This pharmacy is completely incompetent. The bare minimum is a customer service and a smile and they can't be bothered to do either well. I have had my Children's medications here due to Walgreens terminating their contract with Aetna and Walgreens does a better job with pt care. They are constantly disgruntled. The pharmacy tech with the chubby cheeks is never helpful. The pharmacist with the hard to understand Nigerian accent is bothered when you are looking to resolve a medication problem. The prescription was sent over w the child's name misspelled but the birthdate is correct. They ended up receiving it, telling me that it was misspelled and put it back on the shelf after it wasn't picked up. I wasn't even aware that they located it after all my calls and being yelled at by said thick accent Dr. I called several times on different days about this and the clinic resent it twice. I went today for different scripts and the pharmacist asked me to circle around so she could re-run the script. I pointed out that the pt portion was an incorrect financial amount. She said it would take a bit. There were 7 cars behind me. I opted to go in and it was ready by the time I walked up with no one at the counter. Jennifer or Sarah or whatever basic name the current white coat was given could have just ran it through as it was fairly quick. I am in health care, we go out of our way for pts. No one looked for my child's name after calling or tried to resolve the problem. They yelled, IT NOT HERE!! It's all in customer service. The CVS was shut down in the Heights and they should do the same to the Olympia fields store. I call scripts for my Dr to this pharmacy and they don't give better care to other health establishments either. They're rude on the phone when you call a script in and say leave it on the voicemail. My family moved to a more proficient pharmacy with people that are aware of how to complete their jobs and how to help patients and health care workers. We even pulled this store from our list to call in Rx's. We refuse to deal with their staff and give out paper scripts if you go to this pharmacy. Definitely bad for business CVS. read more

What a dump. This place sells beat up merchandise and will not reduce the price when it's the only item available on the shelf. The box was bashed in and one side was open. This was a hygiene product. Not sanitary or sellable to the public. My 87 year old mother needed it ASAP so I got stuck paying full price for something that should have been pulled from the shelf and disposed of. Cashier said they don't discount damage merchandise, than go in the back storage room and get the customer a sealed new product. Not a fan of their pharmacy either. I stand in line at the pharmacy counter as their full attention is on the hugh line at the drive-up window. People in the store should not have to wait for a car that is fifth in line. read more

Bathrooms are soooo dirty! Covid vaccine procedure is soooo unorganized. The cvs app is where you are supposed to check in upon arrival for your Covid vaccine. That doesn't work, so you stand in two lines which were quite long. read more

Since they've gone to self check-out the service has gone totally downhill. I needed assistance at the self check-out to buy some ibuprofen and the cashier on duty was actually asleep behind the counter. I had to literally wake him up to help me, and he was super mad at me for it...unbelievable from a company who's name is Customer Value.... read more

A CVS that actually had a sale item in stock on the first day of the sale! Clean and looks like a well stocked store. They even had their Halloween items out already, and most stores are still not ready to put their Halloween items out and it's Labor day. I wish this store was closer to me. I'd definitely shop here more often. read more

Had a medication call in from a visit to the doctor for my daughter on Thursday afternoon. And you know we want our children to get well soon. I was waiting for the text message to come through that the medication was ready. I decided to go to get the medication because they would be close soon. I was told that it was not ready yet, it will be a few minutes and can I pull around. I did what was ask of me. After sitting in the parking lot for about 15 minutes, I drove around to get the medicine only to be told that they did not have any and that it will not be ready until tomorrow by 3pm. Next day by 6pm I still had not heard from the pharmacy. Decided to give them a call to be only to be told that they did have it in stock still. So I asked if there is another CVS that had it in stock. They were great in giving me two options, and I selected the closer one to me. Once I arrive to pick up the prescription, I was told that it was not at that location. It was at a TOTALLY different CVS that was not even an orginal option!!!! And they were closing in eight(8) minutes!!! The pharmacist was wonderful at the CHICAGO HEIGHTS!!! He filled my child's prescription!!!! Thank you soooooo much!!!
