I stopped using CVS in Roxborough because their prices are always more than other pharmacies even using Good RX they are the highest price. When i chose my prescription plan it was a different plan and was taken over by Aetna. I hate Aetna because they are always highest price. I call it CORPORATE GREED. In addition to the price the CVS pharmacy is run poorly and very annoying to use. Other pharmacies answer phones quickly but CVS puts a customer through too much aggravation and long wait periods. This is a great location. Very big parking lot, great workers and has quite a lot of good quality medicines and items. What's the problem? I decided to do my COVID test here. The test was explained thoroughly by the nurse and it was really easy to do. I did my test on Sunday October 18th, it's now Thursday October 22nd. I was told I would get my results 2-3 days and I am yet to hear something. I've called and spoken to their customer care who gave me the "it's backed up." I understand that, but friends of mine who took this test after me got their results before me! That's crazy. I also signed up for the MyChart App, but it is completely useless, unless they update your results. I'm hoping I get my results tomorrow, but I don't know what else to do. This is ridiculous that I don't know if I'm positive or not. read more

I am a frequent customer of CVS Port Royal Ave, Roxborough. My problem with the store is that the pharmacy makes so many mistakes. They text me to pick up prescriptions that are not due for months and waste my time having to call them all of the time to correct, which they hardly ever do correct which means another phone call and waiting for 10-15 minutes to talk to someone. Many times after telling them that doctor discontinued this med they still continue to text me and waste my valuable time. I decided to ignore the mistakes and only respond to the correct ones. I think some of the people who work here don't really care and just want to get the person off the phone. I wish CVS corporate office would check on their pharmacies for accuracy more. The store itself is good & very clean. It is the just the pharmacy that needs correcting. read more

I don't usually shop at CVS, but when I do, it's at this one. There is plenty of parking here, and the store is always pristine. The pharmacists here are also super nice and always smiling. It's really a pleasant store to shop in. They also have a drive-thru pharmacy, which is quite convenient. Overall, I recommend this location. read more

There are 3 CVS's along a 2 mile stretch of Ridge Ave. I think they could have thrown in a Walgreens, because all the Rite Aids are s***. My fave CVS is this one. The pharmacy people know me and are always friendly. I like the people that work there for the most part. The best feature of this store is the self-check out. As a couponer (CVS encourages it), I can park myself in front of one of these terminals and check out without pissing off the people behind me in line. The only negative I can think of is that they don't have a dedicated clearance section. Like some of the other chains. Hey, sometimes you just want to paw through cr** no one would buy in a million years. It's in the constitution! :-) And they have a Red Box machine outside. read more

The girls at this location are great! Candy is always so sweet when I come in and always chats it up with my three year old. Dana the young manager is always in such a good mood and never makes me feel like I'm being a bother with my 500 coupons and all my transactions. Haha I never have an issue here and I'm always well taken care of! I've moved away from this store location 2 years ago but it's still the only one I'll go to! I know pharmacist job are stressful and boring so their performance is not always smooth, but at this location I encountered not one but two's, and they're dumb. First's, she didn't consider the time zone difference, I transferred from the PAC time zone, and the small mom & pop store opens at 10 Am PAC, means 1 PM EST. She's so upset and certainly that the phone number I gave her was absolutely was a bad number. I called myself, they have a recordings telling their hours. What they're missing is telling the hours are PAC, though I told CVS their address as well. Besides who buy medicines out of state? Except traveling? Second's, a young pharmacist didn't know much has to ask some body and forgot to answer my very basic question "Does my plan covers?". When I asked, shows his impoliteness. I will transfer to Rite Aide, if my new plan is covered. I've been with Rite Aide before, they're better than CVS, my opinion. read more
