Go where there is less people traffic. I would think they would have her medication in stock. While she opted for a place closer, that was the solution! In the meanwhile, I have particularly come to love this place for its patience for my photocopies and these handmade crafts. They're beautiful, dear, thoughtful and detailed. They make me feel like I'm in Park Slope, Brooklyn. While commonly known as the highest concentration of writers, the dearest, amongst the most well made things by visual artists are there too. My eyes and fingertips love these things. I love the visits here. Exterior is between unassuming and hole-in-a-wall, in a rundown, vacant-looking parking lot. I really thought it was out-of-business remains. Frozen in time. Inside feels like it too, except there are live human beings, mostly cordial enough.

Came in to get a flu vaccine…read more Pharmacist, Desai Suchita PharmD, attended to me quickly and she was very sweet. You can tell she had a very pleasant demeanor. She made me feel at ease. She took my information quickly, did not make me wait. She administered the vaccine very effectively, no pain whatsoever. Provided me documentation for work, made a funny joke about healthcare employees coming in at the last minutes (I'm guilty, so I laughed). She gave me a coupon and a free pill organizer. Very nice experience with the CVS pharmacy. I will come here again for my flu shot. It was completely covered by my insurance and very prompt and decent experience.

Incompetent!!!! Dr. sent the prescription into CVS on a Wednesday. I called on Thursday to check on…read morethe status of the prescription. The pharmacist "couldn't find it," so I had the Dr. call it in again. Thursday night, the pharm tech stated that he saw the prescription and that it would be available for pick up Friday morning. Friday morning, the pharmacist can "no longer see the prescription in the system. It's as if it disappeared." I had my Dr. call the script in for the THIRD time, only for the pharmacist to not be able to find it. I visited a neighboring CVS out of sheer frustration and confusion, and had THAT pharmacist call THIS pharmacist and teach him how to view the script in his system. Although they claimed the prescription would be available by Friday night, it wasn't ready until Saturday. Hours of time wasted on the phone with CVS' atrocious answering service and my Dr.'s office... only to have to find another pharmacist teach this pharmacist how to do his job.

Asked my doctor on my portal; the assistant just wrote "Do not mix." Confused and texted again for clarification but she never replied. Today I decided to ask the pharmacist. The guy who claimed to be the pharmacist at this Walgreen was not friendly at all. At first he said it's powder and told me "do not add water". I told him the flyer from Walgreen said it's liquid. After he got my birthday, he confirmed it's liquid and told me to follow the instructions on the box. I was at a loss why the lady told me not to add water when I picked up the medication. Suggested to him that people in the pharmacy group do not give out random wrong information to customers. But he promptly hung up.

I asked her if I still need to do the checklist. She said she got me and obtained all my information. Told me I was next up and the doctor would be right with me. Waited at this point past my appointment time as a doctor was wrapping up with a patient, then went to several offices to talk to other clinicians. I'm the only one in the waiting area. Another person comes and gets triaged ..she is told that they'll fit her in between patients...lol I'm the only person there waiting. 12:35 rolls around no one has come out get me. A little bit before 12:40 someone grabs the other patient that came after me and said they'll be right with me after her "it'll be quick".... Finally about 10-12 min later I leave because my appointment was at 12:20, I arrived earlier than the 10 min requested, no one is really there and now it's approaching 1 o'clock... if I wanted to wait 40 minutes past my appt time to be seen I would go to my regular doctor not a MinuteClinic. They don't realize I've left and called me until 12:56 asking where am I? I explained I had an appointment at 12:20. I came abundantly early. I shouldn't have been waiting that long especially if a patient comes after me, and I was the only one waiting....they tried to tell me that patient had a 12:10 appt but that patient showed up over 20 minutes late if that's the case. I would know because I was waiting in the room to be called by the doctor and it was already like 12:35. I shouldn't have to wait for someone who was late. And rather than apologize, the physician said well we've already seen you..implying I'll be billed basically and asking when am I coming back. Another manager called to say they'll same thing, that I misunderstood. If it is in your practice to triage patients so that you can delay timing for them to be seen and lock them into paying you should be reported or this clinic at least should be reported. Trying to explain to me as a patient that I'm wrong for not wanting to wait almost an hour to be seen in an empty clinic because of their poor time management is a failure on their part and I will never participate in another minute clinic again

See, this Walgreens is all about security and it can take awhile to get checked out (but not by the guys constantly checking Barbie out here), and even can be a little shady sometimes, but they have things that some of the other stores donut (get it, donut), and they have some good sales, and we have never had an awful experience so I'm giving them a good rating - and an extra star to them for being open later than your mother's brothel.

I called them and they looked to be sure they had it. When insurance said the quantity that the doctor had ordered had to be preapproved, they check to see if they could at least fill the quantity the insurance would accept so my daughter had her medication when she needed it. And best of all, you can actually speak with a person instead of having to leave a message and hope you get a return call in an hour or two.
