am switching my meds as soon as possible. Hell this location has sent me home with someone else medications on multiple locations. No care in the fricking world when I brought them back or who made the mistake.... I will not be surprised when I hear that someone dies from a mistake this location makes. read more

Slow pharmacy. 5 people in line. Pharmacy tech does not acknowledge waiting customers. I received texts that my rx was ready for a few days, but they did not have it ready when I came. Forced me to wait 20 minutes. Unfortunately, my insurance makes me come here. Nearest cvs is a 30 minute drive from here. I want to go back to Walgreen's. read more

They are friendly but i seem to always have a problem with cvs, never have a problem at osco. Tonight i look on the internet said open until 10 even had under yes were open. I get there and there is a sign no pharmacist on duty can't fill scripts it wasn't even 9 yet. My wives company switched to cvs or i would never use them. I do get my pain pills from osco cvs told me its a state law i can't drop them off early, now i know i can't get them early. So i go to osco no problem i drop them off about a week in advance make sure they have them in stock never have a problem. When i used to get them filled at cvs and they didn't have them that day i had to wait and was in a lot of pain without my pills. read more

I switched from Walgreen's to CVS for 2015 due to insurance reasons and have had nothing but hassles and headaches from CVS. Their online system doesn't sync up with the actual pharmacy and the service is poor. I moved because my insurance offered a 20% prescription discount for using CVS/Caremark, but the 20% savings isn't worth the hassle. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

I only gave 2 stars because the pharmacist put me ahead of everyone else and got my medicine right away as I was really sick and needed to wait. Otherwise I would have gave them 1 star!! Unfortunately, the majority ( not all) of the clerks are terrible!! They don't smile at all and I get the feeling they hate their job! I go here because its the closest but if I don't need it right away I go to Walgreen's instead! Several times they were out of my medicine and told me it would be 2 days before they would have it in.
