When asked to select a store (must do to continue), I entered zip code 48858 (2 stores in this zip code) was given the message "there's no store within 50 miles"! I then typed in the exact address and the same message popped up. So, I couldn't get the refill and am now out of my med. I left Walgreens pharmacy previously due to the same sort of complication. Now, I'll try CVS. It's a pathetic situation when trying to fill an Rx online with any Walgreens location. You've been warned!

They may not always have what I need in stock but are willing to help me find it if that's the case. I imagine it's been pretty difficult to be a pharmacist in these last few years but you wouldn't know it by looking at the pharmaceutical staff at this Walgreens because, as far as patients are concerned, they take everything in stride. You can tell they really care about the work they do and the people they serve. Thanks for all your help, guys. Now, of course I just had to investigate for myself and for the people to decide. What I discovered: 1. Meijer's floral department is waaaay fresher! You can smell their fragrance throughout the store which will put you in the mood for a little 1 stop shopping. 2. They offered sale items, which if you don't usually use Gain laundry detergent "On Sale" will change your mind. 3. The prices on clothes was a shock and looked less of quality than Walmart. Walmart is really starting to suck but if you follow Business News it's explainable. 4. Meijer's had a person posted up at the entrance door to help guide you to the correct department if you're just running in and quickly out. 5. More staff visible to assist. Those are just a few differences I noticed if you have reasons why refuse not to shop at Walmart. As I keep saying, WE like options and DON'T have to put up with sucky service! My SIL did need help, and Phil found the item on his tablet and offered to go get it. He was back in a flash with the item and we continued shopping. When we got to the checkout, there was Phil again, and he rang up our orders. The whole time we were with him he was casually talking and joking with us. Phil was just so helpful and friendly. As I left the store I noticed my vehicle was the only one in the parking lot. I checked the store hours and realized they had closed a half hour ago. Phil never said anything, the girl at the door never said anything, there was no pressure to hurry up and leave. Not only does this Sam's have the best employees, they keep that store clean enough to eat off the floors. The merchandise is stocked perfectly, and the lighting is bright and cheerful. This has to be the best store in the chain, and my favorite place to shop in Mt Pleasant. Thank you Mt Pleasant Sam's Club, and please recognize Phil for the kind-hearted soul he is. Here's an example: They charge $14 for two 2 x 2 inch passport photos, even if you bring in your own image on a flash-drive. If you order 4 passport photos (same image), they will charge you $28, six photos, $42, and so on. If you order the same photo in a standard 4 x 6 inch format, the charge is 39 cents per photo. When I asked why they charged $7 for a 2 x 2 photo and 39 cents for a 4 x 6 photo, they said, "it is company policy." They didn't try to be accommodating or acknowledge that their passport photo policy is highway robbery. I will never shop at Walgreens again.
